A large brick building stands one the side of the main road of the Kingdom of Eclipse.
Many long banners are strewn from it, each one displaying various Japanese Kanji symbols.
The whole building is designed to look like a small Japanese castle.
The interior is actually a two-part set.
All around the building there are very beautiful works of Japanese artwork.
Many of them depict cherry blossom trees.
The place is very dimly lit, and smooth scented candles are always lit around.
Very soft, romantic music plays from a speaker system to help set the mood.
The first room the visitor enters looks like any normal restaurant.
Those wishing to eat here may just sit down at a table, wait for a waiter, and order what they'd like.
However, if visitors are yearning for something a little more exciting, the second room is just for them.
Going through the back door, the customer is shown a sight never before seen in the Kingdom of Eclipse.
A traditional Japanese Teppenyaki table, just for them and their date.
After taking their seats and ordering, the visitors are presented with a flashy and exciting culinary show by the head chef Maxi.
Flying and flipping knives, bursts of fire, and excellent food are all included in this package for delight.
If one orders the Teppenyaki, they may ask for any kind of food they can think of.
However, in the normal restaurant section, there is a certain menu.

Menu
Rice Bowl
A bowl of plain cooked rice is served with most Japanese meals. Fried egg and/or soy sauce can be added at the visitor's request.
Onigiri
Rice balls made of cooked rice and wrapped in nori seaweed.
Ramen
Chinese style noodles prepared in a soup with various toppings.
Sukiyaki
A nabe dish prepared with thinly sliced meat, vegetables, mushrooms, tofu and shirataki (konyaku noodles). The pieces of food are dipped into a raw egg before eaten.
Tonkatsu
Tonkatsu are deep fried pork cutlets. Our Tonkatsu is usually served with shredded cabbage or on top of cooked rice (katsudon) or with Japanese style curry rice (katsu kare).
Yudofu
Tofu pieces boiled in a clear, mild soup and dipped into a soya based sauce before being eaten.

 LumonLumon floated in, silent at first, as he looked around. Just next to him was his date, Lumi.
There were two rather definite sections of the restaurant, but he would prefer if Lumi chose their place to dine. "This is the place~" If it were possible to swim in clouds, he felt like doing so just then. "Would you like to pick a place for us to sit?"
The place was pleasant and clean, and it certainly smelled good. He could catch the scent of freshly-cooked food from the entrance where they floated.

 LumiLumi looked around shyly at the place.
Wow, it was so romantic...
Looking at a door in the back, she read the sign above it.
"Wh-What's a Teppenyaki...?" She asked softly.
She had no clue what any of this Japanese stuff meant, even though she was Japanese herself.

Lumon"I'm not sure, but I think it's a rather flasy way of cooking. They sort of... make a show of it. I've heard it's quite interesting to watch." The male Lanturn replied calmly.
His antennae flickered in mild curiosity as he floated just next to his companion. He hoped that she would stay, but if she wanted to go elsewhere, he would gladly accompany her.

LumiWow, a show out of cooking food?
That sounded really exciting.
"D-Do you wanna' do that? Cuz' I do if you do..." The female replied shyly.
It was pretty much in her nature to ask for permission for almost everything.

Lumon"I think it's a lovely idea~" Lumon smiled, escorting her up to the counter, and pulling out the chair for her. Last time he had been timid and shy, but he wanted to show her that he could be mature as well. It was very important that he was a gentleman for her; women were to be treated with respect.
As he settled into his own seat, he glanced across the counter, and found himself face to face with a strangely familiar Toxicroak.

 Lumi---&--- MaxiLumi smiled as Lumon showed such gentlemanly qualities.
Evolution really had sparked a change in him.
She floated up into the seat, looking at the Toxicroak behind the counter.
He was twirling a specialized metal spatula in his fingers as he looked at the pair.
"Vat' ya' 'vant me to cook you? I can cook anything," He croaked in a deep voice.
"U-Um... Well, I'd like something vegetarian..." Lumi replied softly.
"Anything is fine..."

