 Odi rested silently in the meadow he and his mate had designated their usual meeting place. It felt weird to be the one waiting but if it meant he got permission from Sin then he'd take it. He still remember having to sit at that tree for nearly three days with cruddy food and no water. Boy, if only she knew.

 ((I just feel like a whipped puppy XD Poor Odi!))Ara's pace was slow, relaxed. She felt unusually calm and at peace today, a feeling made better by the simple fact that she was going to visit her mate. Acting going to visit him, not sneaking around!
Sin's acception, albiet grudging, of their mating had changed a few things for the better. While she and the Elder might never make it past the level of civil acquantices, it was definetly a load of their collective minds.
A breeze floated past Ara, one that had traveled from Cruor lands and through a meadow. It carried Odi's scent to her. Ara smiled and pushed through the last of the shrubery to enter the meadow.
As always the sight of the black, white, and yellow male made her heart lift. She had no idea what punishment Sin had handed down to him, as Odi never mentioned it, but she could see the lingering shadow of the pain it had caused in his eyes. She felt bad for it, convinced it was her fault he had to suffer. Her smile faltered ever so slightly as the guilt washed over her anew.

Odi looked at the ground silently as he waited, finally the wind brought the scent he knew so well to his nose and he knew instantly it was his mate. He stood up quickly as she entered his field of vision and gave her a smile.
He didn't notice her's shrink but only smiled as he walked quickly to meet her half way. Like always he put his nose into her neck and took a long deep whiff of her pelt enjoying all the scents of where she been and her. He would have done another four days just to have this feeling.
"You know it's rude to make your servent wait my queen." He said playfully giving her a soft n** on the ear before rubbing his face against hers. "I missed you. Thought about you the entire time I was at the silence tree."

Ara laughed and nipped Odi back. "I wouldn't call you a servant! More like a consort." She buried her face in his fur and inhaled. It was like an open book for tribe life, though the scents weren't very strong. Many adults, mostly male. A kit, possibly, but she couldn't be sure about that one. The trees, grass, earth, and water of Cruor land.
Ara sighed softly, her breath ruffling the gray fur at Odi's neck, and nuzzled him before she pulled back. "I missed you as well. I wish I could have spared you the punishment." She peered at her mate, checking him over to make sure he was whole. "Has Sin's temper calmed?"

"Oh really my love? Well atleast I'm not the jester." He said moving away before putting his forehead against her's. He knew that she smelled his life back in Curuor, the scent of death that lingered in his pelt hid bloodlust bouts. Something he never wanted her to ask him about. "You been traveling a lot lately?"
He watched as she and had to stifle a chuckle that came at her fearing his punishment. "The only damage I got from my punishment was bordeom and a hungry stomach. I just had to stay at a weeping willow for...three days. Only a mouth full of food but it doesn't matter. It's a punishment mainly for kits and love struck foxes." He joked before his smile left his face.
"From what I can tell, yes. I believe he accepts the fact where mates. Although given a good reason I'm sure he wouldn't mind trying to rip you open. That wouldn't happen, he'd have to go through me first."

"I'm sure I'm not the only one to recieve that honor. Sin has much anger inside him." Ara brushed against Odi to show her appreciation for his words.
She did look up, concerned and frowning. "They left you without food for days? And that's a punishment for kits?!" Her concern was for any future kits they had that would go to live with their father.

Odi only gave a shrug at what she said. "Yeah. I have yet to see it." He said enjoying the feeling of her.
He got a smile at what she said, it wasn't like that. "No you get food. Just not enough. It's mainly uses boredom against you." He said smiling. "It's perfectly safe for kits."

The question didn't really brohter Odi. His own punishment as a child were much more severe. "Well not listening; being bad, or just being a kit." He said shaking his head as he looked at her.
"Or for sneaking off to there lover on to get caught."

Ara chuckled. "Well maybe we're a bad example, but we did have our reasons. Just make sure any of the kits that stay with you behave! I don't want to have to march into Cruor lands to hand out lectures." Her eyes sparkled with mischievous amusement.

"Yes we did, but could you remind me again." He said a smile on his face as he ran his warm body against hers. "I could care less. None of them are me students...at least not yet. I'm mainly sitting around bored. My issue has been...bothering me lately since I haven't been able to let it out." He admitted as he look up at the clouds in the sky, his mouth was lately tasting dry even after he drank his fill.

"I meant our kits in particular," Ara said, playfully nudging Odi. She hmmmed thoughtfully when he mentioned his issue. "Would you like to hunt then? I could always eat, and maybe it would help."

"If they are our kits they better not get into trouble! I'll send them right to their mom." He said nudging her back. "Hunt love? I don't know..." He said frowning then sighing. "Yeah that probably will help." He said streching for a moment.

Ara stretched the muscles in her legs, grinning. "Betcha I can find a bigger deer than you!" She assumed they were hunting big, at least. A rabbit wouldn't be nearly enough to do bloodlust any good.

"The biggest thing you ever caught was me!" He said playfully as he gave a n** to her ear gently and turned to look back into the woods. No mental attacks, he wanted to enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
Although having his mate around made him slightly nervous.
