Name: Cassidy Leigh Bresner
Nickname: Cass. Always Cass. He does not appreciate being called Cassi or Cassidy and will always assume you’re making fun of him if you call him either. While he doesn’t hate his name, he hates the giggling idiots who make fun of him and has grown to the point where he always assumes mockery behind the most amiable tones if he doesn’t know the person well.
Age: 15
Birthday: April 16th
Sign: Aries
Gemstone: Ruby
Blood Type: A+
Fav. Food: Caramel. Oh god caramel. In candy, on ice cream, or hell, just chugged straight from a topping bottle.
Hated Food: Fresh fruits and vegetables. He always obsessively checks for blemishes and any signs it’s gone old before daring to eat or cook with them and he lives in chronic fear of accidentally touching a rotting apple.
School: Hillworth Grammar School. *Cass landed in Hillworth after tagging along with his brother during his vandalism phase as a passive-aggressive protest to familial drama. Both boys were shipped off to prevent anymore busts and so the rest of the family could sort out their problems in peace.
Hobbies:
xxxx⚬Physical activity- Not all sports, but Cass is dedicated to more than one; Track and softball. He's a lean little guy, and he's stronger and faster than he looks. While he didn't discover track until high school, he enjoys it a lot, specializing in running events, but being a half decent sub if needed for throwing events. Softball and baseball, however, he's been passionate about since his little league days. Not so much for the sport itself, but because it was a surefire way to get his father's attention when he was younger. He continues to play today because, well, you stick to what you're good at and it has it's own benefits. Cass currently plays right outfield. He could pitch, but he tends to get nervous and chokes there so his coaches quickly learn he's put to better use fortifying the outfield or infield. He has an affinity for stats and strategies, and practices and games keep him out of the house on weekends.
xxxx⚬Conspiracy Theories- Cass is a bit of a loner but he really doesn't want to hang around his own home either. When forced to, he is mostly hunched over his computer reading some crazed conspiracy theorist's blog regarded the latest UFO in China or government scandal or Destiny City monster sighting. He knows logically they're all overly convoluted, unlikely, and in some cases downright crazy, but he still enjoys reading them and researching their 'facts' and mapping out where the various theories intersect on some things. He actually has a binder dedicated to his mapping out the theories he's researched on just about everything. It keeps him busy when he's locked in his room, hiding out from the world.
xxxx⚬Webcomicking- Sometimes, Cass's wishes and wild imagination about monsters and sinister dealings in the shadows and wild, violent acts of heroism and it's just too much. He can't put it in his daily logs because they didn't actually happen! So what to do? Make a mediocre to shitty webcomic, obviously. Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten fabulous reviews and his fanbase is growing from pitiful to slightly less so. He also tends to drop projects and randomly pick up new ones on random whims or when a troll decides to point out the copious wish fulfillment all his plots are riddled with.
xxxx⚬Journaling- Cass keeps a diary of everything that happened to him that day, and he never misses a log, no matter how uneventful. It's as routine as brushing his teeth.
Virtues:
xxxx⚬Thorough- Are you sure? Are you really really really sure? Cass never is, but he should be. He's never sure of himself, so he's always neurotically checking to make sure he got the job done completely and completely right, whether it's schoolwork, the dishes, or 'other' activities. He may never get any peace, but at least every detail will be checked with the hopes of getting his mistakes corrected before they're noticed by someone else. He lives in a constant state of high strung paranoia that someone will notice mistakes he was blind to, which leads to an impeccably targeted drive to fact check over and over and over... and over and over... And then all those details are filed away until they can become useful.
xxxx⚬I'm the Protagonist- I'm the….I'm the guy! The protagonist, the hero! Every story needs a hero! Cass wants to be the protagonist of his own great story. To be a mysterious masked hero or esteemed monster hunter of Destiny City. That's not easy for a sophomore in a school for less than well behaved boys, but that doesn't stop silly, action movie inspired dreams of monster hunting and world saving. He eats that stuff up, and he yearns for that feeling to be part of something bigger at all costs. To carve out his epic destiny. At least, he really really hopes his destiny is epic. In the meantime, he'll jump on any opportunity even resembling a chance to be recognized as the hero of the day. While this spawns many a good deed and diligence. Unfortunately, his motives are entirely based on recognition and the accolades that come with the good deeds he does. He is far more likely to help a cause with a lot of attention than help something with less eyes watching, or god forbid, needs to be done anonymously.
xxxx⚬Durable- Cass is nothing if not withstanding. He's gone through his unstable moments both mentally and physically, but he has a way of getting back up, attempting to repair himself. Granted he doesn't always deal with the self repair in the most healthy ways but as long as he can continue functioning enough to appear completely normal to the outside world, he doesn't care. He can get knocked around plenty by life but he's not going to curl up and disappear. His number one priority is to keep pushing forward, even when pushed back down. A target of bullies at his old school before moving to Destiny City, he decided all he could do was keep getting up every day and drag his butt back to class and give it his all, even if he was going to have endure plenty of s**t if he did. He figures there's little that can't be endured and all it takes it a persistent mind to push through. And if not he figures it'll probably put him out of his misery anyway.
xxxx⚬Eager to Please- Cass might seem like a withdrawn loner but once you get to know him he doesn't want you to change your mind about it. He wants to please, so much that he ends up going out of his way for acquaintances or even people who might consider him a stranger. This usually results in seemingly random acts of kindness, if not sometimes oddly disproportionate to his actual relationship with the person. People subject to this are usually anyone he runs into on a daily basis. (Classmates, teammates, teachers, coaches.) He also tends to seek out approval from older teens or adults more than people his age or younger. He wants older authority figures to like him at all costs, and he gets jealous if he can't get their attention with his brown nosing.
Flaws:
xxxx⚬Never let go- Cass can hold a grudge like no other. He has grudges filed away for slights the offender probably doesn't even know ever happened. But it's not just grudges. Cass files away everything. His memory can't possibly hold all he wants, but he writes it down. He logs all details and useless things at the end of every day, and even during the day on his phone, with routine obsession. His files are overloaded. He even had to get a portable harddrive now that he's been doing this for so long, and official papers, forms, and other hard copies are stashed away in his second hand filing cabinet resting in his room. He doesn't even reread the old archives unless he's looking to refresh his memory about a particular event, but he can never delete them, under the impression that he will, on occasion, need to refresh his memory with that massive diary log. One day those details may be needed, and what then? It would be chaos, that's what. An unhealthy portion of his daily life goes towards making sure things are not forgotten. Everything might be worth it at one point or another, and every rare occasion it does come in handy only solidifies his belief that he can never stop hoarding.
xxxx⚬In his own little bubble- Cass has a very solid monkeysphere and like everyone, he is inattentive and unperceptive to people outside of it. Only his sphere of attention is much smaller than average and people and things outside of it are as good as non existent. All his thoroughness and persistent habits can usually only be focused on one task or mission at a time, so things not in his tunnel vision will often be ignored to an extreme degree, and most times people outside his own little world are offhandly not even thought of as three dimensional beings with their own lives and personalities. He could, if he made an effort to wrap his brain around it, but he doesn't even try, and what's worse, he really doesn't want to try. He thinks that focus is what makes him good at what he does, even when all that focus shuts out everything else to the point he feels like he's drifting along an unreal scene with paper dolls instead of a serious situation with real people.
xxxx⚬Emotionally attachable- Cass is a sturdy person but not a stable person. There's a large gap between him functioning at bare minimum and functioning fully and comfortably and usually to be the latter he needs a crutch, someone to cling to. For most of his years, it's been his brother. Cassidy was born the year after his brother, their birthdays within the same week of April even. Cassidy instantly developed an attraction to his brother's strong, outgoing personality and for years was only seen in public when standing near him. The drifting between him and his crutch has proven to be the most stressful experience of his life so far, and he is constantly seeking replacement crutches and discarding them when he thinks he's found a better one. But Cass always seems to need someone stronger to look up to, to hold him up and without it he is 'okay' in the most minimalistic terms on the outside, and inwardly a total mess. He requires someone to orbit and constantly try to impress to be at his best.
xxxx⚬Arrogant- He might be little, he might be a mess, but he's still confident he can get the job done better than you. Cass believes if you want the job done right, you've got to do it yourself, because everyone on his level and maybe even plenty above are incompetent morons. He believes he can fix everything, and fix it better than it's ever been fixed before. The world would be such a better place if only you could think in the special, unique way he does.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Big, amber-gold.
Hair: cut short, slightly scruffy, purple.
Face: Mocha latte complexion with faint freckles around the bridge of his nose. Very childish face with a set, stiff little jaw with a pouty frown or one of those cocky brat smiles that induce rage.

