Mambe knows a thing or two about fighting, having been taught the ways of a warhound by his parents from the moment he could walk, before being shipped off for a 'higher education'. The strict upbringing enabled Mambe to pay close attention both in class, and out of it. He honed good observational skills, which came in handy when one day, when he was at home, he declared that he wanted to spend the rest of his days fishing.
Now one might think that Mambe's parents would have put up a bigger fuss, since this fisherhound was an only child, but his father knew that you had to follow your heart and your calling, rather then simply conform to the expectations of the world around you. That and he really enjoyed the taste of fresh fish.

Dune was born early in the morning to a breeder who does not remember. Her parents are nothing more then a smudge of warmth on her memory. As far as slaves go she is pretty calm, content to do what is bid of her, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't have a bite when pushed.