LumonLumon blinked in even greater surprise as Maxi spoke; he never had spoken as a Croagunk, not while Lumon was present, anyway.
Quickly and gracefully recovering from his moment of shock, he smiled. "I prefer vegetarian food also, but if there is a particular dish in which you would recommend?" Lumon was willing to try just about anything, as long as it didn't require eating meat. He certainly wasn't about to eat any of his kin, that was for sure.

Lumi---&--- MaxiThe Toxicroak squinted a bit and glanced at both of the fish Pokemon.
Damn indecisiveness.
Seems he'd have to go with his gut here.
The girl was very soft-spoken and shy.
She'd want something subtle, nothing with too much flair.
Fried veggies it was.
Now, for the male, who seemed quite proper, he may want something that looked sophisticated.
Blocks of tofu with brilliant spices that Doku himself had chosen.
Rather than tell them what he would be preparing, he simply nodded to them.
"I know 'vat you 'vant," The Toxicroak said.
He then took a two-pronged fork in one hand and his spatula in the other.
Maxi then proceeded to put on quite an impressive show of silverware technique.
It involved twirling each utensil around each other, tossing them into the air and such, and even tapping a beat on the stove with the spatula while all this happened.
"Wow..." Lumi whispered lightly as she watched in awe.

LumonLumon's antennae glowed slightly, finding the show of skill and dexterity to be both amusing and entertaining. Although he remained silent, he more than quite agreed with Lumi.
This was truly something to watch, and he felt incredibly glad to have invited her out here. Sure, it was a little farther to walk, than to get some ice cream, for example, but it was definitely worth the extra minute or two.
"It certainly smells amazing~" He noted, inhaling deeply with a sigh of satisfaction. Maxi knew what he was doing; he had no doubt.

Lumi---&--- MaxiLumi leaned slightly against Lumon as she watched Maxi continue.
The Toxicroak ended the knife show and smirked.
"Hope none of you have Epilepsy," He explained.
Lumi was just about to question him when he suddenly poured a large amount of oil onto the stove.
Then, he brandished a lighter and lit it, causing a large tower of flames to erupt from the metal surface.
As the flames died away, Maxi scraped away some of the excess junk and began to work.
He started out by dumping a large amount of vegetables onto the hot stove.
The food sizzled as it touched the searing surface.

LumonLumon chuckled quietly at the thought of a Lanturn with epilepsy. "If we were, we'd be in quite the spot of trouble, wouldn't we?" He noted, still amused.
He was taken aback, however, as flames erupted not far from where they sat. He felt a little startled, but soothed his nerves by clutching Lumi's fin, the momentary panic fading swiftly, as he knew them to not be in any danger.
"I certainly wasn't expecting that, if anything~" His voice was still slightly shaky, but the amusement was clear in his tone.

Lumi---&--- MaxiLumi's eyes flickered to Lumon when her fin was tightly clutched, but her attention was quickly redirected again.
Maxi had revealed to slices of an onion.
Carefully, he was taking out each ring and building them up backwards.
Eventually, there were two little peaks next to each other, each made out of onion rings.
The Toxicroak then poured oil into each one.
"Let's cook a Camerupt," He said with a smirk as he took out the lighter again.
Flicking the lighter over each peak, they both began to spit fire from the tops like volcanoes.

LumonLumon smiled at the display, although her had the decency to blush as Lumi glanced at him. He really was quite soft-hearted, and sometime it could be quite embarrassing. This was one of those times.
The male Lanturn gave a gasp of surprise at the volcano-like display before him. Truthfully, he was quite hungry, but this little show was worth waiting for their meal.

Lumi---&--- MaxiMaxi then started to tone down on the flashiness.
The show was meant to entertain for the first few minutes, but now it was time to get to the real cooking.
He mixed up those vegetables he had put onto the stove earlier and started to cute them up.
After that, he revealed the tofu he was going to feed Lumon.
He let the blocks sizzle for a bit before he placed them and some of the veggies on Lumon's plate.
He then put the rest of the veggies on Lumi's plate.
To finish up, he washed the stove by pouring a large amount of water onto his, causing a lot of steam to rise.
The stove cooled off so Maxi could use a towel to whip it of.
"Enjoy your meal," He said before leaving the room.
