 This large fire monument is a memorial to the previous Hokage. It is unknown whether the monument was dedicated specifically to the Third Hokage, or whether it is meant to provide a more accessible memorial than the general Hokage mountain monument. This memorial overlooks the graves of other ninja who fell in battle like the Third's son Asuma.

Setsuko Oni stepped out from the bushes and walked towards the memorial. She had finished her patrol for the time being and decided she hadn't visited in awhile.
She stood in her black uniform and mask staring at the names before her. So many lost and so many more will be... her dark thoughts often accompanied her when she was on active duty. Thinking back on missions and the loved ones she lost.
Knowing too well, she too will become a faint memory with not legacy left behind her. It would end with her and the clan would only exist in textbooks....

Stepping away from the memorial after thinking her peace for each of the shinobi that had fallen she disappeared as soon as the wind blew through the leaves of the neighboring bushes.

Like clock work Setsuko Oni made her rounds of the city and found her way to the memorial. Standing silently as she paid her respects, she could relate and knew the war at hand would leave a toll on her.
Crossing her arms over her chest, she peered up at the clouds. The wind blew coldly like a kiss from fall as she made her resolve to do everything in her power to protect everyone.
Hehe love this song.

 Bein walked up the the memorial. She hid her forehead protector in her pocket and smirked as she looked at the memorial. She sat down. Thought there would be more people here.
