AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM Name: Levia (meaning "joined" as a tip off towards her ability) Gender: Female Age: 17
Faction/Race Undead/Grombie
Personality: Due to the unfortunate incident of having a grunny attack her brain, Levia has no prior memories from before she became infected with the G Virus. This doesn't bother her, however, as she has lived a fairly quiet life in Halloween town since moving in and it is hard to miss what you never knew. She doesn't know the circumstances that led to the attack or anything about herself, however she has adopted a generally sarcastic and flexible nature. Levia has a somber air about her, but she's not shy or depressing, simply quiet. Though she won't admit it, she's also extremely curious by nature and tends to stick her nose where it doesn't belong. This habit formed as she rediscovered herself as a grombie and understood nothing of what was around her, and so she took to learning in any manner necessary. She enjoys documenting every bit of new thing that she learns and could be likened to a librarian with no sense of when to stop digging, at least until she loses interest. Her hobby one month may be to follow the same creature around everywhere they go asking why they are so darn furry, and the next month switch to observing a worm crawl from one side of the city to the other just to see where it's going.
Levia's first memories after the attack are of being in Halloween Town, so she essentially believes herself to have grown up there. She came to Halloween Town as a refugee, her fellow grombies being shot-gunned almost to extinction in the course of just a few nights, however she has no memories of even this as it's mostly a blurred haze of acting by instinct alone. Levia had no form of self consciousness until the G virus completely integrated with her body, which is why her earliest memory is of waking up already in the town. Due to the nature of the attack, she is physically incapable of ever truly regaining her memories, though perhaps a few emotionally charged ones may come back with the right prompts.
Her only possession from her prior life aside from the clothes on her back is a cell phone, but she has no battery charger (and obviously no service) so has never seen how it works. Though she remembers nothing of even having had a past life, she does find it curious that she has no memories of a childhood or family, so she feels that something must have happened to cause her to forget growing up. The phone is a symbol of this mystery of her non-existent past, which pokes at her curiosity. Her decision on whether or not to pursue what her past was will depend on how she is influenced at school with how she grows and makes choices.
Living in Halloween Town, as well as being partly undead, Levia's sense of morals are attuned to that of the city, so if she were to come across a creature terrorizing a little child, she'd note it as normal and go along her way. Having a segment of her soul left as being part-undead, Levia is able to stop herself from going on mindless killing sprees, but she won't exactly care if someone is getting mugged unless she knows them already.
She will leave others alone and stay out of their way (curiosity snooping doesn't count, she would say in her defense, as she's not actually going up to someone to pester them, she's politely going behind their back to do it) so as to avoid any confrontations. Levia's skill in fighting leaves much to be desired, so she's not too keen on stirring up any hard feelings, especially as zombies are at the bottom of the social food chain. Her natural apathy works well with this, however, so it's not like she's cowering when others go by, but rather she knows when to shut her mouth. Her own temper is quite mellow as she doesn't really have any pet peeves. There are too many strange creatures with too many strange habits in this town to form a pet peeve over anything and still remain neutral. If confronted by an annoying situation, she'd likely just sigh and write it off as typical for whoever is present.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Levia wishes to travel around more and to return to the fleshy world in which she originated from just for the experience. She's not actually interested in becoming a creature of terror (she figures if people whip out shotguns for her, then she's scary enough as is), but her curiosity is her primary drive.
FEAR: ((To understand Levia's ability, let me do a quick recap on what the G Virus is.
The G Virus was created to combine things together in the land of Gaia. Gambino and his labtechs were experimenting with this, where they combined bunnies with the color green in order to create grunnies. There is also an instance in which Gambino is able to combine himself with his son Gino, though due to the instable nature of the virus this resulted in their separation and ended with a particularly large explosion.))
Levia is able to join two things together if she bites it, however the effect is only temporary. If she bites someone's hand, for example, and then they grab a metal pipe, the pipe will fuse with their hand. Not like glue, but the actual molecules join together so if they tried to pull it off it'd be pulling at their own skin and can cause damage to themselves if they rip it off. Of course, such a situation would likely not help to have someone go from a hand to a hard metal pipe that can't be knocked away..
This is only if she can get close enough to someone to bite them, and it can be difficult to have them join with something that would actually be to her advantage. She only has to bite one thing and it will be enough to join with something else, and though biting harder surfaces still works, it makes the joint effect last a shorter time. There is a minor explosion when the separation occurs, but it's quite weak and likely only to cause a small bruise around the area.
Due to how her fear ability works, Levia can use it either offensively or defensively, however it's not particularly effective either way. Perhaps if she has a super buff partner she can 'build' them a giant weapon of Katamari goodness, but otherwise her current fighting style is to depend on luck. She will likely lose most fights, so she tries not to antagonize others.
Starting out, Levia will probably run around tirelessly and hope to survive with minimal damage. She has no battle plans and goes with the flow by adapting however a situation goes. If her opponent is a physical fighter, she will have a better chance of biting them and trying to shove them into a wall or to the floor. If her opponent uses distance attacks, she currently has no way of retaliating other than biting a rock, chucking it, and hope she hits an eyeball.
As she gains more experience, Levia's constant running around will have allowed her to become more confident in her own balance to perform a few more simple acrobatics that doesn't just consist of dropping to the ground and rolling over a few times to avoid getting stepped on. She will begin to adapt to tactics such as letting her opponent wear themselves down, biting objects and sticking it to them and over time many items might weigh them down and cause them to be more sluggish, or perhaps try to trap their limbs to themselves to limit their movement. If she is able to wear them down enough to enable her to get close to her opponent, she can trap them to a wall or floor. The length of time in which things are combined lengthens a bit, and the explosion of separation is a bit stronger (upgraded from a bruise to something that looks like you scraped your knee tripping on the sidewalk.)
With even more time and experience, Levia will learn to use her fusion ability through her saliva rather than being limited to biting. This greatly increases the amount of what she can do as she can lick projectiles or spit on her hands so that she no longer has to directly stick her face up to something. If her spit dries up, the fusion effect is no longer active, and she doesn't have infinite saliva so if a battle goes on long enough she may have to resort to biting. She can collect her spit throughout the day in little vials if she wants to create a backup supply to use for future battles.
Levia is not completely undead as a grunny did not permanently attach itself to her, so she does not have the extra strength that other zombies might have, and she is also not completely soulless. While her smell isn't going to be of flowers and rainbows, her body doesn't have the same sort of rot as other zombies due to the G virus, so her skin and muscles won't peel away over time. Her natural ability also allows her to be able to reattach her limbs should she suffer such a wound.
Physical Description: With a strict diet of brains, Levia is fairly average in her body build. Eye Colour: Red, a side effect of the grunny attack. Hair Colour/Style: A pale strawberry blonde. It used to all be long, but the back of her skull had been mauled badly so her hair there is now shorter as it grows out. Skin Colour: Ashen pale skin. Clothing Style/Colours: Anything is fine, but her clothes would likely worn and held by zippers and safety pins. Extra: Across her body lay scars in sets of four, as if from a small paw.. References: Original design. Taken from wiki.

