This is the 'Profiles Thread'. When you want to join a Roleplay, this is where you post your profile. To make sure the Roleplay's owner sees that is is their Roleplay you're applying for, put the Roleplay's title at the beginning of your application.

Make sure your profiles match the criteria of the Roleplay and that you're using the correct application from. It's horribly annoying when you use the wrong one. And once more, even with your applications, BE LITERATE!

Liquid Courage

Name: Aiedail
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Centaur
Weapon: An elegant longbow carved to the likeness of an eagle is slung over her back, {+} http://tinypic.com/m7vx2w.jpg {+} with her quiver of black-feather tailed arrows.
Appearance: An air of proud elegance swirled around her, sharp eyes narrow and angled slightly upwards, the right a rich emerald, the left lavander. Her sleek pelt shimmered as the unseen muscles flexed under her suprisingly slim frame, excluding her torso, head and upper arms -which had only the finest layer of hair over it- though her lower arms were covered in the fur, the underside tresses longer, she had long horseish ears which flickered out from inbetween her mane, usually half flattened out to the sides or the back. Her face was slightly longer and muzzle-like, though it wasn't all that noticable.
Her pelt itself was hued ebony and alabaster, divided in a messy line down the center of her frame, left white and right black. Her upper body's fine pelt was just dark enought to be noticable, making it seem that half her skin was a greyish black, the other a pale white. Her mane was long and done up in multiple thin braids which fell around her head, split just above her temples by a pair of long curved horns, unlike most centaurs. Infact, she was about the only one who had them. Her mane continued down in a line, following her back bone untill it joined onto the rest of her pelt on her equine half. Her legs were sturdy and strong with fringes around her black diamond-hard hooves, which were protected by horseshoes. Her tail was long and divided into many thin braids, a bead at the end of each, like her mane.
She wore what could be assumed as a dress, it being sleeveless and came right up to mid-neck, fell down in a strip between her forelegs, from the back falling over her spine and to either side, though it was cut off at her hindlegs and instead continued up to her tail were it split and fell to either side, like a tailcoat. It was dyed to match her eyes opositely, emerald on the left and lavander the right. Slung over her back was a wide leather strip with a pouch on either side, containing a few things such as food and drink, flint, a smooth intrument made of hollow reeds bound togethere -each a different length so when air was blown through them, each would make a different note- and a couple of other things. Around her neck she wore a necklace decorated with feathers and beads. She wore a pair of black leather gloves and metal plates were strapped over her shins so to protect them. On each of her upper arm was a band of silver, inbetween the material and bracer chainmail to protect her shoulders. An additional bracer was kept around her tail close to the base.

History: At the age of nine, Aiedail lost her father while he was out on a hunting trip, leaving her and her pregnant mother to fend for themselves. Life had been hard enough for her in the first place, but now without a man in the family, things became worse. Aiedail had to learn to hunt to feed them, and work for money to pay the taxes. With winter drawing closer every week, and her mother expecting a child, the young centaur had to give up her friends and all her free time to support her and her growing family.
To Aiedail's dispair, both mother and child died at birth during the winter. Alone and orphaned with no money or food, her home was taken from her due to being unable to pay the taxes. Her whole life had shattered infront of her eyes, with nowere to go, no money and no food, she sought shelter in the one place that had room, a large house owned by a grouchy old centaur named Adrehen, who was once a fighter for their army. He taught her how to fend for herself and how to fight, showing her many things and giving her the eagle-shaped bow she carries with her constantly.
As she grew from a child to a woman, she and Adrehen became what was like a broken family, and Aiedail took care of him as he grew older in return for taking care of her for the six years he had. When she was 15, he passed on one night during his sleep after a whole life, and though she mourned yet another loss, she knew it had been his time. Now, after inheriting what posessions Adrehen owned, she set off in search of a new life, leaving the centaur villages South back to Arinis, were only half that had once lived there of her kind had set hoof since the war so long ago.
Her journey was long and tough, her 16th birthday passing along the way.
As the finally reached the large city, word of the new army reached her, and curiosity overcame the centaur. She took home in the city along with small jobs here and there were she could be of use and planned to wait the arrival of the new Dark Army, anxious to see the strange ceatures which were spoken of often, even if it meant she'd have to fight with the army to see them.

