The sounds of roaring engines broke through the quiet town of Kalm. Random people from the town just narrowly missing being hit by the speeding motorbike that came to a skidding stop,almost doing a wheelie as it spun in a circle, white smoke coming from the tires before it was completely steel.

"This is to much fun!" Kadaj slipped out the key, and put them into his pocket, before picking up Sephriea and helping her down.


"Well, Let's see here..Who here looks like a smart scientist? " His mako-green blues gazing upon every person in the town that only watched the man in horror. "Speak up now. Which of you worked for ShinRa? If you don't.. There will be bloodshed. " He smiled, laughing again..

With no answer, Kadaj sighed. "Alright." As he turned away, he lifted up his arm toward the entrance of Kalm. A massive amount of fire suddenly striking down the entrance way, blocking it from anyone getting in, or out. "You will watch you're peaceful town burn in flames, If you do not give me the information we require. "


He walked over to a small child that was frozen in fear, and picked it up. Before the little boy knew what was happening, he had Souba dragging across the child's neck. "I'm sure this is painful..I can make it worse, or I can stop. The childs life is on you're hands. TELL ME. " He demanded.

Soon enough, a pair of older men came out of there homes, putting up there hands. "We are the men you seek, Now let the child go. "

"Good. Now, tell me everything about the Cure of Jenova cells. And tell me.. How to make a antidote to it. My sister and I have had mother taken from us..We want her back. "

"Antidote?" the men looked at each other, a look of terror passing between them,"We haven't made an antidote...it is an antidote...The lifestream cells only infect Jenova cells, and take them over, curing Geostigma...why would you want to counteract that? Unless...you're related to that young woman...Kaether..."

Kadaj's eyes only set on the cloaked figure for just a moment, before turning back to the scientists. He stepped closer to the paticular man he was speaking with, giving him a cold glare while he held the child still. "That I am. I should kill you where you stand, but, I'm willing to let you live, if you start on making that antidote to counteract it. " To him, counteracting the Cure, would be the antidote.

"Now, the question is, Will you do it?"

Sephriea ran over to stand beside Kadaj, holding onto his leg with one arm while she watched them..She really hoped they didn't do anything stupid, in the state Kadaj was in, he would of killed anyone or anything.

"But....that's impossible!" the man backed away, unsure of what the silver-haired man would do,"We would have to find a way for the Jenova cells to overpower the Lifestream cells!"

The figure freezes as the bike speedes off, before looking towards the flame wall. he reach's into an over large pocket, pulling out his helmet, and then putting it on, the hood dropping down to reveal his long, silver hair, almost exactly the same as kadaj's. he wasnt anything like that man. killing an innoccent child for no reason... it was senseless, it was stupid, it was... infuriating! he walks towards the fire wall as the people all either gawk at the body or at the seemingly suicidale figure, wearing a helmet made of something they hadnt seen, not able to see the full armor under it. he pauses in front of the fire, looking at it for a moment, then takes out one of the materia, a fire this time. so, this thing controlled fire... interesting. he pockets it before stepping right into the flames, and walking the few steps until he comes out, cloak on fire, making him look quite like a flaming spectre of impending doom, which he was. his rage was cold and calculating, and utterly focused. the man had murdered a defenseless child for no sensible reason. therefore, he would repent... with his own lifes blood. the man would die. he didnt care if the man was revived, he had to be killed before the figure would feel his sins had been expunged. he wasnt normally like this, and actually, the only way to get him into this mindset was to do exactly what that man had done.

Kaether couldn't sense Kadaj the way she had before, though her attention wasn't on her brother, it was on the fire that he had left in Kalm. She ran toward the blaze, and activated her enemy skill, the yellow materia glowing in her arm, "Aqualung." She then breathed huge bubbles of water that put out the flames, before turning her attention to the crowd that scattered at the sight of yet another silver-haired person. She noticed the child who was laying in a puddle of blood, her first instinct demanding that she helped.

She stopped when she saw the twin cuts that had sliced the child's throat open,"....Kadaj...." Even if it was against her brother's wishes, the yellow materia lit up again,"Angel whisper." The child would not only be revived, but fully healed and healthier than before. It was only then, that she turned toward where her brother had gone.
