Creatures of Faire Vampires:Not the typical vampire we know in our world. About the only thing they have in common is long life, sharp teeth and increased strength. Biting is reserved for marriage, lovers, and close friends. Some still lose themselves in battle and enjoy ripping open an opponents throat with their teeth. This practice is looked down upon in this day and age. Biting was also used during the slave years to mark slaves. Once blood is exchanged it 'links' the two individuals together, it allows one to 'sense' where the other is. Vampires mostly live in the castle city, there are a few small towns scattered about the territory. Elves:The great forest is their home, it borders to the northeast of the Vampires territory. They live close to nature and tend to usually look young. They age like vampires, some believe that the two are decedent from the same being. One of the supporting factors for this argument is the only species elves can mate with and have a successful child birth with no complications is a Elf/Vampire mating. Most of the population lives in the great forest, tho some do leave and live in the towns of other races. Dwarves: The Dwarf city can be found at the base of the mountains to the south. Ogres/Trolls/Orcs:These creatures can be found almost anywhere from coast to coast. Most are in small groups of 5-6 of their own kind. Goblins: Not very intelligent beings. They mostly live between the Great Forest and the swampland to its south. Weres:Can be found anywhere in any town or city. Weres are interesting since at birth they can shift into any creature they choose, when they come of age they choose their permanent creature. So it's not unusual for a were-cat mother and a were-bear father to have a were-hawk child. There is always a 1% chance that a child born to two were parents will be completely human. Centaurs: The centaurs rome the plains to the south west, on the other side of the Dwarves mountains. Nagas:Nagas live alongside the Dwarves. It's not every day one sees a Naga in the main cities. Mers (Shallows-mammal based, Deep-fish based):There are two separate species of Mers. One is mammalian based and the other is fish based. The mammalians tend to live in the shallows. It's not uncommon to see a city on the water near the deltas where rivers meet the ocean. Or at key crossing points on major rivers. The fish based species live in the deep waters of the oceans. Not much is known about them. Only the shallows mers know anything about them. Unless it's a costal city, you will never see a Mer in a major town. Giants:Live in the southern half of the swamp and mountains. They are about 3 times taller than a normal human. They are actually very agricultural and supply a lot of produce to the markets. Most cities and towns have a spot just outside specially for giants to rest and set up shop. Demon (aka other):This is the label given to any that don't exactly fit elsewhere. This spans the gauntlet of mostly human looking beings having everything from horns to bat wings and a tail, Or the pig man that runs the brothel. Can be found anywhere.

Half-Breed info Human + .... Vampire: A mating of human and Vampire will result in the child being Vampire. Elf: Is possible but the child will be mentally unstable and psychotic if it survives. Elves avoid mating with humans. If there is a child it is usually killed when born. Dwarf: Is possible and happens. No major consequences. Ogres/Trolls/Orcs/Goblins: Unknown if successful mating is possible. No human has yet tried to reproduce with any of these species. Theoretically possible, consequences are unknown. Weres: Is possible and happens. No major consequences, child tends to be born Were 80% of the time. Centaurs/Naga/Mers: Not possible, the genetics are to different for mating to be successful. Fun can be had but children are not possible. Giants: Human Male + Giant Female is possible and occasionally happens. Human Female + Giant Male is possible but a human female carrying the child of a giant will die. The baby grows to large to be carried by a human woman. Results in death of mother and child. Dragonbloods: No Demon: Depends on the demon being mated with.
All interracial births are subject to approval.

Ages Human: Regular human Aging Vampire & Elf: They age at a normal human rate until puberty (16ish), then aging slows to one year for every ten human years. EX: My vampire looks 30 years old, 30-16=14x10=140+16=156. So his true age would be 156 years old. Nagas, Weres, and Mers: Human Age x2 Giants: Human Age x 3 Demon:Your choice Dragonblood: Ancient Other: Human rate

There are 4 main cities on the continent. Flayseria: The Great City - Large Gothic stone buildings and mansions, smaller homes made of stone and wood. Has a large central plaza, the Upperclass district, the Lower Class district, and the Merciant District. Large stone walls surround the city, farms and fields are located outside the walls. Peace is kept by the military and the country is ruled by its King. Humans are used as slaves and cheap labor by most.
Sylvanus: The City Hidden in the Woods - Beings of Nature and the Arts, they are lead by the Council of Elders. There really is no class speration in the Elven community other than the Artists and the Hunters. It's not often they allow a non-elf into their city, and those that do find themselves lucky to find themselves on the inside of the walls tend to have Trading permits with the Elves. The Architecture is practical, nature friendly and beautiful.
Dun Lorieg: The City in the Mountian - A melting pot for all the different Races. It's found at the base of a mountian and extends into the mountian. Metalwork, weapons and jewlery tend to be their exports along with alcohol. There is a king but it's mostly just a title. The different districts tend to appear to just be a mish-mosh of whatever materials that the people could find at the time.
Aquios: The City by the Sea - Mostly Mammalian Mers and it's focal point is ocean travel between the main land and the outter islands as well as treasures from the deep and trade with the Deep-Sea Mers. A major area of trade
Other Areas: The Great Forest - The Forest surrounding Sylvanus The Lorieg Mountians - The Location of Dun Lorieg The Swampland - Located in a nich between the Forest and the Mountians The Plains - On the southern side of the Lorieg Mountians The Tundra - The northen most area of the continent, frozen in white The Oceans - Collectivly known as the Great Ocean, Seperated into the Great Eastern Sea, the Great Western Sea, and the Great Southern Sea (I'm gonna try and make a map....)
