Amarante had nothing to do today, just how she liked it. Being able to laze about in the grass, listening to her chunes with no bothersome Mary-Sues to tick her off to the next level. Her feet naturally took her down the stairs of the pound, towards the door without sparing a glance towards the other children living there and over the field to a tall tree, eyes taking to the shadowed branches. Nope, no one. It was good for now. That damn clueless brain in a jarhead was no where to be seen. Even though she would never admit it, she was fond of him. Only a little! If he was to ever find out she would never hear the end of it. With a wide stretch out, a blank expression held the teen fell backwards, hitting the grass like a soft blanket, freezing in one position and not moving.
The sound of loud music sounded through the air, only leading to the lone female. This was where her family used to come together, to play seeing as it wasn't too far from the river. The old days... They were long gone by now.

Julius was on the prowl. It wasn't abnormal for his to be hunting around for one thing or another. Today though, he was looking for the rather easilly aggravated Amarante. She was wildfire and she amused him to no end. Especially since she still thought he was one of the most idiotic people in the world. Oh the expressions on her face when he snapped out a witty 'lucky' comment. He chuckled to himself as he headed out the pound doors keen eyes scanning the surrounding area. She wasn't hard to spot, bright purple, spots, black. It stood out against the bright blue of the sky and the sharp greens of the grass.
He moved quickly and with purpose, his feet nearly soundless against the ground. His ears perked, his movements exact, he snuck toward the tree. Just a few more steps... Quickening his pace as he grew closer he prepared to pounce upon her when his foot caught in a root sending him flying toward the ground in a completely graceless move. With a loud thud he hit the ground on his stomach, releasing a wheezing oof. Maybe acting silly was actually starting to take off his edge...

It wasn't till the air head created a thud on the ground that Ama turned her head slowly to the side to stare at the fool now next to her. With a smirk, she sat up and removed the earphones, shaking her head.
"Lookie here. A jester has graced me with amusement!" She snickered, pulling herself around and lifting a foot, placing it on his head and leaning her elbow on her knee. Looking down at him.
"Thought you could sneak up on me? Eh?" Ama asked, lifting a brow. "You'll have to do better than that."
Though, she would of actually never known that he was there if he hadn't of tripped like that.

"I thought I'd give it a try, but apparently my grace has failed me today," he stated with a grunt, pushing himself up and dusting his shirt off. He looked over at her a small smile playing across his lips, "It took me ages to find you, what are you doing out here all alone?"
He took a seat beside her and brushed his white locks out of his eyes with a wince. Apparently even he could be hurt by something as silly as a fall, his elbow was killing him.
