Hard to say. Will he just become a service rep, A gm? Or actually get into the heart of the business? (Graphics, programmer, etc)

Programmers and designers usually do get the free WoW for life. GM's don't really get it, but added perks as free realm transfers when they want, race changes, name changes and whatnot.

If he becomes a GM, he'll get the crummy jobs first, like answering the annoying tickets. But if he keeps up with it, he'll raise in ranks (literally) in the GM floor. There are I believe about 3 ranks. Entry, Lead, Management. Leads are fun because you get called a Specialist, they do all the restoring of gear. And Managements are the ones that get to appear ingame and cause commotion.

But welcome back to the game! You will find that live servers are definitely different then free ones. Free ones usually have alot of bugs, or perks to them that you wont find online. So, if you get lost with something, ask someone you can trust. Trade chat on live is a beehive of Trolling no matter the server you end up on.
