i wanna post some pics of cards I make/have but I don't know how to put them on from my files etc.

You don't upload them to Gaia itself. You use another site, like Photobucket, to upload your photos and then post the images from there using the (IMG)(/IMG) tags, replacing the ( ) with [ ].

For example, (IMG)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/WillRennar/DBfail.jpg(/IMG) with the correct brackets will get this:
