The Fire Temple (火ノ寺, Hi no Tera) is a large ninja temple (忍寺, nintera) or shinobi monastery in the Fire Country that strongly resembles the Shaolin Monastery except it as expected contains only Ninja Monks. The monks are led by former Shinobi Guardsmen Chiriku. The Temple is located in an area surrounded on three sides by mountains and a large field to the south. The graves of four of the Twelve Guardian Ninja lie in each of the cardinal directions with the temple in the center.
The Fire Temple has many shinobi working there known as "Guardians" they wear a sash by there waist and protect the temple for it has some of the 9 tails power. The legend goes that one day a young boy who will be known as the "chosen one" will fight for his village, he must be brave and loyal and when he is taken down and comes close enough to death he will be enriched with some of the 9 tails chakra able to go as far as 4 tails. With this new chakra boost he will become much stronger and will be given the strength to save himself and his friends. But if he goes as far as the 4th tail he will lose almost all self control and go wild. Also after the transformation he will be able to use the power again and will have a demon arm which will look like a normal arm but he can willingly change it into a large demon arm with spikes.
The temple is guarded by various seals made by the hokages to ensure its protection until the time is right. Inside the monks are all roughly about the rank of jonins and are highly skilled, each one containing a different class making it difficult to even take on more then one.
