It's not caused by us, nor preventable by us. It may have been sped along by us, and it may potentially be slowed by us, but it is inevitable and unavoidable. We have to hit another ice age sooner or later. It shouldn't even be political.

It is not proven that man made gas emissions cause warming. Period. See Tom Coburn's arguments on this for any doubts you may have.

I would just like to point out during the Medieval ages there was record temperatures and was shown to be part of the report for temperature across the years (and also showed how our current temperature was matching that heating period) and they snatched that out of the report because that single part proved global warming was a lie.

What makes me angry and laugh is how these nuts who believe we are causing it fail to realize the Earth's natural orbit.
Sure, I believe Global Warming is occurring...but NOT because of mankind. A 22 year study out of MIT proved that more solar radiation escapes the atmosphere then is trapped, and this number has actually INCREASED.
Now. The Earth is known to shift its distance from Sol (the proper name for our star), when the Ice Age happened, Earth drifted a bit from Sol. We are drifting CLOSER now. That explains the steady changes in climate.

It has also been said that methane is one of the leading causes of global warming.... But the gas methane is in a fart as well... Are they saying everything on earth should hold it in. Sorry this sounds immature... But thats how they sound on this issue.
