Past RoleplayQuote: Sayuri_Nitta Silvamord sniffed the air, her ears twitching at the same time. This was the first time she had found herself in this area, she was young to be wandering this far, but want of company and fresh game had sent her travelling. Her nose took her to a tree, marked by wolves many times and too many to discern the number of. She moved on, paws crunching leaves as she went. Stealth was out - if she was outnumbered there wasnt much she could do. She continued to move, weaving in and out of brush and tree, searching for her kind. Sayuri_Nitta Silvamord pulled up abruptly. The scent had intensified - there were wolves and they were close. Her tail lowered and she went on with caution. shia-san soul picked up the scent of pup. she desided to greet them. she began to slowly howl up to the sky. she wanted it to again trace across the woods. Sayuri_Nitta Silvamords hackles rose a little as the howl echoed through the trees above her. She tilted her head, opening her mouth and letting loose a keening howl. She followed it, and in time found herself actually looking at one of the wolves she had scented. She sat on her haunches a moment, panting, and watching in indescision. shia-san soul to sat. she was not tired, but just felt it was right to sit. she looked and sniffed at the pup. then stood and walked around to sniff the pup more. she then finally finished her inspection and sat infront of the black wolf. she barked happily as she licked her nose Sayuri_Nitta Silva cowered a little during this inspection by the older wolf, her tail down almost between her hind legs and her ears flat back. When the older female had moved back a little, she whined softly, not willing to speak yet and carefully sniffed the other wolf in return. shia-san soul allowed the pup to sniff her. she then got up and wagged her tail. she looked at the pup again. Sayuri_Nitta Silva's tail thumped the ground a little. This one seemed no threat. 'Who you?' she managed to say. shia-san soul smiled i am soul. and you? soul's tail also swished her tail. Sayuri_Nitta 'Silvamord,' came the reply. She stood, padding around. 'More wolves here? Or just you?' JadeEye Notoka crawls out of his den and stretches, wiggling the toes of his paws in the warm dirt. His gaze drifts casually towards Soul, who he knows and then the grey wolf, which he's never seen. shia-san there are many more wolves here. such as a male. he lives in a cave around here. soul smiled nice to meet you silvamordthen soul saw notoka. she smiled as she looked at him. Sayuri_Nitta Silva's ears went back, she took fright at the sight of another strange wolf and her courage broke. She retreated, her tail tucked between her back legs and she sought a place to hide for the night. Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Silvamord's nose poked out from under the leaf litter at the foot of a tree she had curled under. She stood, shaking the leaves from her coat and scenting the air. As of now, all she could smell were the fading scents of wolves that had been around during the night and the musty, dampness of the woods. She stretched, her mouth opening wide as she yawned, then left the safety of the tree-line. shia-san soul had just awoken from her perch in bushes. it was cramp but it kept her safe. or atleast she thought. she stretched out and yawned, then she stood and sniffed around. the smells of tam and notoka were now just disappearing as the forests smells circled around her nose. she decided it was food time. which was all the time for her but she was still hungry. Sayuri_Nitta Silva smacked her lips, ears twitching all the time. She was sure she had heard something but it had not been loud enough or lasted enough for her to work out what it had been. She scented the air again, the smell of water pulled her onwards and she travelled, padding across the ground until she found a largish trough in the ground that had filled with rainwater. She looked around before lowering her muzzle and lapping at the water. shia-san soul was still sniffing the ground. she was not wagging her tail, or grinning happily, it was way to early for her to wake up so she was not a happy wolf. she snarled at small bugs that she could some what see and she snapped at squirrel's. this was not one of her special days. she ventured untill she reached some bushes as she crouched and peered through. there stood silvamord. her attitude changed as her tail raised. she continued to watch down wind shia-san soul continued to watch her when a slight scent was sucked into her nose. her head raised as her ears twitched to hear something. she then stood. and peered at silvamord again. Sayuri_Nitta Ears still twitched as she slaked her thirst; across the water something caught her attention. A rabbit had appeared - seemingly from nowhere - its small brown body was pressed flat, and as she lowered herself down to watch it suddenly lolloped forward, then paused, standing on hind legs and listening with upright ears. Silva scooted on her belly, skirting the water, sliding through the long grass. The rabbit stayed where it was - and she seized her chance, leaping out of her cover and trying to bring it down. The rabbit saw her, jerked into the air and ran off, but as she pelted after it she noticed it was favouring a leg and was even now slowing. As her jaws closed around its neck it screamed a death cry. Then it hung limply from her jaws. Her tail lifted, wagging slightly at her luck. shia-san soul peered at silvamord more. she watched her hunting skills. she was now more excited then ever. she then got bored which was normale for her and desided to go follow the scent she had cought on to a little while ago. she howled alittle as she continued to stick her nose into the mushy ground. Sayuri_Nitta Silvamord's head snapped up as a howl sounded, her nose coated in warm rabbit's blood. She licked it off, sniffing. Another wolf had been near and as the wind shifted slightly she realised that it smelt alot like Soul, the female she had met before. She picked the rabbit carcass up and padded after her, hoping to find Soul - or the other wolf she had been howling to. shia-san soul stoped and turned quickly, the scent of silvamord was closer. she moved back toward her. something also smelled of rabbit. which made her very hungry. Sayuri_Nitta Silvamord dropped the rabbit, shaking off fur that stuck to her nose. She regarded Soul quietly, then lowered a little, tearing into the side of the rabbit, nose in the still warm flesh, tearing off strips of meat. shia-san souls tail swished side by side as she watched the pup eat. she smiled as she yawned again. Sayuri_Nitta Silva stepped away from the torn up rabbit. Her small stomach was now round, and rather then eat till she was bursting she had left some. 