Well first off congrats on the new bundle of joy. smile He's adorable! I hope labour and delivery went smoothly for you both.
Losing weight after giving birth is a high priority for Western women; we want to have our old bodies back. I remember feeling the same way after my c-section because I just wanted to look like ME again. I read somewhere not too long ago that it can take up to a year for your body to go back to the way it was after a baby, both physically and horemonallly. I wouldnt' worry about trying to lose weight (especially if you've chosen to breastfeed), instead try to enjoy this special time in your son's life. It doesn't last long and every day there's something new going on. Don't miss it by counting calories or bouncing on a treadmill. You can get gentle excersize together by going out for walks on nice days and take care of yourself by sleeping when he sleeps and eating regularly. *hugs* Good luck and congrats again!