Liquid Courage!

The Keeper of Courage: [Lust-].

Name: Jagura Alka

Age:19

Gender: Female.

Race: Human

Weapon: Jagura wields an axe. The blade is about half a foot tall and a quarter of a foot wide. The pole it rests on is made of a very sturdy metal, suprisingly light, and is about four feet in height. Along the bottom of the axe, her family name, 'Alka', is inscirbed in the metal.

Appearance: Jagura has extremely long light brown hair. It reaches her thighs, easily, but is usually seen tied up in a large messy bun. She rarely takes her hair down, for it is a hassle to comb, but when she does she remembers why she refuses to have it cut. She greatly enjoys the sensation her hair has as it lightly brushes against her back, sending tingles down her spine. Her eyes are a green color, almost turqoise. They are quite sharp, at times, like a cat when it's eyes land on someone unexpectadly. But, other times, they are calm and expressionless. When she was young, she trained herself not to let emotions leak from her eyes, for it was once a great weakness.

Jagura is about five feet tall, five inches and has a slim figure. Most of her life she wore men's breeches, and still does. They're white, as is her loose long-sleeved shirt. Around her waist she wears a brown handy belt that can be used to carry daggers when necessary. Jagura, also, wears brown boots that reach about mid-calve and are quite worn out, but comfortable. Most of the time, Jagura wears a long black coat, with multiple pockets and a collar. Her axe usually hangs over her back.

History: The last of the Alka family blood line. They live in the castle in Arinis. The Keeper of Courage is the only person who knows where the Pool of courage is.

When Jagura was born, her father was both extremely proud and terribly dissapointed. He was proud to have his first child, the child who would bear the secret, but he was dissapointed to see that she was female. He'd always hoped to have a son who he could pass on his skills too. Though, in the end he passed on his skills none the less, he wasn't exactly pleased. There were times when he would embrace her like she were truly his child and times when he would banish her like she were a fly on the wall. He never could make up his mind. And, like her father, Jagura could never decide how she felt about him.

When Jagura was five, her mother died in childbirth. Yet, the child survived. It was a boy and he was named Jask after one of their most famous ancestors. She loved her younger brother dearly, but one day, when she was twelve and he was seven their father told them that he had been summoned to help fight a small battle raging West, in the swamps, Tora. Before he left, he told Jagura where the Pool lay. And it was then that she realized-- her father wouldn't be returning. Whether it was because death would take him or if he were too ashamed to return, she never did find out, but, at that point she knew what she had to do. She would have to raise her brother alone, but that thought quickly left her mind when the next morning she found her brother gone. For weeks, the village searched for him, but he was never found.

Jagura soon realized he had gone after their father, following in his footsteps. She was dissapointed, but she would never blame or hate him for it. She left the village and went to where she had been told the pool lay. For a week, she stayed there, watching the water and wondering what brought the tides that came. She was able to grieve, and once she did she headed east, to Arinis. She lived there for seven years, experiancing all she could, but a few weeks after her nineteenth birthday, she couldn't get the Pool out of her mind. And after two months, it was such an annoying pest in the back of her mind, she had no choice but to leave unexpetadly and head towards the Secret Place. She did, and once she reached her destination, she realized she was there to wait for the Hero that would save them from the Dark Army-- the one she had recieved so many letters about.

Liquid Curage

Username:Deep_Blue_Something

Name:Emara Varilen

Age:18

Gender:Female

Race:Human

Weapon:She carries a very simple wood bow, which is unadorned save for a few abstract carvings. It's a little more than half her height, designed to be sturdier than most and a little on the heavy side. It's also just heavy enough, so that if you were to beat someone over the head with it, it would do a fair amount of damage.

