Hardly one of her favorite things to do, Thali was laying on the couch with her head propped up on pillows. Her husband had made it almost impossible to be rebelious this afternoon, having left their twin daughters to supervise the elf. They had instructions to make sure she didn't over do it. Meaning they weren't allowing her to do much of anything.
Which irritated the elf to no end. She hated not being able to do her normal routine. She hated not being able to be out in her garden, in the rain. She hated how Ben always thought he knew--
"Hey Mom?" Thali's eyes settled on Sammi, where they softened slightly before the elf remembered that her daughter was in on her husband's plot to keep her from doing anything.
"Hm?"
"What do you want for lunch?"
Thali glared.
"...Soup sound good?"
Time to have a little fun. "No. I want pizza. With pineapples, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, chicken, m&ms, four kinds of cheese, stuffed crust, with the sauce inside it--"
"I'll order it," Reiya said, going to the phone.

Jaella hummed to herself as she skipped down the sidewalk. She was visiting Miss Thali today! She hadn't seen her old friend in a while, but she was going to see her now, so it was all good. That, and she'd brought a special someone to meet Thali! The girl held a plastic container of cupcakes and cookies; hopefully enough for the large family known as the Sadrils. And if not, she could just run home and make them some more.
Cantarella stood next to her mother as they stopped at the door, all three eyes narrowed in agitation. She did NOT want to be here, especially dress in the ridiculous outfit. Honestly, it looked like a rainbow had vomited all over her! The toddler let out an annoyed sigh, small arms crossing. The only good thing about this trip so far was the warm cement under her feet. And that wasn't enough to cheer the little bald girl up any. Canti looked up at the door, her expression fading to apathy as her mother knocked on the door.

"Do you think Dad's home early?" Reiya asked, hanging up the phone after placing her mother's order. She went to the door and looked through the peep-hole. "Jae!" she said with surprise, pulling the door open. From the living room, she could hear her mother snort.
"She's late," Thali remarked. "I already know." Her tone sounded far too pleased. The twins knew she had a certain fondness for the walking-talking GPS, but surely not enough to--
"Mom! Dad said you have to lay down!" Came Sammi's voice.
"He wants me to die. Of boredom. Jae, come on in!"
