User ImageMist smiled- with only her eyes- to her songbird, Shadowed Dawn. She watched as the bird dove this way and that, singing a song that Mist was quite used to at this point.

User ImageShe trotted along, mumbling some nonsense to the bird. "You know, this morning, right before the sun passed the trees, I was sure I saw a bird in the sky." she tilted her head as she walked, her tail dragging along behind her. "I thought I found your home, so mine must be nearby, right?" she asked the bird sincerely, her voice curious.

She fell silent and paused in her steps, watching as her rather unintelligent bird continued flitting forward, not noticing her master's pause. Mist, however, decided it was unimportant and trotted in place for some moments. "The ground is different." she announced to herself. And it was indeed somewhat harder here, likely trampled upon by hundreds of Kimeti on their way to the body of water that Mist had passed by- not that she'd know that was why.

She ignored the few other Kimeti that she passed, having no desire to really speak to any of them, and began her search for something edible. Fruit, probably- something colourful and sweet.
