Mkinaifu sat a little way's off from their den's entrance- Natsuki and Karvanis had given them a small taste of freedom and allowed them to roam the surrounding area. Though, with all of the grass around the den, it was hard to make out his surroundings. Sure, for an adult, or even an older young lion, it would be easy to spot others in such a surrouding, but... Well, for as short of a creature he was at this age, the grassline was about at eye level. All the same, the young cub kept his vision scanning over the tops of the grass, eyes wide. Anyone could be lurking out there... And it would have been nice and safe to stay in the den, except that his other siblings were there and he wanted to get away to a less-cramped space. His ears swiveled, but it was difficult to hear over the swirls of whispers he heard. They seemed to be everywhere, he couldn't narrow it down to who they were coming from... And while one might think that these voices would collectively be quite loud, they were not.
Mere background noise, it seemed. And not one was, at the moment, addressing him; they spoke amongst themselves.
Deciding that nobody was about who could bring the boy harm, he turned his eyes to the sky and focused on the clouds... "So fluffy, all the way up there," he said, pushing off of his back paws and reaching as hard as he could to try to grab a wisp, but they were much too far away.

Bawa`Mtoto watched her brother curiously from a fairly short distance. The freedom wasn't all to great, she preferred being all together and playing, not much for being alone. Yawning slightly she sighed, last night was her first of many experiences of insomnia. For her her brothers odd ways caught her attention. "Fu.." She said slowly, her paws lifting her from her sitting spot to bring her to his side. "Fu, what are you doing?" She asked with a smile on her lips. She was gentle with words, caring, and loving. Her family was most precious to her and her eye's spoke her feelings.

Fu jumped, startled at the sudden sound. He had checked, made sure! Nobody was there! But that voice was one he had recognized, had it not been, he would be poised to run. Mkinaifu was quite the opposite of his father- he was not outgoing or brave; the little boy was quite afraid of most everything, family being the exception. And this sister of his, she was quite brave, he felt safe around her. Though, he was now convinced that his sister could teleport. Convinced. Or else that she could meander around soundlessly. "Oh, oh hey, Bawa!" He said, a brow quirked and a sheepish grin on his face. "You really startled me, there. Oh, and I... well... I was trying to grab some cloud- it looks really nice, doesn't it?" he asked.
Actually, clouds kind of reminded him of Bawa herself... They had the same nice blue tinge to them as she had. He wondered if they would someday be the ones she would speak to, though it was impossible to tell. "So, what're you up to?" he asked quietly with a headtilt.