'Want?' she said simply to Soul, backing away a little and sitting on her haunches. shia-san souls tounge lolled out as she nodded yes! soul dug into the meat ripping into its tender skin. she then licked her muzzle and dug in again. she manged to say thank you shia-san soul had finished to meat as she licked her muzzle again. then she turned and spoke to silvamord want to come? her tail wagging she walked toward were isaac was. she felt bad that she left him so when she got to him, her ears were pinned back and her tail some what curled under her... Sayuri_Nitta Silva cleaned herself somewhat, turning and biting at her her lower back. She turned back, cocking an ear at Soul and then she lay down, back legs stretched out. shia-san soul sighed as she sat by a tree were isaac was. she looked back to not see silvamord she agian sighed. Sayuri_Nitta Silva rolled on her back, twisting and rubbing in the dirt. She rolled over onto her paws again suddenly and shook herself. After a good scratch behind one ear, she padded back over to Soul, sniffing at her then regarding the male with caution. shia-san soul stood straight up as she slowly went into the cave. her head popped in as she stared at isaac. isaac its me? soul!? she then looked back at silvamord. Reivan A soft whine was heard from somewhere deep inside the cave, then a slightly echoed whisper, "Are.. Are they out there..?" the last word almost a whine itself. shia-san soul looked out then back into the cave only a pup. and i. thats all who is out here... her voice was calm for she did not want to scare him any more Sayuri_Nitta Silvamord had watched as the male entered the cave rapidly. She pricked up her ears at his question, wondering who 'they' were that he was referring to. Reivan "What, but.. Where are they then?" he demanded fearfully. "And which pup? ..Did they bring her?" shia-san soul was now confused. she cocked her head to the side. who are they? isaac who are you talking about? and its a pup i meet yesterday or so. she was confused. Sayuri_Nitta 'I bought myself..' she said, in her sharp little barking voice. 'I came alone.' Reivan "Who??" he repeated, like the echo of the cave. "They were here just now! Couldn't you.. smell them even? The stink.." he shuddered where he hid. "Whuh- Was that the pup?" Sayuri_Nitta Silva was growing tired of this. 'I am Silvamord.' she said, a small growl to her voice. 'I am alone - and I certainly do not smell. What is wrong with you that you cant see that I am only a young wolf.' Reivan Isaac couldn't see or smell the pup from where he was. She didn't like the impatience in her tone though, and she didn't seem to understand the danger. "Silvamord? ..Sounds like a name from a.. two-leg, to me. Where.. Where did you get it then if not from them?" shia-san soul sighed. she did not get her name from them. soul turned and began to walk out. she was not liking what isaac was doing. she just wanted to talk with him. not about the two-legged ones, but about nothing. Sayuri_Nitta 'Its my given name - i dont question it, the same way I dont question water from above or the smell of freshly killed meat.' she tilted her head. Sayuri_Nitta Silva had curled up at the entrance to the cave, head on paws and tail curled around herself. She half-listened, the walls of the cave amplified what they said and it wasnt hard to hear. JadeEye Notoka flattens his ears back and lets a small snarl escape his throat, offended and hurt by all the cold shoulders he's been getting recently. I was CONCERNED but forgive me for dare attempting to make friends with you all. I was never really welcome here anyways, I can see that. He leaves the entrance of the cave and moves to his own and begins to dig, throwing dirt back into the mouth of the cave so it fills up partially. Once his muscles begin to tire, he stops, turns on a paw and disappears in the opposite direction. Sayuri_Nitta Silva listened quietly, then stood. She went over to the pile of soft earth that the other male had dug up, sniffing it and touching it with a paw. Some of it crumbled, falling down a little, and she whined softly, hoping to catch his attention. JadeEye Notoka ran. He had no where to really go but he wouldn't be going back to -them- unless they chose to accept him. He was a black sheep...why would they accept him? He has the foul-stench of two-leg on him and they all know it and hate him for it, even if these two-legs are kind and wouldn't hurt any of them. He was stupid for even THINKING they would like him. Sayuri_Nitta Silvamord touched the ground with her nose, he had sped off too fast for her whine to get his attention. She followed his scent, wondering why it was mixed up with something unfamiliar. She padded along, her paws touching the earth lightly as she covered ground swiftly. She paused, his scent was confused now, mixed up with others but she continued to search, occasionally pausing to bark, hoping that he would hear and stop. JadeEye Soon the quivering of his muscles from anger and exhaustion catch up with him and he's forced to slow his running into a face paced walk and then eventually to a stop. He stares at the scenery that is so unfamiliar now and it scares him a little...but what could he do? Again his hurt and anger take hold of him again and he lifts his head in an anguished howl, ears pressed back against his skull and claws sinking into the dirt. All I have now are those two-legs he says bitterly to himself. I wish they would have just killed me instead of letting me go. It would have saved me trouble in the end.Sayuri_Nitta The howl echoed around her, going through her nose to claws and she shuddered a little. She found herself lifting her muzzle, opening her mouth and howling in unison, before taking to her paws again and heading in the direction of the howl. The scent became stronger again and she sped up. JadeEye The tone of the responding howl is once he's never heard before, which makes him tense again. Who could THAT be. Certainly not Isaac...too feminine and young to be him and besides, like he'd care enough to follow. Not Soul either, I'm sure. She's too busy fawning over him like he's a day old pup, he snarls. What does it matter anyway.Notoka moves again, looking for a decent place for shelter for the night. The ground here is too hard and stony for a proper den but fallen logs will work...just have to find the right place. He'd be stuck here awhile, most likley. An image of the two-leg's den flashes in his mind but he quickly dismisses the very idea. Never. He was not some common dog who would lay at their feet....he was wild...fierce...but also alone. He snarls viciously and scrabbles at the hard dirt with frustration. Sayuri_Nitta Silva finally found him, watching him quietly from a distance. She looked around a long time, her ears twitching, her nose scenting the air constantly. She approached him slowly, stopping when she was mere yards from him and she gave a yip to alert him to her presence. JadeEye Notoka spins about immediately at the yip, ears pulling forward aggressively and bristling before his right mind returns and he realizes who it is. Oh... he says in a bland manner. What do you want? He hunches and tries to dig again but his claws skip over large stones and tree roots, which fuels his irritation. As another howl drifts forward, he digs with more fervor, determined not to acknowledge the fact he heard it. Sayuri_Nitta Silva cowered a little as he turned on her. She tip-pawed forward slowly, sniffing him. 'To greet you.' she said simply. 