After a late night stumbling into her dorm with the light off and tripping into her nightstand, Alice had ended up breaking the lamp that was generally on that table. As such, the girl had had to pick up the pieces and stuff them in a brown paper bag to take the item for repairs at a local antiques store, seeing as the lamp was old. That's store was generally where the school went for repairs on its decorations so the girl had brought it down herself and would be paying for it, since it was her responsibility.
Presently, the blonde Herald was glancing around, curious about the things going on in the store. Well, why not? She loved to look at all sorts of odds and ends, old and new, and there could be cool stuff here!

An antique store. How very exciting. Michael didn't seem to think much of his mother's choice in stores. He glanced around, looking for something remotely interesting. It wasn't so bad, he figured; there were old things, new things, in between things--and a girl. A girl! He hadn't expected to meet anyone his age here. Maybe some older people. Maybe some people his mom knew.
A girl that seemed to belong in the store as much as the stuff being sold. "Hey Mom, I'm going to look at--" he pointed vaguely, hoping his mother would get the point. He wanted to seperate. Maybe make a friend.
"Hi, I'm Michael. What's your name?" he asked as he approached the girl.
