If you have questions about the guild, you may post your question here and it may be answered by other people! It's as simple as that! If you have urgent questions or your question isn't being answered, You may also pm the crew. Fire away!! But you know, there is a thread that will answer a lot of your questions, and I would suggest you check it out first, okay? FEF guide

Heh, did you post this for me? I'm just not sure how to start things off, plus i'm a little distracted right now so my brain power can't focus on this guild as much as I want to at the moment. Do I have to start with an OC and then go to real character or keep both? How does having a real character from Fire Emblem make it possible to roleplay with ones of different times and such? Where is the Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones list? Umm...what else...

@ xDemonhornzx: Well, you can start with either an OC or a Canon Character, there's no real preference. If you want a character with a predetermined personality that you like for one reason or another (from class to personality to personal experience to looks to whatever) then you can feel free to claim them. But just because they're claimed does not mean that you have to RP them. There are people like like Marth and Ike in FEF that don't RP, but they still have the characters claimed, or there are people like our Lyon, who have the character claimed but RP with their OC instead. And then there are people who RP with both their Claimed Canon Character and their Original Characters, like... most of the RPers. If you want to play one from another time, it probably depends on the character or what game they're from. I know that, an example could be how my portrayal of FE6's Rei is about four or five years older than the one in the game's storyline. But remember, you can only have one Canon Character until you get a lot of posts racked up. Like, 5000. So don't even let the thought of a Second Canon Character come to mind until a good ways away.
And there's a Character List in the Village Gates somewhere, just click around and look up FE8. It'll even tell you what is and isn't taken. :3
@ Naomi: If by name, you mean like... username or alias and character, you'll be best off finding that out by interactions or by reading a few threads (I'd say to go for Event Archives, since they make up a large part of the recent activity on the FEF Forums.) or something. Or, if you have a lot of time, you could go and skim the Character List a few times, so you might randomly end up seeing a username you recognize. :3

Also, what do I need to know story wise? I can make a character, but I can't know where it'll fit or how i'll apply it or where to go...

Also, what do I need to know story wise? I can make a character, but I can't know where it'll fit or how i'll apply it or where to go... Characters that join the RP that come from the FE1 -11 worlds all pass through something called 'The Door' and enter into this new world our guild revolves around. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. >.>;;
As for entering the RP storywise...just take a peek at our current event going on. Once you catch up on that (either by reading the synopsis that is in a slight need of updating or by reading each numbered thread individually), you can put your character into the fray in one of the later numbers (Don't bother with anything before thread 9, as that is all stuff that should already be locked.). Or you can wait until the event's over and then mosey on over to the Learanian Legacies subforum and have a character introduction thread where your character (OC or Canon), enters this world. You'll run into people who'll interact with you after a little bit of waiting, as we're all busy with school and such.
That...should be it, maybe? Anything I missed, crew? -trying to keep it brief-

xDemonhornzx I meant how would a Fire Emblem 6 character be in the same world as a Fire Emblem 1 character, that kind of thing. Also, what do I need to know story wise? I can make a character, but I can't know where it'll fit or how i'll apply it or where to go... That, my friend, is the guild's very own Fire Emblem series and events. >>; Tales of Learania will explain your question of how two characters from different worlds came to the same area. To make it short story, all the characters came through a portal to the continent they are in now. This is why we have different countries' names and cities in the event. What you need to know about the story is the background story of the continent and what is going on in the event. If you need help of making a character, feel free to ask us and we'll help you. :3 @ Roy: You got it partly correct. Some do come from "The Door." Others came through portals and ended up in random places like how Janaff came to someone's bathroom from the bathroom he was using. LOL XD

Is everything I need to immediately know on that page "Tales of Learania", or are there other places I should go to? Linking or telling me what places I should visit that (in your opinion) would get a fellow pleasantly informed enough to start would be a huge help.
I'm the type of person who wants to know as much as possible before starting a task, what I need to do and what I should know, etc. That's why its hard for me whenever I join Guilds (only about 2 so far in all my time on Gaia that I actually go to at all besides this one that I just joined), and especially so since its a big guild with more than a year's history (I assume) on it.

I know for sure that there are some things that it doesn't cover, but learning the basic setting is probably a great first step. From there, you'll have a better idea of what questions you still need to ask to get to a point where you feel comfortable. :3

...Oh man...I just got to the part with all the plot summaries...you've got to be kidding me crying
Honestly, reading just the Halloween 08 summary thread (read everything else on the Learania thread) makes me want to leave. There's a lot to remember if you're not an old member...hmm, perhaps it'd be better if I just started up a character and went from there...

Now another question about pictures that go in the code: Username: username here Name: Description or Splice: Personality or Past: Debut in the Canon?:I don't know where i'll find an FE mugshot that actually matches my character because I think that's impossible for the general picture of a character you want to copy an existing character from FE (regarding OCs). Tek Tek seems kind of cheap too...what if its a picture from google images, anime style? Hmm...