'I havent seen to many wolves since I wandered into this area.' JadeEye To greet me, he says in a harsh whisper before adding a choking yip laugh. No one would want to do that. I'm "the two-leg lover" and a danger to you all. The last sentence is said with a thick layer of sarcasm-tinged frustration. He stops his attempt at digging, having gotten no where, and flops down in leaves, laying his head across his forelegs. Sayuri_Nitta She moved forward, running her nose over his head. 'Two-legged?' her tongue rolled the strange sounding words around. 'What is that?' JadeEye He lifts his brows in a slightly incredulous manner but doesn't look at her. Two-legs...they walk upright like a bird but have odd paws and legs where wings would be that let them do impossible things that no wolf could do. They call themselves...hoomans...or something of that nature.Sayuri_Nitta Confusion rolled off her, so strong it could probably be smelt. 'I have never seen the things you speak of.' she scratched idly at the ground. 'What is wrong with these two legs that make you a danger?' JadeEye Apparently foreign ones killed the wolf packs here...that's why there are no adults. I came from one of the packs and so did many others. One of the native packs of two-legs saved me though and so I visit them sometimes...but the rest don't like it and are sure I'm going to get us all killed. He whimpers and shifts his head on his paws, his gaze hardening now. I'm not stupid....but they all seem to think so. Sayuri_Nitta She pressed her nose against his side softly. For some reason whatever bothered the others about this one didnt faze her. Maybe because she was ignorant of what the two-legs could do, but she wanted to get to know this confusing smelling pup. 'What are you called? I am Silvamord.' JadeEye Notoka, he replies, shifting slightly at being nosed, feeling horrid now. He shouldn't have ran, but he was so mad and hurt that it had seemed like a good answer...now he didn't have anywhere to sleep and he would be alone when Silva left...he was so tired of being alone. You probably should go...they'll hate you too for just talking to me. Sayuri_Nitta 'A good name,' she sat by him, looking around. 'You're not sleeping here? Its terribly exposed.' she ignored his warning; what did she care of the opinion of wolves she barely knew? JadeEye Don't have a choice, he responds lamely. I ruined my den. Okay, well not really ruined...it's fixable, but still. Sayuri_Nitta 'I can help you fix it?' she asked, stretching a little. 'You really shouldnt stay out here. Not alone anyways.' JadeEye If I go back, I'm never speaking to Soul or Isaac again, he mutters, then lifts his head and moves into a sitting position. I guess you're right....but....I don't like the idea. Sayuri_Nitta She stood, her tail lifting in a half-wag. 'You dont have to - you could just talk to me?' she cocked her head at him. 'Dont give up a safe retreat because of other wolves.' JadeEye After a long pause, he finally gets to his paws. All right, he huffs, flicking his ears forward. Lets go back then.Sayuri_Nitta She shook herself, then started off, padding over her own scent trail so that she didnt lose her way, occasionally looking at Notoka as they ran. He had travelled a fair way in his flight, and it took a little while before she recognised the terrain again. She scented the air; Isaac and Soul were still around somewhere but didnt seem to be in the vicinity of the shelters. She stopped by the mound of earth. JadeEye Notoka follows wordlessly, following the path that he never realized he took because he was so blinded by rage. Once upon his den, he sighs and comes to a stop. What a mess.Sayuri_Nitta She began scratching the earth away, pushing it one side. 'I'm sure its fixable - you only dug earth into the entrance.' JadeEye Notoka starts digging to and putting the dirt back at the sides of the entrance, packing it down a little with his forepaws while Silvamord shoves more out. The top of the hole is a little caved in but otherwise it's pretty much intact. Sayuri_Nitta Silva squeezed past Notoka, standing outside the entrance and shaking mud from her fur. She lifted a paw up. 'Muddy paws.' she panted a little. 'But see - its okay.' JadeEye He surveys the repairs mutely, tail hanging limp. It looks alright, he says grudgingly. Thanks for the help.Sayuri_Nitta 'You are welcome.' she sniffed the air. 'Well I guess I should move on ...find my own place.' her tail drooped again. 'Hopefully before it rains or anything.' she tilted her head up to the sky. JadeEye ...You can share mine for now, if you like, he offers...afterall, she was kind to him and should return the gesture accordingly. I need a nap.He noses Silva's shoulder to emphasize his point before disappearing into his den. Sayuri_Nitta Her tail lifted and wagged when he made his offer and she smiled, showing her teeth. 'Thank you.' she said softly, as he entered the den. She sat outside, as if guarding it, watching the wind play with the leaves.

Past RoleplayQuote: Reivan Isaac caught sight of Nokota's tail disappearing into the den as he lifted his head. He saw that the other pup which had been around earlier was still sitting there though and tentatively stepped out from behind the rocks. He held his tail low, his ears perked towards her, wondering how she would react to him. Sayuri_Nitta Her head snapped round as the wind bought the scent of the male - Isaac - that was what Notoka had referred to him as. The fur on her back lifted slightly and her tail went between her legs. She warily watched him approach. Reivan He walked a half-circle round her, so that the pup and their den were between him and his cave. He then drew slightly closer, eyes fixed on hers. He let out a soft whine and asked, "Is he.. alright?" Sayuri_Nitta 'He is ..' how could she explain? She barely knew Notoka really but she answered anyway. 'I think alright but hurting.' She looked at Isaac. 'He said that other's disliked him for his past deeds.' Reivan Isaac tilted his head slightly. "I've not seen any wolf show him disrespect because of past deeds. I've never even spoken to him properly, i've no idea of his past, so i certainly hope i'm not included in these 'others'. All i've heard is that he.. took a bunch of pups to where some two-legs were once.. They were apparently given food. But they'd followed him willingly. Even Nyx went.." he snorted lightly and looked over to the den which still looked a little crumpled. "He sure knows how to throw a strop, that's one thing." Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Silva had curled up just inside the cave entrance, the sound of the rain lulling her into a doze. Her eyes were a little heavy and she yawned. She was glad Notoka had allowed her to stay - this was not a night to cower under a bush for shelter. Sayuri_Nitta Silva's ears twitched slightly - she thought she heard someone moving around, but the weather made her reluctant to leave the relatively cosy cave. She sniffed the air, damp was all she could smell. Otsune Sound was all drowned out in this storm. Leradien continued to walk, now in the middle of the clearing. Sayuri_Nitta The smell was all she could get right now and she stretched, leaving the shelter of the cave with reluctance, trotting out, the rain running down her fur. She moved her head this way and that, straining to hear the other wolf. Otsune Leradien's ears swiveled back, picking up sounds from behind. From the back she heard a CRUNCH. She quickly lifted her tail and head, her heart and head pounding. Her eyes wide she flung her head over her shoulder. The hair on her neck bristling, her tail reised, a deep growl emminating from her throat. Then she head another sound, from her side. An ambush? Had she wandered into another's territory? Sayuri_Nitta Silva cleared the brush, emerging into the clearing, her ears back slightly. Her tail was neither raised nor lowered, and she watched the newcomer warily. Otsune Lera's ears swiveled to her right, her eyes wide, pupils dialated. One of the wolves had emerge from hiding. Her nostrils flares and her lips drew back. Salaiva dripped from her mouth, fangs bright in the dark of day. The hair on her nape standing on end. She had a wild look in her eye she most certainly look like a wild beast, ready to defend herself, regardless if she was just a pup. JadeEye Notoka awakens from his nap feeling a bit foolish but a lot better. The ground where Silv was lying has a distinct look of having been laid in, so he knows she was there at some point and her scent in the den is still strong. He sighs and stretches his forelegs before scrabbling out of his den and standing just outside it. Sayuri_Nitta 'Gonna attack?' she asked the strange wolf. 'I not attack you.' she said simply, staying at a distance. 'New here too.' Otsune "Another one?!" she thought. Great, now there were three wolves around her. But then, the darker wolf spoke. But she spoke simply. It wmust be either that this wolf thought that Lera was stupid, or had a speech impairment. She snorted. They both seemed calm enough, and Lera was definatly in no condition to start a fight. But these wolves couldn't be trusted, they were just like the foxes and bears in the wood. Dangerous. Her muscles that were tense loosened a bit, and her lips relaxed...a bit. Still in a rather nasty snark she now had a calmer feeling. She walked towards the wolves, tail still up, and ears still forward. She wanted to know if these wolves belonged in this space, if so, she would likely be beaten up sooner or later. Might as well defend yourself from the start. Sayuri_Nitta She sniffed the air, taking in the scent of the female, her muscles tensed in case flight or fight was needed. 'What are you called?' she asked. JadeEye Where are they all COMING from, Notoka mutters to himself, spying this new wolf. At first he is indifferent and passive about this one until she acts a bit more hostile than he would have thought. When she starts advancing, he pads beside Silv and pulls his ears forward and a snarl forms on his muzzle in warning. He makes no move to attack her though...he stands his ground. Otsune Thoughts raced quickly in her head, trying to remember her elder's teachings. Lera felt horendously dizzy. Hunger was knawing away at her, her travels made her weak. The other wolf then stepped forward, standing his ground. Overcome with too many ailments her instincts burst through, unrational ones, mind you. Her young body, and young mind could not take so much pressure. She took it as a threat. Teeth beared she continued her advance, slowly, and wearily. JadeEye Notoka's neck fur bristles and his tail arches up over his back, making it clear he's growing tired of this strange wolf's hostility but he still doesn't move forward. He wants to avoid a fight if necessary but if this continues, he'll have to defend himself and things could get ugly. I suggest you calm yourself, he manages to say in as level of a tone as he can muster. We aren't going to harm you if you don't harm us.Sayuri_Nitta Silva turned to Notoka, pressing her nose against his flank. 'She smells ill - scared.' she yawned. 'You okay alone? I am tired.' Otsune She slowly continued her walk, her lips lowered yet her ears were still forward and her tail was still up. Her eyes glared. But Silva was indeed correct. About 15 feet away from the two strange wolves her body cringed, shivvering. Her body, under pressure, gave in. Stinging bile found it's way up her throat, and she vommited. Her eyes had a ghastly dazed look. she took a few steps forward, her body shuddered, and she blacked out, suddenly collapsing on the ground. Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Silva uncurled, yawning and stretching. She felt as if she had slept a very long time and she turned, biting an itch on the lower part of her back before slinking out of the cave and shaking herself. She sniffed the air cautiously. Somewhere was the female called Soul, and there were strange scents - wolves she had not met, lingering on the air. She padded off in the direction of water to slake her thirst. shia-san soul then could smell silva, somewere around here. she peered back at the pups and with a quick grin was off to find her. Sayuri_Nitta Silva padded along, nose to the ground eventually locating a small creek at the bottom of a little hill. She travelled down, stopped and drinking as the damp mud oozed between her paws. Thirst quenched she looked around, hoping to spy something small, warm and furry to eat. shia-san soul spoted silvamord and barked. "hi!" Sayuri_Nitta Silva whirled around in surprise, her hackles raising before she registered who it was. She went over to Soul, sniffing her in greeting. 'Hello.' shia-san soul was more calm now but was still hungry. she sniffed silva again then ran to the water and splashed in it Sayuri_Nitta Silva sniffed the air, an acrid scent coming to her. She followed it, hopping over the water and went over to some thick undergrowth. Scrabbling around the smell became stronger and she finally unearthed a small deer carcass, partially eaten. She dragged it out, pawing at it and tasted some of the meat. It was good. shia-san soul looked over to her. she ran over but did not take any. she then sniffed it then ran back to the water and rolled in it making her wet Sayuri_Nitta Silva dragged the carcass towards Soul. 'Share?' she asked simply, looking at her before tearing into the flank of the deer. shia-san soul yiped happily as she to bite into the meat Quote: JadeEye Notoka was in the stream up to his belly, watching some fish that he had been attempting to catch for almost an hour now. He was wet from head to tail from the repeated divings, plus streaks of mud were attached to his coat here and there. Sayuri_Nitta Silva watched Notoka quietly from a little way off, then whined a little, yawning as her belly grumbled with hunger JadeEye Notoka darts forward unexpectantly, his head going under the water for a brief instant before he again surfaces, holding a long shimmering fish in his jaws. It was quite a prize for him, considering the size made it difficult for him to stagger back to shore. Once there, he heard a whimper and looked about for the source. Before he can find that, Lera's howl reaches his ears. He tossed the fish away from the stream and answered the howl, giving his approximate location, before again searching for the source of whimpers. Oh, hello Silva, he says, noticing the grey wolf not to far away. I didn't know you were watching.Sayuri_Nitta Silva padded over to Notoka, sniffing him and then licking at the fur on his neck. 