Negaverse Alias: Lieutenant Zippeite
Challenge: You underestimate the power of the Dark Side! (lolVader)
Uniform: Futuristic style... something. I am fashion challenged. Main- Black Secondary- Yellow
Weapon: Toy lightsaber --> Middle staff --> Ridiculously fancy three sectioned staff, all with a glowing theme.
Brief history/Why the Negaverse: Cass has always needed the validation of someone else. Someone else's rules, someone else's structure, because he doesn't trust his own. For the longest time, he's clung to his brother, but upon being dropped at Hillworth, mostly because of that clinging loyalty, he no longer has that. His brother's off making friends and coming into his own, while Cass is left desperately vulnerable in his new environment with little to fall back on with his parents splitting up and withdrawing into their own issues on top of everything. The Negaverse and it's military structure and higher purpose are almost exactly what he needs. He doesn't have to be powerless Cassidy Bresner anymore. He can be Lt. Zippeite, working his way up the ranks to something greater. Defending DC, Earth, and everything he cares about from the senshi at all costs. The Negaverse is everything he could possibly want and he eagerly wants them to mold him into a competent soldier against the aliens that threaten to take over.

*puts on her crittin' hat*
I'm the Protagonist sounds more like a hobby than a virtue to me. You describe his dreams and the length he would go to be a hero, but not really what makes him that way. It is a thrist for attention ? Does he want to protect those he care about ? You describe the how very well, but not the why ? I love the end of the paragraph, through, and I think the bit about dropping morals for fame should stay somehow.
The rest looks fine to me !

I had the same thought that Zero did, but I subbed the title "I'm the Protagonist!" for "Determined Self-Importance" in my head and then reread it. It worked for me then, though I do agree with what Zero raised. However, this is still stampable. If you want to retitle it or move it up to Hobbies, you may -- and the stamp will still stand! If you make any other change than that, please let me know, and I will look at it again.