Appearance:A bit taller than five feet (appproximately 5'3") with dark messy hair that goes a bit past her chin. She has a fairly pale skin tone, and dark brown eyes. She has a very petite body type and not particularly outstanding physical features.
She wares a white cloak with a blueish-grey border at all times. Under her cloak, she usually dresses very conservatively, but can most often be found wearing a loose skirt and a simple short sleeve shirt. She also wears flexible, well-fitted sandles that tie around her ankles, and an two arm braces for either blocking, or to her protect her arm from her bow string.

History:Emara grew up with a very normal life for the times, however she was given the oppertunity to study under the high priestess and gladly accepted. She had been five at the time, and completely idolized her teacher. As a result she dedicated herself to learning her trade, with at an unheard of rate. Even through her rigorous studies, she managed to keep a relatively good bond with her family by writing letters.
Ten years later, she had fully mastered defensive magic and was permitted to begin learning healing from the high priestess. Within about three more years, she was able to perfect most of her healing magic, but lacked any sort of real world experience. Taking note of this, the high priestess sent her out to travel the lands, healing, defending, helping, and in general, putting all the skills she had learned to use. She has been traveling for around 2 months and has settled nicely into the life of a wanderer.

Gate Keepers X

Username: Starlit Angel

Name: Katherine Richney

Age: 17

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 122 lbs

Gender: Female

Appearance: Kate

Personality: More often than not, Kate can be found either practicing her 'skills' or making use of the large library on the Invaders in the A.E.G.I.S. headquarters. She's quick to hold a grudge wth her rapid temper and keeps to herself mostly, especially since she's mediocre at Japanese and has no friends among the Eastern Division as of now. If you've managed to gain her trust, she'll bless you with words of knowledge and wisdom, in addition to a bright smile and a witty remark.

Ethnicity: British

Alignment: Good

Gatekeeper of: Fire

Branch of A.E.G.I.S.: Europe Transfer to Asia

Bio: This fiery girl was born on September 21, which happens to be right around the time of the Autumn Equinox, in Winchester, England. The day matches with her fiery temper, as autumn happens to be her favorite season, and the atypical colors during that time happen to be among her Gate. Raised by both parents, a cop and a kindergarden teacher, Kate was lucky enough to have the fairly average childhood of an only child.

Not that I'm saying she was spoiled, or anything.

Needless to say, she's had a pretty peaceful life, which led up to her shock as a seventh grade student in the local junior high. Up until that point, she'd been unaware of her abilities, but quickly following the end of her spring break, Kate found that one of her classmates had been acting particularly strange during the vacation, not answering his phone and staying cooped up in his house.

Then, she'd decided to stay after school for a research project about her favorite subject: history.

Spotting her classmate in the back of the school's library, she headed over to ask why he'd been blowing off school if only to arrive once classes had ended. Needless to say, that hadn't been her brightest idea. When he'd turned around, he'd transforme a la Invader and before she could say "UFO!" he'd attacked her. In a spur of the moment action, she'd activated her gate and the student was now charred remains on the floor.

Luckily, she'd fleed the scene, the charred ashes being brushed off as dust while his disappearence labeled off as him running away. Shortly after, she'd been informed of exactly why she'd managed to summon a crescendo of fire and has been a member ever since. However, since the lack of Fire Gatekeepers who actually had at least a semblance of control over their powers was diminishing, Kate recieved a transfer to Tategami High as a student in her senior year, under the cover of a transfer student who'd won a scholarship.

Since then, she hasn't been very happy about the switch, as her language limits are French, Spanish and, of course, her native English. Not exactly the best way to converse with the locals.

Gate Keepers X

Username:Deep_Blue_Something

Name:Erica Strayden

Age:17 (Just shy of 18 )

Height:5'3"

Weight:124 lbs.

Gender:Female

Appearance:Erica

Personality:The only way to describe her is a cynical optimist. She has a way of being untrusting and slightly paranoid, though any signs of it are thouroughly buried. However outwardly, she's one of the most trusting and generous people you'll ever meet. She'd give her right arm if she though it would help someone. She also has a strangely nurturing air about her, and a seemingly never-ending fuse. Though she does tend to be rather slow at times, and never particularly excelled academically (but never suffered either).

