The Chaws: The Ga'Hoole tree is compromised of Parliament (leaders) and the chaws (working teams). Every young owl that arrives to Ga'Hoole goes through a schedule of classes for learning and training. These classes will teach the owls what they need to know to be Guardians, productive members of the society, and all around better owls. Also, these classes serve for allowing the rybs (teachers) see which owls will serve best in their chaw. A chaw is a team, or, that owl's particular job within the Great tree. They are expected to perform exceedingly well with the characteristics, traits, and abilities they exhibit as well as motivate and assist each other. Colliering Chaw: The colliering chaw primarily flies out to forest fires and collects the various coals and embers that bring life and industry to the Great Tree. Also, they are superb in the art of fire branch combat and often serve in the Fire Fighter Squadron. Members of this chaw also make up the.... Weather Chaw: The weather chaw uses the colliering chaw, as it is important to understand the structure of forest fires and the effects the weather and winds will have on it. They scout out the weather around Ga'hoole and enjoy flying in storms and high winds. Except for tornadoes and hurricanes.. horrible way for an owl to die.Tracking Chaw: These are the bloodhounds of the owls. Their mission is to track the movements and locations of abandoned/lost owlets, injured owls, and enemies. They work well with Navigation Chaw members to keep on course. Tracking Chaw owls are trained to get the most minute information from the most obscure signs.Navigation Chaw: These owls make up the navigators of the Great Tree. They work with the Tracking and Search and Rescue chaws. Being owls, they learn to read the rivers, land, and most importantly the stars to navigate their fellows through the night. Search-and-Rescue Chaw: Owls in the SAR Chaw are rescuers, searchers, and fighters. They really enjoy their battle claws as well. Thier mission is to follow through with the Tracking Chaw and bring back abandoned owls and owlets or return grounded owlets to their hollows. They also do recon missions and set out to retrieve missing Guardians. Ga'Hoology Chaw: The Ga'Hoology Chaw is just as important as any other chaw, as it's main purpose is to protect, care for, and maintain the Great Tree the order resides in.

Now all that is missing is the Chaw of Chaws, and we are all set, right? Well if the profiles for Ga'Hoole are going to be original, there shouldn't be a Chaw of Chaws because that was only band. Unless they carried on the tradition and passed it on to younger owls later in the books, but I would't know that yet. x3 Or are they going to be a mix of original profiles and established profiles?
