[*The Journey*]
Inspired by (you guessed it) Gaia's Frontier Skies game. rofl
We're going to undertake a perilous journey across vast, uninterrupted wilderness riddled with danger and landmarks- through all sorts of terrain, starting with the savannah, of course! Our merry band shall meet more along the way in all sorts of locations as more Carous join, but for some, this ORP will be a place to begin an adventure- but not the place to end one. Some may be left behind to RP on their own or start families, separating into other RP threads unless they plan for their characters to catch up to the others somehow.
Our adventure is led at first by Chimaera, whose enthusiasm knows no bounds (however, it skips and leaps and frolics continuously) but this leadership is VERY subject to change. rofl (Chimaera's not the most competent. Lol.)
We begin one magical night, before the sun rises...

 Up on a conspicuous grassy hill in the middle of the savannah, the newly arrived lion Carou was walking dizzy circles while looking straight up at the night sky. It was the first time he'd seen that. He'd never had such a great view before. The stars that twinkled were inebriating him with excitement. He could barely keep himself from leaping up and trying to catch them, even though they were so far away. He'd stand on his back legs sometimes, lifting a paw upwards and making little grabby motions, a gaping smile on his face. To anybody watching, he must have looked crazy- but he didn't care. He was alone in his world right now, playing with the stars.

 Mikra was wandering about with Nikkus for fun. She noticed a lion wandering about in circles. "What's that one up to?" She tapped Nikkus and nodded at the lion. He smiled and walked with her toward the lion.
Mikra stopped close by and smiled. "Hello there! What are you doing?"

 Nikkus was having fun wandering around with Mikra. He was looking at some strange grass, and then was tapped by Mikra. He smiled at her and followed her to some silly looking lion. He waited with Mikra for a response.

Chimaera was very distracted, so Mikra's voice came as a surprise. He spun around to face her and her friend, still hopping up and down on his front legs while he explained: "Don't know don't care! It's all just so amazing!"
He paused, realizing how that sounded. "...I swear I'm not on catnip, by the way." Chimaera then glanced back and forth at them, deciding he needed introductions.
"I'm Chimaera. Sorry if I'm acting weird, I'm kind of new here. And it's awesome! Isn't it great?" He stood up and pointed a furry arm to the sky, with all its little twinkling lights just out of reach.

Mikra chuckled. "So new to everything huh. The star can be amazing at times. But no need to hop about like that." She smiled at him and sat. "I'm Mikra and this is Nikkus. He rarely talks, but he likes to play tricks."
Nikkus sat and watched the two. He nodded when Mikra introduced him. Then smiled up at the stars.

Chimaera wasn't at all embarrassed even though the pale fox remarked on his earlier hopping. "Hee." He grinned, honestly just enjoying things, and now he even had company. "Nice to meet you both. ...Say, what's that?"
It had begun to grow brighter, and the sun rose steadily to peek over the horizon, its rays breaking across the sky- soon to envelop the land in light. The lion continued to be amazed. In his previous existence, there was a roof above and that was pretty much in the way of everything. "Whoaaaaa. ...There's so much to discover here!" With that, the desire for adventure began to brew.