Ethnicity:American (Mix of European and Asian bloodlines.)

Alignment:Good

Gatekeeper of:Earth

Branch of A.E.G.I.S.: America (Transfered to Asia)

Bio:Erica was an orphan, and thus, lived in an orphanage. Her mother had died in childbirth and her father was never found. Her life was good there, not fabulous, but far better than starving in the streets, which she never once let herself forget. She was looked upon as the "big sister" of the orphanage, and was often cleaning, cooking, or doing odd jobs trying to make money to support the other children.

On one particular night on her way back from a night shift at a store, when she noticed someone following her. Turning a corner, she managed to notice by the person's shadow that they were staggering oddly. Not being in the mood to be harassed by what she figured was a drunk, she ducked into an alley. After considering this for a moment, she realized that she had only managed to trap herself, between a wall and the now approaching person.

As she turned to face the stranger, she saw that he was quite pale and his mouth was hanging open dumbly. Like something you'd expect to see in some D-grade zombie movie. In stunned silence, she watched as the man transformed into an invader, which in itself was rather unsettling. On top of that, the newly transformed beast sprang at her within moments.

In a fury of adrenaline, she stumbled back and managed to activate her gate, summoning two walls of earth and stone to come up from the ground and crush her attacker like the jaws of a great white shark. As the walls retreated, she could only stare dumbly at the fine dust that remained of the invader, in a state of complete shock. Before long, an A.G.E.I.S. agent that had been sent after the invader found her and took her back to the head quarters. There, she recovered and learned about her situation.

The orphanage soon received the news that she had been accepted for a "special scholarship" and that she would be attending, and living at, a private academy. In reality, she resided in the A.G.E.I.S. residential buildings and learned the basics of fighting the invaders, and was transfered to the Asia branch to finalize her training and gain experience with other beginners.

Username:[Liquidus Virtus]
Name: Jaeger "Jay" Nogler
Age:16
Height:5'7"
Weight:167 lbs.
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jaeger
Personality:To describe him with a single word one would use the word 'random'. He enjoys making people laugh at any given moment. He is the sort of person that makes others feel better through laughter. Though, that is not what he is always like. At times Jay can be very insensitive and not-caring. He has made his best friends not speak to him for weeks at a time when he was in a bad mood. He is in a good mood most of the time. One of the only times he is in a bad mood is when things twist and aren't in his favor.
Ethnicity:Canadian (Irish descent)
Alignment: Neutral
Gatekeeper of:Blades
Branch of A.E.G.I.S.: American Transfer to Asia
Bio:Born on March 20 in Paisley, Ontario, Canada. His parents being writers, both of them, Jay has not lived in one place for very long. He was born in Canada and soon after he was living in Ireland until he was six years old.

That was when he was discovered his "abilities". He was only six years old at the time and was sitting by himself in his mother's car, waiting for her to come out of the grocery store. An odd looking man aproached the idle vehicle and before Jaeger's eyes the man transformed into an invader and attacked Jay through the car door. Jay fell out and was cornered against the damaged car when he activated his gate, the Gate of Blades. A rather large sword found its way to Jay's hand and was soon cutting the Invader in half.

Soon after that he was found by an agent of A.E.G.I.S., who told his parents of an academy that in America that was interested in having Jay enrolled right away. His parents jumped at the chance of having their son in a private school at absolutely no cost. Again, they were moving across the ocean while his parents were working on a new book and needed new surroundings for inspiration and Jay was going to a new school.

He lived there for ten years and on his sixteenth birthday the school decided to transfer him to Tategami High in Japan. His parent agreed and went along, again for new surroundings. Jaeger thought this was going to be difficult because cannot speak Japanese. He can speak Irish-Gaelic, English, and a small amount of Latin. He mostly speaks Gaelic.
