Fiona yawned, stretching her arms up over her head. She had just finished a practice tennis match against her older brother and was walking through the streets of Destiny City in one of her favorite tennis outfits. A white tennis skirt with a light blue waistband and sleeveless top was just opposite, mostly a light blue with two white stripes going down the sides and white hemming. Her red hair was pulled back into a high ponytail with a few sections falling down, framing her face as they flipped outward, complimented by a white headband nestled above her bangs and behind a few flipped out sections.
She walked across the sidewalk with quick long strides, a specific destination in mind. She was heading straight for the Shufflepuck Cafe. Now she certainly wasn't a fan of the decor, or the building itself really, but they certainly had damn good coffee. She paused just outside the doors, her fingers wrapped around the door handle as he dual colored eyes scanned the surrounding area.
Satisfied that a certain redhead was no where to be seen she pulled the door open and stepped inside. A grin spread across her lips as she moved forward, away from the door, and closed her eyes. She took a minute to inhale deeply to suck up the coffee smell that flooded the cafe.
She had to be honest, she loved the smell of coffee and it could easily be one of her favorite scents. She marched straight up to the counter, ordered a vanilla latte and once she had it she settled in to a nearby chair, drink held with both her hands, and leaned back.
It was time to chill out and relax.

The minute Fiona had entered, Clarissa had been at the encounter ordering her milk tea.
But when she had turned around, she had found all of the seats already taken. That fast? She was astonished. Used to bigger cafes, there had always been available seats everywhere. Now in Destiny City, due to the significant decrease in size.. there was only a few. Eyes surveying the room, she caught sight one available seat open, but not the table. A brown-haired girl seemed to be seating there with her drink, leaning back in a relaxed pose.
Though it bothered her conscience terribly to impose on someone else, quite frankly, she had nowhere else to go.
With a polite tap on the shoulder, she offered the other girl a friendly smile. "Would you mind terribly if I took a seat here?"

Fiona had somehow managed to get lost in her own little world and hadn't noticed the purple-haired girl walk up to her. She had closed her eyes and was lifting the cup to her mouth when she was spoken to. Her eyes fluttered opened and her hands froze, the cup slightly tilted only an inch away from her lips. She frowned, pressing her lips together, and furrowing her brows just the tiniest bit.
She seemed to stay like that for more than a couple of seconds before she turned her head and looked at the other girl. She smile slightly and nodded her head. "Nope, most certainly not," she replied with a small shake of her head.
She took a sip of her drink then shifted her position so that her body was facing the other girl. "So, who are you?" She asked cocking a brow in curiosity. "Oh, I'm Fiona, Fiona Watson," she introduced herself quickly. She held her cup in one hand and nearly stuck the other one out for some sort of handshake before hesitating.
What if this girl didn't feel like talking? Oh, well she had already thrown herself out there and Fee wasn't afraid of anything!

Her hesitation led Clarissa to wonder if she was waiting for a friend or other, if her imposition was too troublesome. But before she could apologize, the girl turned to her with a slight smile, "Nope, most certainly not."
With a grateful smile, "Thank you, I appreciate it!" She said, lowering gently into the seat. Holding the cup to her lips with delicate care, she took an appreciative sip of her milk tea. "Mm. She murmured with a discreet glance at her surroundings.. And her neighbor whom she was sitting across from.
Adopting a cheerful voice, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Watson." She said taking the girl's hand in her own.
Leaning back in her chair, "I'm Clarissa. Clarissa Arks." She introduced politely.

"Certainly," Fiona cheerily replied. While the girl liked to keep to herself quite a bit she welcomed the chance to meet someone new. Especially if the person seemed pleasant and friendly which the purple-haired girl did. She nodded her head slightly as the girl shook her hand. "Same," she replied pausing just long enough to get her name, "Ms. Arks."
She took another drink of her latte before turning more towards Clarissa. "You're welcome to just call me Fiona if you'd like, frankly Ms. Watson seems a bit formal," she stated with a small shrug. If the girl wanted to continued to call her Ms. Watson she wouldn't push the matter.
"Have you been in Destiny City long? I don't think I've ever seen you around," Fiona asked. She was sure she'd remember the girl if she had seen her before.

"Haha, a bit." She laughed, tucking a stray lock of purple hair behind her ears. "Call me Clarissa than." She insisted, in return of the girl's kindness.
It took her a few moments to reply as she took the question into consideration. "I doubt that you would have," She began with a knowing smile, "Because I've only recently moved here." In the past few weeks she had arrived, she had only gone out once or twice regretably. Otherwise, she had been too busy with the aftermath of the move.
"But nevermind me." She said with a wave of dismissal, "Tell me about yourself. Have you been here long?"
Though she'd be lying if she said she was happy about this move, she was determined to make the best of her situation. To familiarize herself with her surroundings and acquainting herself with others was certainly a start~

"Oh really?" Fiona asked surprised. It made sense but she couldn't help but be a little surprised. She always was when she met someone from outside of Destiny City. She had spent her entire life here and while she had been out of the city before she occasionally forgot there was an outside world. "Where'd you move from?" She asked before the girl told her to talk about herself
"Oh," she said a little quietly. "Well," she began pressing her lips together in thought. "I've spent my entire life here," she said with a small grin. "It's kinda nice but I hope to travel the world one day," Fee told Clarissa happily. "It's mostly because I want to see what other types of dragonflies I can find," she explained.
Uh-oh, the other girl had got her started on her hobbies and interest, without really meaning to. Oh well.
