 Ixen followed Doku’s scent. He wanted to explain things. He felt bad about making Doku leave but he had a horrible feeling about Doku still. Ixen didn’t know what was behind the smirk he saw before, but it was still eating at him. Whatever it was it had to do with Yuki. There was no way Ixen would tolerate anything harming Yuki. Ixen didn’t give a darn if Doku was a tribe member or not. Yuki was his main concern.
Picking his way amongst the trees Ixen tried to think about what to say. He had already made an a—of himself already and didn’t want to repeat the impression. Sin would probably have a few things to say to him when he headed back to the tribe as is.

(i'm going to pretend he sent Dakari back cause in the tribe thread he has the kit with him)  Doku was laying by the tree at the edge of Cruor lands where he had first meet his mate. He pawed at the spot where he had pulled out the herb that had been there that had brought them together. He was trying to focus his mind on her and not the tribe or the fox Ixen. He was truly pissed off at the fox.

(makes sense)
Ixen finally caught up to where Doku was. He saw Doku at the foot of a tree and the green fox was pawing at the ground. That was odd. Ixen had thought Doku was the type to take out his anger on something not looking quite so.. sullen. Had he been that wrong in his first impression of Doku?
Ixen quitely sat down quite some distance away from the green fox and cleared his throat loudly.

Doku jerked his head up as someone clearing their throat snapped him out of his thoughts about his mate. When he seen that it was Ixen he growled as his eyes flashed while he bared his teeth. He didnt really want to deal with the male right now. He just wanted to be alone. He was thinking the male just wanted to continue the insult and he didnt want to deal with it.

I'm sorry. Ixen took in Doku's growl and exposed fangs in stride; after all after being such a jerk he deserved it didn't he? Ixen's tone was very subdued as he continued. The fact is I feel like you know a secrete about Sin and Yuki that could upset the whole tribe. Personally the effect of the whole tribe doesn't seem as bad to me as the effect it could have on Yuki. My behavior was unacceptable regardless of how I feel though. For that I apologize. It's just that I care about Yuki and if anything were to happen to him I-i... Ixen swallowed. He couldn't bring himself to even thing how things would be without Yuki, or with Yuki hurt, much less put those powerful emotions into words. Ixen's ears dropped and he wrapped his tail around one of his hind legs.
For the first time in a very long time Ixen looked like the young adult he really was.

Doku glared at the other fox "Ever hear the saying dont judge a book by its cover?" He eyed the fox. "Yes I know things that will affect the tribe. I doubt anyone would get hurt besides me and maybe Sin. Yuki I dont think would do anything but I wont allow myself to be attacked no matter who it is." Doku stood up and shook himself off moving infront of the place where he had gotten the herb sort of protecting it.

Ixen's head snapped up when he heard Doku mention that he did know a secrete. He heaved a sigh of relief when he heard Doku mention that the secrete would only affect the green fox and Sin. Sin could handle himself no matter the situation.
Yes I have heard of the saying, but I also have heard of the saying 'better safe then sorry'. Ixen shifted in his position. He didn't really want to start another fight. Still I'm glad to hear it's nothing that would hurt Yuki. Ixen smiled at Doku.

"Oh IT will effect Yuki to but he i'm not worried about. Would it hurt him i really dont know. Maybe maybe not it depends on how people act. But I will not back down."Doku warned Ixen. He had liked the fox a little at first. Now he didn't know what to think. "This little secert i know will effect you to. And who's to say by your actions now what effect what happens in the future."

Ixen felt a cold lump in his stomach form. What did Doku know that could hurt Yuki and affect himself? His mouth felt dry and Ixen swallowed hard. He shifted into a what would have been a strong stance had he not been so obviously upset. The image Ixen had in his head was of Yuki in pain. That image didn't sit well with Ixen. He felt weak at the knees and his senses seemed to dim. I don't want to see my mate hurt. He had tried to make his voice strong but it came out as weak and worried.

Doku watched the other fox. He knew he shouldnt be being mean but he still was a bit pissed off and just couldnt help himself. "No one likes to see someone or something they care for hurt."He said coldly.

Ixen's shoulders slumped. He knew full well that was a comment on his rudeness from before and how that could be hurtful to other foxes. I am sorry. Wouldn't you do the same thing if the one who was precious to you could be threatened by another fox? Ixen had been raised by Sin, but dealing with other foxes wasn't really something Sin himself knew much less be able to teach to Ixen.

"There is a difference between a Kit and another grown fox."Doku said eyeing the fox. "Kits you dont take a chance with. Any little thing that could harm it you go on the defense to protect it. It is young and still doesnt know everything that is needed. Another adult fox can defend its self. So there is not needed of such high protection. They can fight and have learned to at least a little bit. Others dont need to get involved untill there is more of a promise of violence to that fox from another."Doku looked him in the eye" There was not. I know the need to be protective. I've raised one kit on my own. Have three of my own now and a mate. I dont trust other foxes worth crap."

Ixen looked at Doku. You’ve raised a kit? Ixen held more respect toward Doku then he had a moment before. Raising kits alone could be work. Thinking over his words Ixen tried to express his feelings but wasn’t quite sure how to go about it. Most adult foxes have defend themselves but when an adult fox is in a vulnerable position, sometimes they need extra protection. I saw you smirk when you saw Sin and Yuki together. I know you know something about those two and it worries me. I don’t quite know why but I feel very protective of Yuki right now, perhaps it’s because he is new to the tribe. That and the fact he is Sin’s younger brother in addition to being my mate. When I saw the smirk I freaked out. For that I’m sorry Doku. Ixen straightened up. He was sorry but he wasn't going to apologize forever.

"Yes, I have raised a kit and i think i did a dam well job. She is nothing like me. She is sweet and kind a bit bold but its good for her. The little queen wont let anyone push her around."Doku said as memories passed through his head the time he spent with her. Doku gave Ixen a dull stare not buying its cause he is new bull crap. "I was not born yesterday you know."He said "I know who they are and what their relationships is."he stated dull before standing up. Shaking his fur out. He was not stupid. Quite yes but not stupid. He observed everything. Which is what made him a good hunter. "They are sibling Sin is old. And I smirk for lots of reasons. They arent all knowing. It could be I seen how someone was positioned and for some reason thought it funny. Or when Sin threaten my life cause I happend to be making smart comments. Odd little things get me to smirk." With that said he began to head toward the edge of everything sniffing the ground to see how well you could smell Unia. He was hopping to cover her sent from the others.

Ixen followed Doku not quite knowing what to say. He knows that they are bothers! Ixen's mind was racing. Did Doku know how vulnerable Yuki was then? Probably. It didn't take a genius to figure out that being Sin's little brother would make Yuki a target by others. The real question was what would Doku do with this information?
Glad to hear that the kit turned out well. Ixen didn't have to fake enthusiasm when he said this. Hearing that kits grew up and were ok made Ixen happy. He even smiled a bit. Hearing that Sin may have threatened Doku didn't phase Ixen in the least. He expected as much from his adoptive father. Ixen kept following Doku. He did notice the smell of another fox. He didn't know who the fox was, but he knew that the fox had some connection to Doku based on how the green fox was stepping from where the other sent was coming from and covering it. Could it be the mate he said he had? or a family member coming to visit? Either possibility made sense. Ixen thought it best to hold the questions aside since it really wasn't his business.
