Town square is at the very center of town, surrounded by a few lucky businesses, but mostly reserved for such buildings as the police department, government offices, fire station, and the mayor's home itself. The public garden is just down the block from here, while, on the opposite end, one can see the sparkle of the water from the fountain in the day. This is normally a lively place, people coming to and from work, a few just strolling about, while some children could be found scurrying on by to the playground up the street from here. There are birds atop the lights and flowers blooming along the sidewalk, though none as beautiful as the one's at the garden. There even is a small, humble fountain and, despite lacking the elegance of the town fountain, is still a quaint spot to relax. If one can handle the possible bustle of people, that is.

God, it was boring here. Kotone had gotten sick of tired of hanging around that depressing house with her depressing sister, and so she had come out hoping to find something exciting... But everything was lame here. If only she could be back home, where she could go loiter around the nearest 7-11 with her friends until the crabby Indian man who owned the place came out to yell at them. Why couldn't there be anything like that here? She took a seat on one of the benches, staring straight at nothing in particular. She held her umbrella loosely, so it fell at a slight angle and her feet got wet.

☠ The Brat ☠ → vs ← ☯ The Thief ☯ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ How hard was it to find a single mansion in such a big island?! Very hard! He should have been given directions, or at least some cash to get a cab or food... Well at least he ate something, he did steal some food from the cafe! Or more like ran off on the bill! Haha! But with this rain! He needed a place to stay... or at least some money. He looked around and quickly noticed a blond girl with an umbrella. He jogged over to her and stood up straight, with a light smile on his face. "Um. Hello..." He said, in his more sweet voice.
(TEEN GIRL VISION~!)
"I seem to be lost, could you please help me?" He asked, sounding so sweet~ His smile was nice and gentle, and the rain just promoted his look! No matter the weather he always looked so good, it seemed more like the rain wasn't even hitting him, like if he has a light force field protecting his body from the wetness, making him stand out a bit more. Plus that look he made, it always worked on girls like her... and by girls like her, he meant girls that sat alone on a bench in the rain looking cranky.

Kotone glanced up when a male voice addressed her, but her umbrella was blocking her view, so she shifted it to the side slightly, getting her leg wet this time. Once he came into view, her jaw dropped. Who was the sparkling bishounen? Her mind ran wild with scenarios from the cheesy shoujo manga she sometimes read at the library. This was when the beautiful boy changed her life forever... right? "I-I'll totally help!" she chirped, standing up and gripping her umbrella tightly. "Where do you need to go?"

☠ The Brat ☠ → vs ← ☯ The Thief ☯ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The thief smiled at her sweetly~ He sure did know how to pull the sweet pretty boy act. "Well..." He said taking out a piece of paper with something written in black ink. "I have to go to..." He started to read it when the wind blew the piece of paper right off his hands, and into a puddle! The boy quickly went over to it and picked it up. He then held it up and it was soaked! The ink was barely readable now! "Oh damn." He said as the paper was just getting more wet from the rain. "Great, those was the only paper I had with the directions and number, uhh..."
He looked over at the girl. "I-I don't want to be much of a bother, but do you happen to I don't know, live nearby, and let me in for awhile? I just need to get this paper dry somewhere that it's not raining... I think if I manage to do it soon I could probably still read them!" He asked, giving her pleading eyes. What was on the paper? Well... actually it had the real address to the Cantata mansion. Dammit. The wind thing was a coincidence, he was actually just planning to lead her somewhere that it didn't say and take her things. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Normally Kotone wasn't the type to show sympathy towards people -- afterall, it wasn't her fault that they couldn't figure out how to have a good life, so why should she be nice to them? But this boy was sucking out all of the sympathy she had. The poor boy! He was lost and didn't even have his directions anymore! Stupid rain! She hadn't even noticed the slight change in his character, she felt so bad for him! "Sure, sure!" she replied quickly without thinking. Wait a minute. What did Shinju say about strangers and inviting people over? Oh, she couldn't remember, it wasn't like she ever listened to those lectures! "My house isn't too far away. You can use my stupid sister's hair dryer to dry off your paper!"

☠ The Brat ☠ → vs ← ☯ The Thief ☯ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The red head regained his composer smiling at her gratefully. Alright he almost lost the whole sweet boy thing when his paper got soaked. even though in the inside he was burning with the rage of a thousand Ho-Oh's. "Really? Thank you~ Please lead the way! I really can't thank you enough." He said sounding so sweet and innocent, with a slight flirtsy tone~ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Good going Kotone! This is your chance! Rescue a cute boy from the rain and you'll surely be rewarded! Maybe he's the son of a famous actor? A music producer? A KING?! Oh god, a prince! You've always wanted a prince! Don't mess this up, Kotone, or I'll kick your a**... ...And so went Kotone's inner thoughts as the boy thanked her. "Th-this way," she gestured for him to follow as she walked -- no, more like stumbled, she was thinking too hard -- towards home. [ ooc: to the Tamaki home~~ 8D]

☠ The Brat ☠ → vs ← ☯ The Thief ☯ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Good, it was all going better than expected... hell if he plays his cards right he could probably get her to kill her parents and give him the house! Muahaha! Okay maybe not that extreme, probably something like not notice that he's taking their TV or something...? Or their car? Either one works. He followed the girl to her home...
(I suck at exit posts, so... exit to the Tamaki home! XP) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Bela was sitting on a bench, looking upwards at the sky. Her whole body was wet, making her dress (with the little burnt hole) stick to her body. She stuck out like a sore thumb, because she was wearing a sundress. It was very yellow, and with flowers on it; the cheesy kind. She had no idea why she resorted to wearing this crap.
But right now, she didn't care in the least. Not that her life was a living hell, that her co-worker was out to get her, that she felt like utter crap, and she really missed her father right about now. She had thought about going to Vlad, but that would just make her feel worse. So here she was, alone with her thoughts.
People can never understand. She's not an Ice Queen, she's just... trying to protect herself, protect her heart and her feelings. It's a defense mechanism. Nobody ever understands, ever. She wondered if some nice guy would walk by, offer to take her home with him, make some hot chocolate and just... talk. But with her luck, she'd attract some pervy geezer. And with her wet dress clinging to her body like that, the latter was highly probable.
People think she's so proud, when she feels so utterly uncomfortable in her own skin right now. She really just wanted to talk to a stranger right now, and just spill everything out with no regret. Nobody knew as she sat there, she was waiting.
Waiting for nobody.

