Cealdia, again, found herself lost. It was quite a common thing. Then again, she couldn't really be lost unless she had a home to go back to. Which she didn't. But that didn't stop the fact that she had not a clue where she was. It was exciting, yet frightening at the same time. Though, somehow she always was in the situation. Her ears would pop up, then fall back to her skull at every little sound she heard.

She was scared, yet not at the same time. If that was possible. She had come from a forest of something. The male she had ran into before said it was where a pride lived. He explained it as the pride of mysts. Or something, she didn't pay much attention. She happened to be too busy trying to get way from their conversation. She was shy, and didn't really like running into others. It didn't help that the male was something like she. Awkward silence made it worse.

This land wasn't much different, though there weren't as many trees. Enough to keep someone hidden, if they wanted to be hidden. But not enough to make it almost impossible to move in. She liked trees, she realized. They were nice, even if she couldn't climb up into them. Her head moved to look up at the tree branches above her and she continued to move slowly threw the land.

His mane had started to grow on and long peachy bangs fell in to his eyes because of it. His eyes, a gentle shade of green followed the landscape as he trotted along. He was on his way home. He kew if he kept on this course that he would reach his prides lands, the swamps, in just a few days but he was enjoying the silence of the trees. Trees were interesting, or at least unusual, to him any way, there were few trees in the swamps, and the trees that lived their were thin spindly things that hung on to edges or thick old dark trunks.

This place was so very different.

His soft grey ears perked to the skies as he turned his gaze upwards looking for the sun which dappled it's way through from above. It was then that he did not see or hear the soft grey lioness until he was nearly on top of her.

His large green eyes smiled as he nodded his head. "Sorry I didn't see you there." he smiles and sits himself down his long bangs falling in to his eyes.

Cealdia jumped back, as she heard a voice. Not realizing that she wasn't alone in this area. She glanced around wildly before she noticed the other lion. She felt silly not knowing he was there, she practically walked right into him. Well, not totally. Thankfully. She had done that once or twice in the past. Give or take a few. "S-sorry." She said in a quiet voice. "I didn't see you either." she added just in case he felt as silly as she did.

She watched him carefully. He was gray, like she was. With bits of color here and there. Though his markings were different. She hoped she didn't seem rude at all, after she realized she was just staring at him. She quickly looked away at some random leaf on the ground. "I'm Cealdia" she told him. That was what she was suppose to do right? Introduce yourself right off the bat? She didn't know. She didn't run into many others.

The silvery male smiled winningly and flickered his tail happily. "I'm Co.." He paused, he wasn't supposed to use his new name until he returned to the swamps and announced it. "Poa. My name is Poa." He tilts his head and looks around. "Are you lost? I haven't seen another lion for a long while."

"I'm just on my way home myself." His ears flicker standing up amongst his peach coloured mane. "I'm sorry if I am trespassing, I am passing through." He raises a brow curiously his smile never leaving his maw.

She was very lost. But she didn't know what to say to him. She didn't know where she was going, so she wasn't exactly sure what she was lost from. She smiled at him. "Nice to meet you Poa" She looked down at her feet. He did seem quite nice. "I.... I.... yes." She said to him. Her ears flattened as she looked away from him even more. Off to the side, she focused on a rock, but glanced at him every once in a while.

"To be honest, I don't even know where I'm going" She said in a low voice. "And you're not trespassing." She told him. Or she was sure he wasn't. She hadn't smelled any type of pride around these area's. Just an open clean area all around. "It must be nice, going home" She added.

The young male smiled gently. She seemed upset, sad even and he felt a need at that moment to help her, to protect her if he could. Puffing out his chest he smiled winningly. "Maybe i can help you find your way home too?"

He raises a curious brow at her, his ever helpful streak surging forwards. "I passed a few prides on my quest and a few more on my way home. Where are you looking for. I'll help any way I can." He smiles a gentle smile taking a seat his haunches bunching beneath him.

She smiled at him kindly. If only she knew where her real home was. That was a bit of a problem. "Well, if I knew, then I'd let you help me." She said. It wasn't a very good thought, thinking about not having a place to go back to. Always wondering around. She wanted to change that. She wasn't fit for this type of life. She was weak, and always ended up getting lost or in trouble.

"I can't really say." She spoke lighter. " I don't really have any place to go." It felt weird actually admitting that out loud for a change."I'm more or less just trying to find a place to fit in"

Coburnycus frowned lightly and flickered his fluffy tail. The protector in him wanted to help this lioness but he wasn't sure how well offering his help would go down, or for that matter if she would accept it.

"You can come home with me." He pauses and smiles sheepishly, he wasn't one to hold back his thoughts. "You'd be welcome and if you don't like it you can always leave." He raises a brow, he wanted to help the pretty lioness out, he just hoped that she would or in fact could accept his helping paw.