She doesn't seem to have any conflicting personality traits, which is good! I'm mainly wondering about her as a grombie.
Back story __Since she grew up in Halloween Town: what was she before the grombie attack? Since Halloween Town is made of monsters/creatures and such I believe that means she would have had to be one before the change?
__How/when was she bitten? When she was a baby, a child? I ask this because she grew up in Halloween Town so doesn't that mean she would have to be a young resident around being bitten? I know ghosts have no idea about their past life and aren't supposed to think about it, but I'm not sure how it is with undead. I think if there is any problem about her learning her past the staff would bring it up with accepting anyway.
__I know in your plot she's not supposed to know, but it would be helpful if we knew a little. Could you shed a little light on it? o u o
__Also, does she happen to have a family or guardian?
Fear __Her fear ties in great with what's happened to her! Usually after a fear is put out it's good to determine if it's a damage or support kind of thing. How would you describe it in a battle-move sense? (Ex. Chance to boost her or the enemies ability, etc.)

Thank you for the critique <3
When I said grew up in, I mean in relative terms. Having lost her memory, she doesn't know where she actually 'grew up' at, so Halloween town is what she considers as her home town even though she's already a teenager at the point she comes in at and despite being born elsewhere. So like most other undead, she was just a regular fleshy human before. I'll try and reword this in the form ^^
Her history isn't anything major, she was just a regular human with a family and a significant other, though the reason she becomes a grombie is kinda sad. Her personality and everything is wiped out from becoming a grombie so I didn't think it'd be too relevant for her current standing as it's not a history she's able to build off of. As she is now, however, she has no family (or knowledge of any family) so she's been living on her own. She doesn't even know how she ended up at Halloween town as the early part of her memories are hazy there. ((But considering humans banded together in the masses and killed grombies, I figure that she was hunted down during that whole incident along with other grombies and is just one of the few to survive. She would have wandered to Halloween town as a refuge, but having just been turned she's not aware of what's going on or such which is why her memory is hazy at this part. She's not fully conscious of herself here as the virus is still adjusting with her body, but once she adapts to it that's when she becomes self aware and can start having memories again))
Her fear isn't actually very good in battle XD Because she has to stick her face up to her opponent and hope not to be knocked off her feet it's not very practical as an attack. And in defense there's not exactly much she can do other than maybe bite a chair to the floor and hope her enemy trips over it. So basically her ability can be used either offensively or defensively, but it's luck based on what she can find around her that may or may not help her. And since she doesn't have the strength of other zombies, she's already at a disadvantage. I figure she'll get more creative over time, but for now she's a terrible fighter XD

