History: Rosciel was born the only child of two prestigious demons, a succubus and her lover. He was a beautifully dangerous infant, feathered wings, golden hair, bright blue eyes, and sharp all over. He was just starting to walk when his father's sister attacked his mother's household, deranged into thinking that if she removed the succubus from the picture, her brother would return to the family and restore its honor. The enraged demon tore his mother apart, but couldn't bring herself to kill her nephew as he was her own blood, so she ripped out the eyes that resembled his mother's and set about to tear out his wings when his father came home and intervened. She tried not to fight him, but they eventually ended up killing one another.

Nicodemus was one of his mother's friends, a Nightmare and head of an elite club of demons. Upon the death of his parents, Nic took the young incubus under the wings of the club. There, Rosciel learned how to see without his eyes, though he is incapable of normal reading and writing, and the very basic principles of FEAR. What he also gained was a teenager's arrogance, back-talking attitude, and laziness. Now, while a few in the club found this amusing, even endearing, Nic was soon at his wit's end and in a last-ditch effort to set him straight, he enrolled Rosc into the Academy.

Rosc's Vision
Can See - Objects and their physical surfaces (Meaning he can see faces and expressions), textures, shadows, and reflections (These are less formed and look more like vague shadows, so he hates mirrors)
Cannot See - Colors, patterns, anything printed*

(*Yes, he can read raised lettering, brail, and chalk with a little extra effort)

Rosc's Vision v2.0
By concentrating very hard on printed words, he can make out the words well enough to read. Doing so tunes out his normal vision because he has to focus on the print, and concentrating so hard on it results in a headache (Hence why he doesn't like reading)

Rosc's Room (I think it shows a bit more of his character)
In the words of a friend of mine, Spartan.
Sparse furniture (Desk, bed, chair, windowseat, a few tables and a footstool) of similar wood style but no pieces (except a pair of bedside tables) matching in color.
All cloth pieces are soft and comfortable, picked out by him through touch. Curtains, bed-linens, and cushions only match because Nic helped.
There's a drawer with a few personal effects in it and a walk in closet, but besides that it's a pretty uninhabited-looking room. The only thing that really stands out apart from the tacky mismatch of wood and lack of mirrors is the dark cello by the window and the black PreC on his desk. He needs a speech program in order to use it.

Or the same thing only in shades of black and white and gray.

Family
Nicodemus (Nightmare): Nic is Rosc's true guardian. He finds the young incubus annoying, stubborn, and completely full of himself. Now, while he secretly approves of this behavior, that doesn't mean he wants it directed at him. He does his best to train Rosc, but even with the help of the other club members, he's coming to his wit's end.
Akariel (Kitsune): Akariel was often the instigator whenever Rosc was up to mischief. He genuinely likes the boil and they get along almost like brothers despite the large difference in age.
Namshiel (Sloth Demon): Nameshiel was probably the first one to decide that Rosc needed a hobby besides driving all the club members insane. He figured music was the best course of action. Under his "wing," Rosc learned to play the piano but found it boring and ultimately threatened to break it the next time Nam told him to sit down for a lesson.
Rosanna (Greed Demon): His major female "parent," Rosanna looks out for him as if he was her own son. In fact, she is quite possessive of him and fights Nic the hardest whenever he threatens to kick the boil out. She was the one who picked up where Namshiel left off with the music lessons. She instead took Rosc to a music store and had him pick out whatever instrument he'd like from a list that she knew how to play. Ultimately, he picked the cello and she taught him how to play it.

Mini-Pets
Surprisingly enough, Rosc is very fond of his minipets. Because they depend on him and only have a concept of loyalty, specifically to him, he has no trouble letting them free in his room no matter what he's currently doing. More often than not, they're found on his bed with him when he sleeps, Prancer at the foot because of his size.

Ripley - The Curious
Ripley gets into EVERYTHING. She's a very pleasant, affectionate foxsquirrel, and spends most of her time sticking her nose where it shouldn't go. She's often the cause of Bob getting out of the closet, for as soon as she goes running in there to find something interesting or follow Alvilda for some reason unbeknown to Rosc, out comes the blasted crow.
She's the only one that wants to leave Rosc's room that has his permission to do so. If Prancer goes about, Rosc doesn't know about it half the time and if he could forbid Bob from ever leaving his room, he would in a heartbeat. Ripley, on the other hand, is usually allowed to ride about curled up in Rosc's coat pocket as long as she behaves herself.


MC - The Cat
The easiest way to describe MC is a cat. He lazes about, treats Rosc like his servant and/or heating pad. He spends most of his time lying on Rosc's windowseat. When the incubus is around, MC enjoys spending time in his lap for the warmth and what little attention he'll get.
*MC was a gift from Rosanna. No one has yet to tell him what color MC actually is.






Prancer - The Problem
Prance likes to make trouble. Not terrible trouble, but rather things like displacing things for the hell of it, though usually not Rosc's things out of respect. He's a manipulative and clever beast with a wonderful poker-face, who knows how to get what he wants and bothering his master usually isn't one of them.
*Prancer was a gift from Nic, who thought the Reigndeer would behave... or teach Rosc responsibility or something. Yeah, he was wrong.





Spend Most of Their Time in the Closet
Alvilda - The Thief
If Prancer displaces things, Alvilda downright steals them. It's not a compulsion or a need to have things, more of a way to amuse herself. Whatever it is that she took is usually returned soon after. As a lepus, she often sneaks out of Rosc's room to join up with more of her pirate brethren to go on large-scale acts of thievery.
Around Rosc, she acts very much like MC, though much more affectionate.
She comes out of the closet whenever she feels like and has the opportunity to do so.
She didn't actually lose her right eye or anything and can actually see fairly well through the cloth. She takes it off whenever around Rosc.



Bob - The Idiot
He's always doing something to piss Rosc off. He's a pervy old crow who enjoys watching the girls of the school. Especially the fearleaders.
Bob is the only one that doesn't join the others on Rosc's bed at night, specifically because he has his own nest on top of the wardrobe.

Ban - The Trickster
Ban is by far Rosc's favorite. She plays tricks on anyone she can get her paws on, except for Rosc. She's loyal to her master and often chases Bob and MC about when they are causing trouble.
*Ban was a gift from Akariel. She was to replace him in encouraging Rosc into mischief-making.

while i love his weakness i'm quite confused why he lost his eyes in the first place. was he born without them or did he lose them when his parents were murdered? o u o

maybe a stasis spell?
though i'm not entirely sure why he would have wings, specially white feathered ones.

oh i see, though i don't really know any western demons with wings at all. o. o
but in my opinion, which you can ignore if you want, is that demons rarely have white wings because it symbolizes purity. usually when a demon is portrayed with white wings or seen as pure it's because of an illusion they cast to appear that way.

usually if they do pretend to be an angel or something similar they're hunted down by "good" creatures. though i really just make this up in my head, i don't really have factual proof of this with myths.

are you implying that he also has shape-shifting powers?

for fear i think what he has now is ok, though it could have more explanation on how much his vision worsens when he activates it. and how he would approve as he becomes a second year would be good too.

and illusion would be an ok natural ability as long as you limit it to one or two things and not combat oriented.