'Mucky,' she grinned, showing her teeth in a friendly way. JadeEye He whimpers with embarrassment and flicks his ears back a tad. I'm not the most graceful wolf when I'm fishing, he says with slight amusement, tilting his head to the side. Want some? It's big enough for both of us, I think. He pads over to his flopping fish and picks it up again near the gills before biting as hard as he can to decapitate it. Sayuri_Nitta She nodded gratefully, going to the tail end of the fish and scraping scales off, they scattered over the ground, and she managed to expose the soft underflesh. 'Thank you,' she said softly, before biting into it Otsune Lera stood still as she heard the howl. Her ears swiveled 'round to catch the sound, and then deciding on a direction she bounded off. She leaped through the wood, running as quickly as she could. Lera didn't like being alone without her friends, it made her feel uneasy and defenseless, just as it did the first night she met Notoka. She slowed at the bank drop, and then shuffling down it clumsily. Taking a breath Lera noticed that Silvamord was there as well. She couldn't ask Notoka now. She would have to wait... She smiled and padded up to her friends. "Hello!" she grinned. She looked at Notoka with a cocked brow...he was wet and muddy all over. JadeEye Notoka lets Silva eat what she wants from it since he's not horribly hungry...the fishing was done more out of boredom than need...and sits back on his haunches to wait for Lera. Once the other female arrives, he barks in greetings and wags his tail. Hello Lera.Sayuri_Nitta Silva licked her mouth clean, shaking herself as she moved back from the fish carcass. She had ate enough and most of the fish was still there. She turned at the approach of another, going over to her and sniffing her in greeting. JadeEye When Silva leaves the fish, he takes her place and finishes off another portion of it before looking to Lera as he licks his chops. You can have the rest, if you like.Otsune Lera nodded to both Notoka and Silva in greeting, accepting the sniff gracefully. "Fishing, eh?" she commented, giving Notoka a silly look. It was unusual for wolves to fish... she thought to herself. "No thank you," she responds, "I'm not hungry as of present, but thank you for offering." She nods once more. JadeEye Notoka again looks somewhat embarrassed. I was bored, okay? he says with mock-severity as he moves into a play bow position. Sayuri_Nitta Silva finished sniffing Lera, then padded away a little, flopping onto the ground before rolling over on her back and rubbing. She made a yowlp noise, then lay down on her side, her tail thumping the ground. Otsune She stuck her tongue out and grinned, squinting, before leaping on Notoka in a playful manner. It had been a long time since she had play-wreseled. Everything seemed so serious, since there were no adults to look after the pups. They had to fend for themselves and became jaded and weathered. Lera knew the next generation would not be as serious as their predecessors. She growled playfully and tugged at Notoka's ear. Sayuri_Nitta Silva watched as Lera bowled Notoka over; she growled softly, and then got into a crouch position, her hindquarters wiggling as she decided whether to join in or not. JadeEye Notoka yelps as he's tackled and rolls with Lera, trying to dislodge her from his ears. Ooh, you're a fast one he says while trying to nab a hold on her tail. He then tries to get them to roll again towards Silva. It had been awhile since he played with anyone as well...and certainly not with anyone here. Sayuri_Nitta Silva's tongue poked out of her mouth, and her ears went flat as she wriggled some more then pounced onto them both, softly tugging on Lera's scruff as her tail wagged. Otsune Lera's tail wagged viciously as she rolled around in the little 'wolf pile. ' Then she felt it lodge into Notoka's mouth. She barked and yipped as she rolled, grabbing Notoka's tail as well. Just then she felt Silva join in! Piled under fur and paws she let go of Notoka's tail and playfully grabbed Silva wrist in her mouth, being careful not to bite down. This was an extrodinarily happy time for her. Sayuri_Nitta Silva yelped a little, rolled and wriggled a little so that she got loose. She bowled them both over and then laughed, barking softly. Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Silva yawned, uncurling and stretching. She had obviously been more full then she thought to doze off like that and especially in the open. Notoka and the other female had not long left however - their scent hung strong and she got to her paws, following swiftly. She hesitated in her path as another scent assailed her nostrils. It was very different, many new aromas rolled into one but she could smell Notoka and the other wolf still which lend courage to her steps. She pads over to them, her eyes widening at the strange creature that stood near to them. She pushed her nose gently into Notoka's side. JadeEye He jumps at Silva's prod, nearly flying onto the two-leg pup's foot. Gah, Silva... he wheezes, shaking himself trying to play off his startlement. The two-leg pup again whimpers at the appearance of another wolf but she's suddenly joined by another pup, only this one slightly older than the first. This one is male and looks at the wolves with a somewhat defiant expression, though he's not much bigger than the wolves themselves. Sayuri_Nitta She grinned, then licked him to say sorry. Her muzzle wrinkled at the smells coming from the small two-legged creatures, and she shuffled her paws uncertainly, scratching the earth a little. She radiated confusion and asked quietly; 'Why we here?' Otsune Lera did not notice Silva, she was solemly focused on the smaller human pup. She still appraoched slowly and sniffed the creatures belly. A rush or new scents filled her nose. She look at the creature, it seemed terrified. Lera licked her elbow. Then she noticed another human pup, this one seemed bigger and had a harder face. Lera stood her ground, enthralled by these interesting creatures. She heard Notoka warn her and in distress lera took a few steps backwards. The human had not touched her... she had touch it...what had she done?! JadeEye Because Lera wanted to see them, he answers Silva, his tone troubled. He had seen Lera lick the girl's arm and thought that maybe that was not such a good idea. The girl jerks her arm away and the boy steps in front of her, shielding her with his body. He says something to the wolves in a firm and slightly angry tone, then waves his hands at Lera. Before anything else happens, the ever-familiar two-leg adult steps around the above-ground den and jerks the two children away from the three wolves. Sayuri_Nitta Silva growled, hackles raising slightly. Feelings had become tense, she could tell from the scents battering her senses. She whined, feeling afraid. 