Ryari made her way through the lush green forests. It was another warm sunny day and the sun shone through the trees reflecting off her coat. It was the perfect day to go to the ocean. She had never been to the ocean but she had heard about it from some of the other forest animals. A huge body of water as far as the eye could see... with giant waves and ground up tiny bits of rock they called sand. Ever since she had heard about it she had been interested in seeing it. She hopped over a small over turned tree and continued on her way.

Cam found herself along the same beach where she had first met Altair, in the same spot even. It was a windy day and the waves were being tossed halfway up the cliff. The gentle spray of salt water drifted up to dew Cam's face, dry in the wind, then drift up again.

As she got closer to the opening in the forest Ryari could feel a difference in the temperature in the air. It was getting cooler and it felt nice. She smiled as she sped up, turning her pace into more of a fast trot then a walk. When she came into a clearing she could only look in amassment as she caught sight of the huge body of water before her. She had never seen anything like it. The waves crashing against the land and flowing out to sea. It was nothing like a lake. She smiled as she ran out and skidded to a stop in front of the sandy beach.

Cam barked in alarm. It wasn't the sudden appearance of a strange female, it was that the female was running straight for the beach. With the wind as strong as it was, there was always the chance for a major wave to reach past the gravelly sand. Goodness knows, their history was full of mentions of it.
She stood and began the trot from her spot on the cliff to the more gradual sloping hill that led to the beach.

Ryari tilted her head to the side as she looked at the sand. It was nothing like any dirt she was use too. She reached out with a paw and touched it then quickly brought her paw back. It was squishy like mud... but not wet and when she placed her paw on it it left a track. She smiled as she did a little jump and landed in the sand. The force of her jump made her sink a little. She smiled as she took another step experimenting with the sand. It was little hard to get use too so she was a little wobbly when she walked. She took a few steps then looked back and wagged her tail when she saw the indentation of her tracks.

Cam came trotting up to the edge of the beach, still many yards away from the strange female. The strong waves dug small furrows into the sand in the shallows and whipped a fine mist into the air.
She peered out into the distance. The sky was still cloudless and a deep blue, the wind not quite as strong as it had been from her place on the cliff. Her alarm had not been necessary.
Well, that made her feel akward. The brown female wasn't quite sure what to do now, leave or introduce herself. She wanted to see how the female reacted to her presence first and take her cues from body language.

As she made her way across the sandy beach a step at a time she stopped. She couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. Her suspicion was confirmed when she turned around and caught the sent of a female just before spotting her. She was standing a ways away from her on the beach. She tilted her head to the side as she looked over her. Her coat was brown with flower patterns on it. It was beautiful and interesting. She had never seen a fox with a coat like that before.
She didn't seem to be hostile but you could never be too sure. She turned toward the fox and decided she would at least introduce herself. After all she didn't have many friends... it would be nice to at least have another.

Cam managed a smile. Really, she had no idea what to say. She was social enough with the members of her tribe, but she was a fox of a more solitary nature. "Hello. Sorry to disturb you. My name is Chamomile."
