~What is a Role Play?~
The act of roleplaying is quite simple. The name in itself tells you what roleplaying or commonly known as (RP) is. You basically make a character and play out their role. It's quite simple right?

-Terms/Glossary-
Bio- Short for biography. This is basically the general story of the character your currently making at that point in time.
Bumping- Its posting in a thread for the sole purpose of getting the thread back up to the top of the forum. It isn't allowed in this guild in the role play subforums and should not be done unless the role play has been inactive for more than one month.
Character- The person being played. In a role play, each person should have one or more characters.
Cybering- When at least one or more people start getting into freaky deeky things. Big NO NO!
God modding- This is controlling another character, the weather, or the surrounding environment, or it could also be as simple as making your guy seem invincible and auto-hitting the other roleplayer's character.
Newbies- The people who are new to Gaia and wish to learn how to roleplay and learn in general. Often confused with "NOOBS"
Noobs- Stupid people who purposely disregard the rules, act foolishly, and be dumb about everything.
OOC- Means 'out of character'. When someone types 'OOC' before whatever it is they have typed, it means that what they are about to say is not what their character is saying or doing. This is usually meant to talk to another player about a problem or maybe the plot or storyline.
Profile- This is the characters information sheet. It usually contains all the basic information of a person. Like thier past, age, height, etc...
RP- Role Play
Skeleton- The skeleton is the thing to create your profile with. Most roleplays will have these so you know how to create your profile.
Subforum- The smaller forums, non-main ones.
Thread- It is what you click on after you click on the topic. It is everything inside of that particular topic.