My turn! My turn!! biggrin
Overall she looks really great. She's got a good personality that is defined but also doesn't entirely alienate her from people (which for rping, is kind of needed!). She's got history and I love the art you've done of her. The only real question I have is about her being a grunnie. (If you've asked a mod about this, ignore me. XD ) But I know grunnies stem from Gaia-world and Halloweentown is based in the off part of the human world. So in the Human/ Halloweentown world, do grunnies exist?
But for her FEAR, its good to think of it in terms of pokemon. (Ha ha, that's how its being described by everybooody~) So with her FEAR to bite things and fuse them, how can that be used in attack form? I'm sure when you're approved and working toward enrollment the mods will go over it with you in better detail, but its something to think of for now!
Alright, that's it. Sorry its not very long, but you're looking really good. Good luck! biggrin

Well, haven't actually asked on if grunnies exist or not : x But I figure if we have creepy crawlies and things of mythology running around that sticking in a grunny wouldn't be too out of place.
I'll go ahead to try and define her attacks a bit more, maybe break it into each of the three years there to have a guideline. Hrm, perhaps as a final year skill she can merge herself with another person for a short time to increase strength or something? That'd be really fun to work out with random rp partners for a 2 vs 2 battle, but not really sure if that's too complex or not to work with. Or perhaps it goes to just her saliva is able to join things so she can spit on her hands or a needle tip or something instead of having to stick her head somewhere. Will need to think on it a bit o.<
Thank you for your help! <3

I have to agree with most of the comments so far, you have been able to avoid the toughest question for the undead, "how did they get to Halloween town?"
is there anything in Halloween Town that would break Elvia out of her normal mood? Around an electric mage would she be trying to convince one to charge her phone?
also, what is her rate of decay, would she need to eat a brain every month or so?

Grumbie xp.
Personality: She seems to adapt to her surrounding very well so that is a plus. I don't really know what to say on her personality just a few question. -Does she have some side effects of the attack like a fear of some sort against like lab coats or what not? -Will she gain some of her memories through out rps and will her personality change because of it?
Fear: It does seem to be more harmful than helpful to her. Maybe her saliva can do the same effect or may break down bonds. Since she a fusion her bodily fluids like blood and saliva can make a person's finger fall off.

Valendal - To begin, thank you for the crit! That was a surprise =o
Levia isn't really searching for the phone to be charged at this point. She doesn't know how it operates and even if someone did explain it to her, she wouldn't know what to do with it. She carries it around as it's an unexplained factor, which her curiosity of course won't let her just toss it. If the phone ever does get a charge, it likely wouldn't have service anymore so she'd have to find another phone to use to call the numbers at. If it does get activated, her decision on whether to call those numbers to learn of what connections she had will depend on her RPs at school and how she grows and how her experiences at school have influenced her, so that's not something I've set in stone.
Hm, haven't really thought of a time frame on how often she needs to eat. I figure that she can eat any sort of brain, even from an animal (human is best of course <3) so long as it's relatively fresh. Perhaps once a week..? But can survive up to a month with no food before her body becomes really hard to move..?
HaT - She actually doesn't remember the attack itself, so she has no fear of bunnies or labcoats or anything. Right now my thoughts on her memory is that she can never regain them due to the nature of the attack and the virus. She can learn of her past as if hearing a story, but she won't have those same emotional connections as if she has lived it. I may change this for rp purposes in the future, but right now I don't have any intention of such. Maybe she can regain a ffeeww memories if there's a strong emotional connection.
Now, she may be able to remember the attack itself as the virus started to effect her, but it would be fairly difficult and she'd need strong reminders. It's like how you don't remember being born, she doesn't remember the point 'til she got to town and she adapted to the virus (I think I mentioned that in another reply but didn't specify that in the form so will edit it in).
On her fear, I don't think it'd fit as well to break down bonds due to how the G virus works. It's just a matter of getting creative, I thought it'd be a bit of a fun challenge with such a disadvantageous ability. Starting out she won't know what to do, but as she gets more creative maybe she can bite her opponent's hand and slap it to his face so they a) can't see and b) are one hand less likely to hit her, or other such tactics.
Thanks for the comments <3

Call me val, I like to see unique undead, and that fact that you have a gaia tie in is really cool. XD
On thing I want to comment on is her memory, because she doesn't know about her past to the point that she doesn't even know that she had a past life, what is the reason she keeps the phone? Maybe she would know that she has lost something important? Something that keeps her wandering about Halloween town.

Val - Your avatar is tragically creepy, by the way <3
I think I had mentioned in one of my revised writings that she keeps the phone due to her curious nature. She knows that she she is missing something as she can remember nothing before one day being a teenager in Halloween Town, she just doesn't know to what degree she's missing out on things. Levia would be aware that she must've had something happen to make her lose her memories, and she is curious on that to a degree, but she doesn't lose any sleep over it. The phone is a symbol of that mystery of the something she may or may not have lost, and while she's not actively pursuing it, she's still curious of its origins and keeps it for that. I'll go ahead and edit in a few more touches on the phone~
And with all the crits I think I've doubled the length of the form XD
