Noy was away from her mate today- he was staking out the area while she was... well, exploring the area, it seemed. She padded confidently in the same direction she had been going, headed towards a splotch she had spotted on the horizon. Well, splotch may not have been the proper word... More like a scraggly line. Her eyes were determined, though, to find out just what it was!
She'd sent her newfound companion, Mtalia, over to check it out. They had started on a strange foot, but the scraggly lammergeier had grown on the lioness over the short time they'd been together. She was both useful and made for good company, despite her strange appearance. She kept her eyes on the sky, watching for the vulture to return... "Ah, there she is," she said, ears perking up.
Mtalia flew towards the bright spot on the savannah. In spite of Noyana's coloration, she blended in quite well against golden grass, she was pretty surprised. ANd those swirls and stripes seemed to work to her advantage as well, the same way stripes helped a zebra- it became apparent why she was such a good huntress. "It's a gorge, looks pretty interesting," she called as she circled around and landed on the lioness' haunches- the same place she used to perch on Machafuko. Though, she didn't dig her talons into this lioness- she had no need. Noyana seemed self-motivated enough without any of that.
"Good," Noy said with a smirk as the bird landed. She was getting accustomed to that feeling- it took some getting used to, but Mtalia was a worthy friend. "I'm sure we'll bump into something interesting over there," she said, picking up the pace and hoping the lammergeier could cope.
