Tibu was not always a morning person but she was starting to get used to it. She wasn't always the biggest fan of waking up in the morning and wandering out into the pride to do everyday morning things for her job. She was a nanny and she liked taking care of the cub but some times when others needed a nanny in the morning and she had to get up she wasn't always a fan of it. Especially when she woke up and they decided to cancel it last moment.

She grumbled quietly as she wandered away from the watering hole she was heading home for the morning to go and relax in her den and maybe get a little more sleep before she had to wake up later and take care of some different cubs that she was hoping wouldn't cancel on her. She loved her job but some times she didn't.

She trotted quietly a soft smile grew on her face, the idea of sleeping was starting to change her mood slowly.

He was just back from a hunt. His body was hot and felt light weight; still hyped upon adrenaline. He had blood stains on his muzzle and down his chest and mane. It was a good day to be the hunters! They'd brought back big game for the pride. He was running to the watering hole now, to get clean and cool. The white and light pink male was a bright spot on a dusty background, never once did he blend in.

Dark cyan eyes flickered this way and that before he spotted something moving away from the watering hole. At first, he was just going to ignore it and move about his day, but Mato hardly ever got social interaction. He was dying to talk t someone, and why not meet a new pride member while he was at it. So, after a quick drink, Mato ran over to her and slunk up right beside her.

"Hi! I'm Mato!"

Tibu didn't noticed the other lion as she was walking away but the sound of a voice alerted her to the other following her. She turned around and looked back at the male, she was a little confused at the blood on him but then she figured he must have just gone hunting. She smiled slightly as she started to move closer to him. She didn't see the point of avoiding some company, she probably couldn't fall asleep so soon after waking up anyway.

"Hello!" She laughed slightly and nodded to him. "I'm Tibu." For some reason she felt like a cub, she thought it was find of funny but she didn't mind. She flashed him a large grin. "I don't think I've seen you around. " She laughed at herself then again she was almost always busy. "How are you?" She asked curiously.

He nodded his head at her talking and grinned wide. Obviously Mato was a happy guy; he hardly ever had a bad day. He was near his mother and father, his siblings, and even nieces and nephews! He felt it was good to be him.

"Tibu, that's a pretty name. You've not seen me because I'm a hunter, and I.... am on hunt almost all the time. Then I help my parents take care of their litter, my newest siblings, and my nieces and nephews. I rarely have time like this." He flicked his ears and tail at the same time. She was a pretty girl. Maybe he could propose something to her.

"That, and I'm looking for a mate. ....A male mate, actually. ...And a surrogate mother.."

Tibu was pretty surprised at how cheery the male sounded she wasn't used to running into others that were this cheery. She enjoyed finding someone so cheery, she hated running into lions that were all negative. She nodded to him and then flopped back on her haunches and then smiled "Ah I guess that makes sense." She smiled slightly once more. "I'm a nanny, so I guess we're normally at two different ends of the area. And the blood made sense now!

However she paused at his question, shecouldn't help it. It really caught her off guard she wasn't expecting some one to go out and ask her a question like that. She arched a brow for a moment at him not really sure of what to think about his question. She paused for a moment about to say no but she stopped herself. She didn't see why she couldn't just say yes. She didn't have a mate, she wasn't really doing much in the pride. She opened her mouth and then laughed slightly. "I don't see why not."

"Oh, I didn't mean right away! I... I didn't mean you, I mean, I'm so thankful you will!" Oh, boy. Way to stick your paw in your mouth, Mato. Still, the prospect of children; his own children? It seemed like a really, really good idea right now. "I mean, we've just met and just exchanged names! I didn't.... Well, I don't want to pressure you, Tibu. I mean.." Now he was extremely nervous and a bit anxious, part of him wanted to really get out of here, but he wanted to get to know her better. If she was going to be surrogate for him, it would be nice to know more about who the cubs would be calling mommy, right?

"I'm sorry. I really am horrible at talking with others.." He gave her a sheepish grin and an apologetic look before looking to the side and nodding. This is what he got for wandering away from his mother at such a young age!

Tibu looked at the male and through for a moment before letting out a huff of breath and then laughed. "Well I'm glad we're not going to do that right away. You have to catch me dinner first." She laughed winking a him playfully. "Really though if you are interesting I'm not doing much with my life other then wandering around at the moment." She flicked her hair ouf of her eyes thinking as she then nodded to him again. "I wouldn't mind." She shrugged again talking as if she had been asked this before she didn't want o make the make uncomfortable.

She then let out another small chuckle. "Don't worry you're not that bad I've seen worse."

"Well...." He gave a nervous laugh and a sigh. At least she was comfortable with it all. Mato thought for a moment and then nodded again. "OK, then. I can catch you dinner. It wouldn't be that hard! Well, what do you want to know about me?" He motioned her to a shady spot under a couple of trees they were by. Randomly walking always took Mato to the oasis or the watering hole. "I'm not that interesting, I'm afraid, so I don't really know how much you'll enjoy spending time with me." Well, he took that back. His stories of the rogue lands were always interesting, or so he'd been told.

Tibu laughed quietly and them odded to him. "Thank you! I would enjoy you're company for dinner!" She grinned at him and then winked slightly, she flicked her hair then chuckled. "let's go settle some where shall we?" He grinned then started to wander away. "Let's head back to the watering hole." She offered then she started to wander toward it with a smile on her fce. "I don't know! Tell me about hwat ever you want. And I'll tell you anything that you want to know."

Blinking at that, he followed her and told her all about his travels; his run in with other lions, leopards, cheetahs. His adventures in flirting and courtship with other males, the negative reactions he got from them. All in all, Mato told Tibu everything interesting about him, in great detail and at a long length. He was very animated when he spoke, getting voices down and gestures. He would talk well into the night with Tibu, to settle himself, as well as her, down. He was excited, though.

Tibu found him exciting and interesting that was for sure. She was interested into the male he seemed like a character some one really interesting some one that he hadn't met before that was for sure she was going to enjoy his company she was getting iused to the whole idea of joining the male and even having her cubs she knew it was going to turn out interestin but she was pretty prepared for it, she hoped anyway.