She smiled at him for his generosity. She'd never met someone so kind in offering to take her to his home. "What is your home like?" She asked him. He had seemed nice enough, she had begun to relax a little bit. She didn't want to say yes at first, she wanted to know a bit about it instead of walking blindly into some unknown place. Even though, she did that on her own, but she didn't want to be put in a situation where someone else got her into some kind of trouble. It was one thing to do it yourself, but trusting someone one just met and being led into a bad situation was something she didn't want to go through.

She didn't even think that he could lie about his home. "If you don't mind me asking, I don't want feel like a complete stranger" She said with a smile. She didn't want any type of attention on herself. She'd end up doing some sort of mistake if everyone was watching her.

The silver grey male smiled and chuckled. "Of course! Well, lets see, I live in the swamps, so it's dirty and muddy every where, it's had to stay clean but more fun to be muddy. Theres so many frogs to wat you never go hungry, and other creatures too, but I love a good frog." He chuckles and looks deeply thoughtful.

"When we grow up we leave our lands to go out in to the world and when we return we change our names." He beams "I found my name out here in the rogue lands and when I go home I will tell the world what it is and I will be an adult." He takes a deep breath "We believe in great spirits and the mother of the swamps." He chuckles "The swamps aren't for everyone, but to me they are home and if you like, you can come with me I promise you will be safe there if you need a home."

She'd never been to a place that was always muddy and wet. Never been out of the Savannah land. It intrigued her. She listened to everything he had to say. Changing your name? That hardly made any sense, though it sounded interesting. She always hated her name that her parents' had given her as a cub, but never thought she could change it. At least, not until now.

"I think I'd like to join you." She told him with a nod. She wanted to get a better look at what he was saying. To understand it a bit more. She was curious about it. She'd heard about other prides, but she never put much interest in learning about them. They had seemed boring.

Poa, as his name still was, smiled proudly and puffed out his chest, his deep green eyes smiled proudly. "Come on then. I came through here on my way out, theres a copse not far from here were we can rest for the night, then in the morning, we strike out for home."

He chuckles in a very jolly manner, he had a feeling that she would love his home, it was, after al, a beautiful place, he had been born there and he was so glad to be going home, it filled his heart with happiness and more than that, he was very pleased to be bringing someone home with him. He thought he would be going home alone but to be bringing a friend in to the pride made him feel very proud. "You'll love my home, I just know it." He beams, trotting off towards the copse where they could spend the night.

She smiled at him. He seemed to really love where he lived. Which made things all the more better. She couldn't wait, she could feel the excitement creeping up her slowly. She didn't think she'd sleep much tonight, not with knowing about a new and exciting place. Though, she never thought mud and getting dirty would be all that fun. Then again, she never really been in an area that had it all the time. Perhaps that's what made it different?

"I can't wait." She said as she moved the way he had motioned. She didn't want to wait for tomorrow to see it. But, maybe it was farther than she was thinking? She smiled. "Rest would be good." She wasn't totally sure if that was the truth. "Are there lots of different type of creatures there?" She always loved snakes, but never knew where some lived. She had seen some lions with them as friends, but never wild ones she could be-friend her own.

The silver gray male lion smiled. "Yeah, lots of snakes, they like to sit in the water and just, soak. Have to be careful some of them are real poisonous!" he raises both brows trotting over a small rise he points with a paw in to the distance. "That dark patch over there, thats home. It's about a days good lope." He smiles "But we will get there tomorrow."

The young male grins happily, it would be good to be home. "If you decide to stay you will have to change your name. I have a new name but you'll find that out when we get home tomorrow." He chuckles happily. "It's a really good one, I am proud of it." He puffs out his chest happily continuing down the small rise directing his nose towards a little copse of trees in the near distance. They could rest there tonight and tomorrow they would be home where the mud was sticky and the water was cool. He couldn't wait but he also needed a rest. Tomorrow would come soon enough and he would finally be back home.

That was interesting. Changing names? She didn't like her name anyways. She listened to him with a smile. Poisonous snakes? Snakes could be deadly? How interesting. Though she didn't ask him about it. She didn't want to look like a fool. "Snakes are interesting creatures" She just added and nodded. She was curious about his new name, and when exactly she'd find it out. She didn't want to use an old name when she saw him next if she stayed in the pride.

Was that forbidden? She didn't know. She didn't want to ask either. "I'm sure it's a lovely new name!" She said with a giggle. She wondered what her new name would be. Though, she had to see if she liked the pride first! She wanted to know everything about it. It seemed so interesting. "Only a day, you say?" She asked with a nod. "It'll be exciting to see the place!"
