At the entrance of the village is a very large double door, which is part of the very large wall that runs around the entire village. At the front of the gates is a pair of jonins that watch over who comes in and who comes out. Throughout the wall are posts which jonins patrol with shifts, so there's always a guard on duty. The gates is usually open during the daytime, where the shinobi of the leaf runs missions and erronds throughout the day. Any non-leaf shinobi are stopped and questioned, to determine whether or not they'll be allowed in. Forcefully or sneaking a way in is an act of intrusion and will be punished and interrogated. An attack on a guard will alert the other guards, eventually reaching back to the hokage and the anbu unit. These guards are well capable of protecting the gates long enough for back up to arrive, and they never give up or run away. They are prepared to set their lives down for the Hidden Leaf.

 Ray walked up to the gates, from his journey from sand to leaf. The guards stopped him to ask him what he was doing there for. So he told him that the Kazekage sent him to do a treaty proposal with the Hokage. Then after which the let him pass, although keeping an eye on him, Ray walked into the village and went to see the Hokage. Ray Namikaze - Jounin of Sand

Ray walked up to the entracne of the crevice and talked a little with the guards, and then walked out, heading back to sand. He had to get this to the Kazekag at once. Ray Namikaze - Jounin of Sand

The Kazekage slowly walked to the gates as his Kage coat was dangling from his back as he kept his hat down. The Chunin bodyguards he had that had Suna Headbands on there forehead followed behind closely, keeping guard on him. Katsuro had his hands in his coat as he looked at the Leaf guard that had his eye widen from looking at him. He did not even tried to block him as if the Kazekage was here, it must of been something important. Katsuro walked past the gates as he headed to the training ground, hoping that he could find him there.

Rena did leave a note on a tree with a senbon through it telling his sensei and Yuri that he left so that they knew he was gone.

Arriving at the gates Masaru brought five members of the anbu black ops. Posting them nearby the gate, he gave them the information he just recieved and they understood the protocal. Should the Mizukage come, they'll attack and notify the Hokage. Each one had their own unique element, mastering it up to jonin. As well as assorted taijutsu and other jutsu from the leaf. With that said Masaru departed for the Hidden Sand

Ronnel no Tenshi | S-rank | Medical | CP: 1250  Ronnel stood shortly beyond the gates, a map of the Elemental Nations held in his gloved hands. He was staring at it intently, trying to figure out where he should go next.
"Need to avoid Suna for obvious reasons...Hrm, get the feeling that Kumo would also be an unwise decision..." One gloved finger tapped against his chin as he studied the map. The guards were standing upwind of the silver haired man - as soon as he had arrived at the gates from in the city, they had noticed a powerful odor of alcohol, potent enough that they were getting drunk off the fumes from him. None of them realized that there was a chill wind blowing, whipping the odor away once they were a short distance away from him.
Golden eyes flickered upwards and scanned the treelines. "Bloody hell, I need something to do." For a moment he considered going back to the bar and joining that man, but he figured that Tenketsu would have left by then. He didn't notice that the man was standing a few feet away from him.

"Do not be using that phrase so easily Tenketsu-san. You just met me after all, and all that you know of me is that I'm a drunkard." He shook his head with a tiny smile edging on his lips. "Nevertheless. What is it exactly that you asked me to join you for?" There was a tinge of curiosity in his voice now, another example of how fast he had sobered up after his multi-hour drinking binge.
