So I just pre-ordered Serj's limited edition CD from his website even though I said I probably wouldn't...I couldn't resist. D:
Has anyone else pre-ordered it, or planning to since it comes out in 17 days?
And what does everyone think of Left of Center? I actually really like it.

I didn't pre-order it. My Best Buy carries the special editions of everything. I am going to the concert on October 2nd. I like both new songs, they're very different though.

Well from his last album, I feel like this one is going in a more...electronic? direction. I think the video is kick a**, I love the use of claymation and still including Serj.

What do you think of the album now as a whole?
I like it a lot it's just as different as the three songs before hand. Left of Center I feel is very much System-sounding. I think it might be my favorite.

I think it might be my favorite. I love the album. It is much softer than anything I am used to listening to Serj do, but I enjoy it. I would have to say my two favorite songs would be Disowned Inc., Borders Are and Deserving?. You are right, Left of Center does remind me of something I would hear System produce.

Have you listened to Goddamn Trigger? It was an extra song on IH in Japan. You can listen to part of it on iTunes. Hrm..I'm still debating if I will buy it or not.

Ugh, I really hate buying songs off of itunes. Might look for it on Limewire first. I just listened to it, I think it sounds pretty cool...I'll probably buy it in the end anyways. Did you notice the two extra orchestrated songs of Deserving? and Peace Be Revenged? They might be on the deluxe edition.

Deserving, Peace Be Revenged, Reconstructive Demonstrations, Beatus and Borders Are. And yes, they are on the Deluxe Edition.

I actually like the album as a whole, but ironically I do partially favor the two singles he released before the album, Left of Center and Borders Are... However, I love Gate 21. I don't know why, but it feels so earnestly written! Very entrancing.