Ciel was horrified, no, mortified better fit what he felt like right now. His time with Kade had caused him to have an inner turmoil, mulling over everything. But, being as he absolutely could not lose his composure in front of everyone, he kept his back straight, his face neutral, and kept his walk natural looking. While on the inside, he was an emotional wreck. Was everyone that insane? Twisted? Psychopathic? He shivered at the thought. He hoped the girl, Rachel Fate, he believed was her name, that he has to go out with today won't be half as crazy. Besides, who the hell makes events like these? Sure its for charity, but come on, having women bid on men? That's just some excuse for some lonely women to get the chance to go out with a guy. Besides, at least the lady who got him is lucky. For he is the most handsome thing he knows. Who else has his manners, gracefulness, and knows how to woo a lady? Well, not every lady, he learned that the hard way. At least Sasha was there to help talk his way out that situation.
Ciel searched Town Square for the girl, Rachel Fate. Sighing, he plopped down on one of the benches nearest to him and decided to wait. She'll find him eventually. Ciel hoped the wait wouldn't be long. But merely waiting for your certain doom doesn't make it any better. Pulling out his journal he kept with him, he wrote down his thoughts so far on the people. Kade, so far, is the most annoying, the people who helped him get off the ship here, annoying. The salesman of the house he bought, annoying. Almost everyone in the whole town here is annoying! He leaned his back into the bench, looking at the assortments of people. He grumbled under his breath as he looked around, hoping the girl Rachel would hurry up and notice he's already here. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ♤ C۰I۰E۰L XXXXX R۰O۰M۰A۰N۰O۰V ♤

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rachel Fate_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Oh darn it... Rachel really hoped she wasn't too late. It had only been a few minutes, but that was still rude. Besides it wasn't like she could really blame Sophia... the dog only wanted her lunch and-yeah it had been a messy afternoon. Now she had a date, which was kinda sad how it happened but she'd mull that over later. Ciel Romanov, who was he though? She still didn't get the chance to look through the police record before coming here... and since Romane had basically kidnapped them everyday to look them over... well how was she supposed to know the new arrivals. Or maybe he was old? Oh who knew? She just walked along the square, her eyes stopping at a bench nearby and a young man there. Well... considering it was winter and not everyone enjoyed sitting in the snow... the amazing logic said that must've been the guy. It didn't take that long for the blond to approach him and she smiled in greeting. "Hey there, any chance you're a Ciel Romanov?" asked Rachel after a moment, with her normal smile. She could just be mistaken... though she really hoped she wasn't.

[[ OOC @ Moose and Fanta : This will now become the site of the new year eve family-friendly party and firework. Either make a quick time paradox before exiting somewhere else, or make Rachel and Ciel have their date at the new year party.]] Like every year, there was two places where the new year festivities were being held; the club and the townsquare. Each one had their pro's and con's, but for Gladice, it was always at the town square. For her, New year was a family thing, and everyone should be able to enjoy it, including kids. And really, fireworks were always lovely. She was one of the first to be there, directing various NPC's on how to set the place to acomode many people, including a variety of grills used to make food for people, as well as some drinks that were being held in special container to make sure they did not freeze. In the middle of the square was a giant bonfire, keeping everyone warm. That did not stop her from wearing a large red coat with a fur hood. She was old, she needed to be kept warm! That, and she just loved that coat.

Emiko was finally over with her cold and the kids wanted to go to the festival so she figured why not? It probably wasn't the best idea for her to go out into the cold when she was had just gotten over being sick but she would do it for her children. "Are you excited for the fireworks?" Usagi asked her younger sister. Mitsukai nodded her head, "Yeah!""Come on Amaya!" Ai called to her older sister as she ran ahead of her. Amaya didn't really care to go but she did, that fairy did tell her she needed to get out more. Her choices for New Years Eve were either the bar or the town square and although neither seemed like the best idea she decided on the Town Square since she could at least keep an eye on Ai that way. Mariella looked around the town square not really quite sure what she should do now. She didn't really get out much and the only people she really knew were her coworkers at the bakery. Emily sighed, here she was on New Year's Eve all alone. Her older brother Logan was going to come with her but he decided to go to the bar along with Bryan and Aria instead. She decided to go to the town square anyway, since she didn't want to sit at home all night.

Mia Riddle ❤ ❤ ❤ Kia walked with her twin sister, Mia, to town square. She was wearing spring green dresses. Not because they liked looking identical, but because they were being sold online for real cheap, so they each bought one. It also happened that they're very soft, and they were tripping out a bit too much. "What are we doing here man?! This was a bad idea MAN." She said, freaking out. What if hippopotamus get them?! Or the cops?! THEY ******** KNOW. "I'm so ******** hungry man." Pizza would hit the spot for her. Cheesy pizza. Five types of cheese.. and onions, and nacho cheeses, oh and some jalapeno juice to pour on it. Not to forget the spicy little packets of peppers.. and ranch dressing to dip that in. Kia Riddle ❤ ❤ ❤
