Today Tizzy had a class planned that could be deemed 'controversial' in nature. However, given she wasn't particularly prone to moral discussions, being an android and all, the teacher had decided to go through with the lesson anyway. There were big round bullseyes painted on special paper across the room at varying intervals and a special wall area set up between them. She had headphones, protective eyewear, and a gun, which she would be teaching her student about.
Honestly, teaching a seven of seven child to shoot a gun was probably a questionable idea, but since when had that ever stopped Tizzy? It was a practical skill to learn and it would teach the girl much better hand-eye coordination - or at least how to aim. So really, there wasn't much harm in it, particularly if she was taught the safety precautions. However, Tizzy was prepared to pull out a different lesson, should her student be completely adverse to the idea of learning to shoot.

Nina had opted to walk most of the distance to the facility for her class this time around. Despite the fact that the girl had been angry with her guardian the number of other times he had dropped her off at the place for classes, that wasn't the fact this time around. There was much too many thoughts swimming around in her mind, and she figured the stroll alone may do her some good. Far too much had gone on in these past few weeks, all of which Ephron was aware of, so he made little effort to get her to reconsider her decision. Instead, he offered a meek smile, trying to reassure her with a comment, "That's okay, I've got a few errands to run and need to do some more job hunting. I'll meet you right here after your class, and we can head home." No, he didn't know when that would be, but he was fairly certain that he probably wouldn't take as long as Nina would anyway.
At least it wasn't a terribly warm day, that was something Nina could be grateful for. Her scarf bunched around her mouth, as if it were some sort of barrier from the rest of the world, she made her way to the facility in little time. Most of this was due to the fact that she was running on auto-pilot, lost in thought, but there was the edge of the determination to get the little stroll over with. So far, Nina hadn't really taken a dislike to any of her teachers, so what little fear she had in that respect was quickly smothered. As long as she didn't have a run-in with many techs, she would be just fine.
It didn't take her long to find the class, having wandered down similar halls many times over. She knocked on the door before she entered, sliding careful steps in through the door out of habit. "Hello, I'm here for the class? It's Nina," she called into the room as her scarf slid from her mouth, hand still holding onto the side of the door. Her eyes scanned the room, taking in the odd sight. She recognized the targets right away, but the thought didn't really register into her own mind that they might be set up for her own class.

Tizzy smiled her strange forced and cold, yet still decently reassuring smile, and nodded. "Hello Nina, welcome to call. I am Tizzy."
She gestured to the back of the room, "My planned lesson for you will be the proper operation of a ranged firearm, particularly, in this case, a handgun. It will help your coordination and aim, as well as teach you the proper care that goes with such a weapon, should you ever find yourself needing to use one." the woman spoke in a blank monotone, stating her words clearly and making sure she would be understood, "if you are uncomfortable with the subject matter or morally opposed to it, we can, however, do a different lesson. You are also welcome to try and leave if you find you really do not like handling the firearm or how dealing with it makes you feel. It is a rather mature lesson and one that is to be taken seriously."

Something was slightly off about the teacher, but Nina was unable to pinpoint what exactly threw off the girl's assurance on the matter. She was still determined in her mindset, this didn't change, but her steps seemed more careful now. "Nice to meet you, Tizzy," she replied, trying not to stutter uncomfortably. As an afterthought, she pulled lightly on the length of her scarf, asking, "Would it be better to take this off before getting started?" Though Nina felt more comfortable nowadays with the article on, she knew that it may be seen as a similar nuisance as hats were to some teachers.
She froze when the lesson was explained to her, unsure if it was a joke or not. The lack of emotion in Tizzy's voice quickly convinced the girl otherwise, as her eyes fixed to the back of the room to which her teacher had motioned. It seemed like something that Nina would gladly take up learning, but she couldn't help wondering if it was even legal. She couldn't help remaining stunned until Tizzy had asked if she would prefer a different lesson, at which Nina quickly rose her hands and shook her head quickly, "No, no, this is good! Might take a little to warm up, but I'm sure I can do this!" She wanted to ask some questions on the matter, but after they had graced past her mind, they quickly evaporated from memory. Perhaps later; they must not have been very important, anyway. Instead, she went back to reassurance as she stood firmly, "I won't get carried away, and I'll listen to instruction." Although she wouldn't normally state that outright, with a lesson of such... caliber, she found that it would probably be best to state intentions at the beginning. She was here for a lesson, nothing more, and would keep that in mind.
Squinting, the preteen tried to determine how far away the targets were. They seemed so tiny at a distance, she wasn't sure she could hit the middle before time was up -- not that the thought deterred her from trying. With a nod and a smile, she asked, "Shall we get started?"