'We leave?' she muttered, her tail low. Otsune Lera was startled by the child's wave, he was brave. But then a much larger two legged appeard. He was humungous! Thoughts ran through Lera's head, about how she shouldn't show them she was afraid. Her lips moved up ina a snarl. Her eyes narrowed and her tail went up. Her ears swiveled forward. Lera wasn't sure how to react to this situation. JadeEye You shouldn't have touched it, Lera Notoka says with a whine, staring at the man before him with a quickly narrowing glare. The pup growls as well and basically mimics Lera's response, only he keeps his wits about him. We better go. Silva's right. The adult two-leg turns around, having moving the young ones away out of sight, and crosses his arms across his chest. Notoka feels somewhat odd now, having been growling at this two-leg, but feeling guilty as well. His thing saved him from the evil two-legs...why was he being mean? Sayuri_Nitta Silva backed away, uncertainty still radiating from her. She swung her head back and forth, from the other pups to the really big two-legged 'thing' and back again. She licked her lips and waited for the other two to move away. Otsune Lera's front legs twitched. Her paws were planted where they were. This...was a stand off. Her chest burned and her eyes narrowed. She put one paw forward, as in a 'half - step'. Behind her she heard Notoka's warning...they should leave, Lera wanted to leave...but...she couldn't. She felt as if her legs were burried in stomach-high mud. JadeEye Don't hurt him. Notoka says suddenly, with considerably force behind it. It wasn't right to hurt the two-leg who helped him and the man wasn't doing anything to them. The two-leg stares right back at the wolves, hardly moving from where he stands. Otsune Lera rushed forward about to snap at the two-legged's ankle when she suddenly heard Notoka's voice. She stopped short, snapping at hair. One of her ears flipped back to acknowladge what he said. She wouldn't hurt the human, she would only to to intimidate it as much as possible. JadeEye Notoka dives in front of Lera, his eyes blazing now, hoping to block her snap but relieved that she missed even though he was slow. Don't. His voice is firm yet level. Sayuri_Nitta Silva muttered something. 'Moon crazed,' she mumbled - amongst the scents she smelled from the two-legs lair was the scent of death - animal death. Who knew what they could do if they decided that the wolves were trespassing - a danger to their own whelps? Otsune Lera's snarl dropped. Her breathing was heavy, her eyes still narrowed. There was no thought in her head, she was wordless. She looked up to the two legged, glaring. Her chest heaved in breaths. Then, suddenly, all her emotions hit her mind like a buck's charge. She felt ashamed that she had almost bitten one that Notoka wanted to protect, and felt even worse that she had almost bitten Notoka himself. She gritted her teeth in pain. Leradien glared at the humans one more time before turning, past Silva, and walking off. Her walk turned into a run as she dashed up the hill. JadeEye Notoka snorts as Lera runs and feels compelled to follow, to make sure she's okay. He nudges Silva's shoulder before darting after Lera, his tail waving high in the air. Sayuri_Nitta Silva turned tail as the others ran off, Lera followed by Notoka. She ran, feeling the stretch of her muscles, relief filling her as they put distance between themselves and the two-legged territory. Otsune Lera slowed as she met the woods. She trembled as she laid down by a large rock. She wans't scared, or sad, it was more of anxiety and confusion. It was a rush of different feelings that it made her stomach do flips inside her. She looked back, Notoka and Silva had not reached the woods yet, she must have run faster than she thought... JadeEye After a few minutes, Notoka's head appears from behind the trees and he slows to a walk, ears canted forward with concern. You alright?Sayuri_Nitta Silva panted as she caught up with Notoka and Lera, flopping a little as she eyed the female. 'Why did you touch the two-leg?' she asked, an ear cocked. Otsune Lera stood on her shakey legs. "I'm fine," she lied looking to Notoka. As Silva arrived and questioned her, Lera responded: "I don't know..." her voice trailing off as she reared her head to look at the sky. It was bright and made her squint. Lera lowered her head and started to slowly walk off. JadeEye Where are you going?Notoka doesn't move from where he's at, though he is concerned. Lera touched the two-leg...and she didn't even KNOW him. Sayuri_Nitta Silva stood as Lera walked off and she went over to Notoka, sniffing him a little and then asking; 'You alright?' Otsune "To go dig myself a den," this statement was partially true. Lera was tired of sleeping beneath trees, but more than ever Lera felt as if she needed to hide, lay low for a while. Lera closed her eyes, to hide the suffering behind them, and turned her head to smile at Notoka "Don't worry," she smiled. Lera broke into a trot. JadeEye Notoka frowns at Lera as she moves away and sits back on his haunches, puzzled at what all happened. I'm fine, he answers, flopping his ears back a little. I'm just confused.Sayuri_Nitta 'Why?' she asks quietly, her head tilted, regarding Notoka. JadeEye Because I shouldn't have cared that Lera was going to bite that two-leg...but I didn't want her to. Why was I protecting him? He slumps down so he's lying on his belly, head on his forelegs, and peers up at Silva. Sayuri_Nitta She blinked a little, trying to digest this. 'If you had not stopped Lera, two-legs might have hurt us.' she said. 'Was a good thing I think?' she lay down, facing Notoka, her back legs stretched out. JadeEye He sighs a little and rubs a paw across his nose for a moment. Maybe...but now they might think I'm going to do it all the time.Sayuri_Nitta 'I dont know how two-legs think.' she said, yawning a little. She scraped the dirt with her claws. 'Maybe you stay away from them? Then they not think about you at all.' JadeEye Of course Silva wouldn't know what two-legs think. He doesn't know what they think either...and that's probably a good thing. Notoka sighs and curls his tail about his hind legs and thinks about what happened. Sayuri_Nitta Silva pressed her nose against Notoka as she stood, licking the top of his head. 'I need rest - I still use your cave?' she asked, her tail lifting and wagging slightly. JadeEye That's fine...and not a bad idea now that you mention it. He wanders towards his cave, where he sees Lera digging not too far away, and lets Silva in first before joining her. Perhaps a nap would take these nagging feelings away. Sayuri_Nitta Silva lay down, chin on paws, and sleepily wished Notoka a good rest before falling asleep herself.

Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Silva woke slowly, yawning and showing her teeth. In the night she had somehow rolled over and was pressed against Notoka. She sniffed the sleeping wolf, then stepping around him crept outside. There seemed to be a sort of mist about this morning and her coat became damp with droplets. She shook herself then sniffed. Lera had been here and dug her own den, and she had also been inside Notoka's. She spied the other male, it was Isaac from the scent. She approached him slowly. Reivan Isaac stood perfectly still as he watched the female climb out from the den. As she came closer he noted how she smelt strongly of Notoka, the wolf that seemed to have some kind of grudge against him, and also of something he didn't recognise. He looked her in the eyes, jaw hung open slightly and bobbed his head, unsure of what to say. "What.. How, How are you?" He looked over to the den quickly and back to her. Sayuri_Nitta Silva went right up to him and sniffed him, her tail held out behind her. He smelt healthy but of uncertainty. She back off a little, looking at him. 'I am good.' her head tilted at him. 'Is there something wrong?' she asked quietly. Reivan He held his breath as she moved forward and sniffed him, then assuming he should do the same, ducked his head and sniffed at her sides. He then stood there rather uncomfortably. "I.. am glad that you're.. good." He watched her carefully, caught by the question, "Oh, no nothing.. No. Not.. really." He took a deep breath, tilted his head and let out a soft whine, looking solemnly at the grass near her feet. Sayuri_Nitta She went back over to him, pressing her nose against his flank, then sat looking at him. 'Oh really? You look like a pup thats had its food taken away from it.' she panted in laughter. Reivan He looked at her, nose down, head tilted. "I.." he shifted his weight then sat too, "I um.. can't sleep." He did appear to be rather lacking in energy and feeling very sorry for himself. He grunted, then rubbed the side of his muzzle against the grass. Sayuri_Nitta She looked surprised at this; 'Den-mate that kicks you?' she asks, looking around. Come to think of it where was that female Soul that she always saw him with? She licked the top of his head. 'Why can't you sleep?' Reivan He cocked his head, "Den-mate? I.. have no den-mate.. My home is my own." He crouched down and then flopped onto his side and turned to her, "Because.. they're always there." He stated simply then gnawed at the grass near his head. Sayuri_Nitta 'I thought you and that female..' her voice trailed off as she registered what else he had said. 'They? Who ?' it was the second time she had heard him mention 'them' or 'they'. Reivan Isaac was slightly confused, "What, which female.. would this be?" It seemed that even if there had been something between them, he would have been.. oblivious. His head then twitched in the direction of Notoka's den. "Them.." he hissed, "The two-leggeds, of course." Sayuri_Nitta 'Oh no - its just all the times I have seen you have been with Soul,' she wrinkled her nose, feeling flustered. Her ears flattened slightly at the mention of the two-legs; 'But they arent here - they are far from us.' she looked puzzled. Reivan Isaac seemed stumped, "Soul? Oh, we're just.. friends, i guess." This was something he couldn't recall stating before- That he had a friend. His ears perked for a moment before thinking back on the two-leggeds. "But they are." he insisted. "They come in the night.. When I sleep. They're always there. In.. In my dreams." He frowned slightly, looking towards the treeline. Sayuri_Nitta She looked surprised at this; 'Thats a dream - I have never scented a two-leg near here yet.' she said, moving so that was curled against him a little. She could smell fear and confusion on him. Reivan Isaac grunted slightly. "But, dreams.. can be just as real. That's.. That, that.. uhm.." he paused for a moment to gather himself. "..That's why i lost my old pack. A stupid dream. And now they just won't leave me alone.", each of the last words a frustrated growl. Sayuri_Nitta 'Maybe you should have a den-mate,' she whined softly, nuzzling him. She felt strangely drawn to this troubled wolf - no matter that he was older then her - he obviously needed something - company maybe? She washed his ear. 'Someone to keep away the bad dreams.' Reivan Isaac blinked and shifted his weight again, "Uh, uhm.. O..kay?" His jaw hung open slightly, he didn't know what else to say. "I will.. look for a den-mate then, if.. you think it'll keep the two-leggeds away?" This idea seemed to worry him slightly, almost making him want to run and hide. But he stayed put, if it meant he could get a good night's sleep, why not. He leaned forward, ears back, "Who, d'you think'd want to be.. My.. den-mate..?" Sayuri_Nitta She tilted her head; 'Well thats up to you - Notoka is only letting me use his den because I helped him sort it out again after he buried the entrance. But I guess I should make my own at some point,' she pressed her nose into him again. 'You need company though - bad thoughts eat away at you when you're alone,' she sighed. Reivan "Hm.. yes. When he stormed off and you followed him.. I don't understand that pup." He glanced towards Notoka's den and then into her eyes. "Would you.. stay with me, in my cave.. tonight? Just for the night i mean, since.. since you don't have your own den. Unless.. you want to stay with Notoka still. That's fine, if you do.. I mean. Yeah.." he fell silent and looked to the ground. Sayuri_Nitta She nodded, bowling him over a little to hide all the funny feelings, and nipped his ear. 'Sure,' she wuffed a little. 'I'm sure Notoka wants his den back by now.' Reivan Isaac was glad of this gesture, and although he wasn't much for playing, he forced himself to act as if he was, lest they discuss dreams, or two-legs, or.. Notoka again. "Mm, yes, i'm sure." he said briefly, grinning a little before running off towards the bushes in an attempt to get her to chase him. Sayuri_Nitta She got to her paws, giving chase and managed to catch up with him, as a flurry of wings and a panicked bird sound came from her left side. Curious now, she wriggled into the undergrowth and found a fallen nest, and eggs, some smashed but others whole. She licked her lips and called to him. Reivan Isaac's head snapped in the direction she had run off in. His tongue hung limp from his mouth as he cautiously followed her tail through the bushes. He'd not met a bird before and didn't recognise the smell that surrounded him in this small area. He stopped as he spotted the eggs, "What are those..?" he whispered, apparently scared he'd wake them. Sayuri_Nitta 'Food,' came the muffled reply, as she lapped up some of the spilled yolk from the broken eggs. 'Try it.' Reivan Isaac moved forward to sniff at one of the eggs, then waited a moment, watching her carefully for any ill signs from eating this 'food'. He sensed she was fine, and since he couldn't resist food any longer anyway, he crept up to an unbroken egg and poked his tongue out to lick the shell tentatively before snapping his jaws round the whole egg and chewing on it, an odd look on his face. Sayuri_Nitta Her teeth showed as she laughed. 'The shell isnt so good,' she said, wagging her tail at him. 'You should just crack it,' and she did so to another egg. 