Spiramancy: Spiramancy is an ability that Hyōshi can use with his MP3 player. With this ability Hyōshi can create and manipulate various waves with different effects. The ability is based off of the classical element of "Sky" or "Aether" which can be associated with purity and the spirit. Spiramancy can distort the air space, teleport, create aerial disturbances that can generate electricity, and compress waves to create dangerous light constructs.
Bio: Hyōshi Mattaki was a young boy with an addiction to the game of Tin Pin. While he was a very good player, he never stayed around after matches or conversed with other tin pin players. Instead, he would sit somewhere alone and eat butterscotch. Over the summer in mid-July, they held a Tin Pin tournament where many obsessed tin pin players participated. Hyōshi won the tournament and left in the shadows as he usually did, not knowing that he was being followed by a group of players he had beaten in the tournament. While he was sitting alone again eating butterscotch, the group ambushed him each holding a knife. There, they stabbed and killed him and he awoke in Shibuya, in the middle of the Scramble Crossing. With his memory still intact, Hyōshi grew furious. He ignored both the mission and the timer and walked straight to Molco where he new they were playing Tin Pin again. He gazed inside upon his killers and was planning revenge when he realized that he couldn't lay a finger upon them. They were alive and he was dead. Before long, a group of reapers surrounded Hyōshi, claiming that he would be able to avenge himself if he joined them. Without hesitation, Hyōshi agreed. There he gained the ability to summon noise and enhance light and sound waves to dangerous levels. However, he always summoned noise with a pattern to them, thus achieving the nickname "Rhythm" which he eventually grown accustomed to.
Personality: Rhythm tends to be quiet and self-kept. He has a strange obsession with having a certain flow to everything, like a musical pattern, as well as an obsession with butterscotch. He is completely unaware of how cold-hearted he is being as a reaper who works directly under the Conductor. However, he'll do whatever it takes to get his normal life back.