'And lick up the insides.' JadeEye Notoka arrives back at his den site, holding a rabbit in his jaws, and looking rather pleased with himself. The air lingers with the scent of Silva...and...Isaac? His brows narrow slightly at such a thing but he decides to stay and eat in front of his den. The older wolf doesn't seem to be around. Reivan He'd apparently already realised the shell was sharp and lacking in flavor, he attempted to spit out what was left of it then moved on to an already broken egg. He looked at her sideways before lapping up the insides of the egg. "Rmm, tha's better." He said with a grin. Sayuri_Nitta She nodded; 'Told you so,' as she licked her lips. She left the broken nest and scattered shells and wriggled back out through the greenery, shaking her fur loose of leaves. She gave herself a perfunctory wash, then yawned. JadeEye Notoka settles down and tears open the soft flesh of the rabbit, stripping the fur from the meat and taking one of the legs in his jaws. With a sharp crack, he moves the leg from the body and gnaws upon it until it's down to the bone. Reivan Isaac stayed behind to help himself to a few more egg yolks quickly, before clambering back out through the bushes also. He stopped in his tracks as he stepped out from the undergrowth to see Notoka by his den. He ducked his head as he saw the rabbit, mouth beginning to salivate, but he continued on to where Silva was. Sayuri_Nitta Silva spat out some fur, then went over to Notoka. 'Hi,' she said softly. 'Sleep well?' JadeEye Notoka catches a whiff of Isaac as he passes by but is distracted when Silva wanders over. He perks a bit and drops the leg bone. Hi Silva, he greets her, nosing her gently in the shoulder. I slept fine, thanks. Where were you?Reivan Isaac flopped onto his belly a little way off, lifting his head as Silva moved off towards Notoka. He grunted to himself but was transfixed by what was left of the rabbit, those egg yolks having been his only meal for the past couple of days or so. He pulled himself along with his forepaws very slowly, towards the two other wolves. Sayuri_Nitta She touched her nose against Notoka in a similar fashion. 'I woke earlier. Talked to Isaac. Found some nice eggs.' she said, her tail lifting a little. 'I see you had a good hunt.' JadeEye He decides not to comment on Isaac, who he can see making his way closer, and instead noses the rabbit towards Silva. Ah, so that's what I smelled...eggs. Want some of this? I don't mind sharing.Sayuri_Nitta She shook her head; 'Thank you but no.' she turned and looked at Isaac as if to say, he probably wants some. She wondered if Notoka would share food with him though. Reivan Isaac continued to edge forward, knowing he stood little chance actually getting some of the meat from him, but.. He halted and looked up as he saw Notoka offer Silva the rabbit. He whimpered slightly, gritting his teeth and cursing himself for doing whatever he did to make Notoka hate him. JadeEye Notoka's head swivels around so he's looking at Isaac again. The corners of his muzzle tense slightly as though he's about to growl, but he checks himself and decides that he's not going to be the bad guy here. Not with Silva watching anyway. The pup grabbed another leg on the rabbit and ripped it off, holding the body down with a paw, and tosses the chunk towards Isaac with a grunt. Sayuri_Nitta Silva looked on in surprise when Notoka did this, and her tail thumped the ground when she sat down. She relaxed a little, trying to ignore the tense feelings and smells from both males. Reivan Isaac still crouched, stunned as he watched the meat bounce near him. He then stood, looking towards the pups, his tail swishing slowly, and bowed his head in thanks before turning back and pouncing on the leg. JadeEye Notoka grunts again and picks up his discarded bone before cracking it and licking the marrow out from the shaft. Then he tosses the bone away and sighs, looking at Silva again. Sayuri_Nitta 'That was a good thing you did.' she said quietly, ears cocked forward as she spoke to Notoka. JadeEye Notoka stretches his forelegs and attempts to look non-chalant. I wouldn't have eaten it all anyway...besides, he looked hungry and I'm not gonna be the jerk who lets him starve.Sayuri_Nitta She grinned; 'I know you're not a jerk - you let me stay in your den after all.' her tail lifted again and thumped the ground. JadeEye How could I not?...I don't like seeing anyone suffer, he whines, flicking his ears back as he sets his chin on his forelegs. Sayuri_Nitta She cocked her head at this? 'Was I suffering?' she went over and licked him on the head. 'You think of others.' she patted him with a paw. 'It's nice.' JadeEye Well, not 'suffering'...but you needed help. He wags his tail across the leaf litter. Besides, you were kind to me first. It is only right to be kind back. Sayuri_Nitta She nodded, laying down and rolling onto her back, itching it. She yawned, flopping onto her side. The mists of earlier had cleared and the sun was now filtering through the trees. She panted, resting a little. 'Well you dont need to put up with me in there tonight,' she said. 'I offered to keep Isaac company tonight.' JadeEye Notoka's hindpaw twitches and his eyes darken slightly at the news. So was she abandoning him now for the older, neurotic teen? He wasn't sure what to say about that without sounding slightly jealous or like he's jumping to conclusions. Sayuri_Nitta She leaned in a little, talking quietly, not noticing his reaction. 'He said just for the one night - apparently he has bad dreams and cant sleep.' JadeEye He snorts slightly and lifts his head again. Bad dreams....we all have bad dreams. He needs to realize that they -are- just dreams and nothings going to happen from them.Sayuri_Nitta 'Well he seemed pretty spooked and I only offered to be nice,' she whined softly. 'I thought you might be getting tired of having me in your den all the time.' her ears went flat. JadeEye It's fine. You do what you like...it is nice of you to look out for him, I suppose. His wagging tail stops and curls around his hind legs. And why would I get tired if you being there? My den is big and I don't mind if you're there, he then answers, looking surprised. Sayuri_Nitta She poked him gently with her nose. 'Well you did say when I first asked that it was okay for a while,' she licked him a little. 'But if you dont mind - I - I would like to stay there after tonight. I didnt realise you actually wanted me there,' she pawed the ground. JadeEye You are welcome back any time. It's lonely in there, he admits, nudging one of her forepaws. It's true...now that he's so used to sharing a den with at least one other pup, he's realized that when no one else is there, he is indeed lonely. Why would you think I didn't want you there? Sayuri_Nitta She nudged him 'Well now I know,' she grinned, nipping him. 'I guess I thought I was asking alot as I was new around here.' she wiggled her ears. JadeEye He play growls and lightly swats at her side with a paw. Naw, you didn't, he replies impishly before nipping at one of her wiggling ears. Sayuri_Nitta 'Ear!' she yipped, bowling him over, and wrestling him to the ground, her paws stirring up the leaf litter. JadeEye Notoka eeps! and is knocked over and pinned all in one very quick movement. I forget how fast you can be, he says ruefully while struggling to get her off so he can get her back. Sayuri_Nitta She rolled off him, grinning. 'Really?' she said, pleased that he thought so. She batted at him with a paw, then licked him. She gave a little yawn. 'I'm gonna take a little rest,' she wagged her tail. 'In our den.' she smiled.
