She could see the borders from here. Sitting in the grass, Mzuka stared blankly at the borders of the Arba'Sehemu. She had thought that she was confident enough to finally go in and accept life there, like her father had said, but she had stopped herself just a few hundred yards away from it. It was a hard pill to swallow, for sure, but she knew it would be for the best.
She just wanted to...stay here for a little while longer, that was all.
Huffing in obvious frustration, Mzuka fell onto her back, staring up at the big blue sky, hoping that some magical answer would fall from it. In the end, she just needed to suck up her pride and go. And who knows, maybe she'd actually end up really liking it there? Because, it was her idea to go in the first place. Maybe this was just some subconscious rebellion that would hopefully pass after a few days. Hopefully.
Wiggling her paws back and forth in the air above her, her brown coat blended in perfectly with the surrounding area. If anyone were to come by, all they'd see were two little paws dancing just above the tips of the grass.

Paws. Yup. Those were paws there, waggling about just above the grassline. How funny! Eh'liot sat back on his bum, eyes just above the grassline, and giggled. Used to being around cubs and youths mainly this was a common sight. Of course usually cubs would be totally hidden by grass this tall. Hmm! He should go and look to see what ever could be going on!
Eh'liot, you see, was a helper. He had no home to call his own, nor family or friends. Well, maybe friends. He repeatedly made friends with lonely individuals or those who needed some help along their way, did whatever he needed to to perk them up or see them right, and then went rolling along again. He only stayed as long as he was needed. Why? Well there were so many people in need, as much as it hurt to leave friends behind, he just had to.
He didn't imagine anyone as happy as the paw-wagger would need help, but he was awfully lonely. That didn't mean he wasn't going to smile though! Good first impressions and all that. With a big friendly grin he poked his head into view. Aha! It was a...a...well he wasn't sure! She kinda looked like a lion, but was all pretty and thin like a cheetah. Well fancy that! "Hello there! You sure seem happy today! I saw your paws!"

(( Really really really sorry about the delay on this. ;n; Po is made of fail......I'm still very interested in the plot, though, as her other plot seems to be moving again. x3 You can pm me if you'd like. x3 ))
From this angle, the sky seemed so vast. Mzuka wondered if maybe she'd get lost under this big, never-ending sky...
Her paw movement slowed for a moment as she became quite absorbed in her own thoughts. Her ear twitched, sensing sound long before her mind registered it. "Hm?" Rolling over, Mzuka looked up to see a.....green cheetah. It was pretty cute, though, with that pink tuft of fur on top. She'd never seen a cheetah outside her own family, so she was quite intrigued by him.
"You saw my paws?" Looking a little bewildred, Mzuka usually wasn't the type to be spotted on the savannah- her coat usually blended in fairly well. His comment made her feel...rather special, actually.
"I am happy! Well, I'm bored right now, but happy nonetheless." Laughing, she sat down in front of him. "I'm Mzuka." Turning her head to the side a little, it felt kind of odd and embarrassing introducing herself to someone who seemed to be around her age, just a little older.

Eh'liot smiled and sat back on his rump again to mirror this new friend. Yes, she certainly was something odd. A girl for sure, he could tell, but he'd never seen a...lion-cheetah before. Were they called Liontas? Or Cheetons? Hmm. Both were very singy-songy names.
"Oh yes. Your paws were sticking up over the grass. I saw them waving, so I came to say hi! Usually when someone waves, you should wave back after all!" He chuckled at his joke and waved a paw to her. "Happy is good. I'm happy too!" He looked around. "Don't be bored. Hmm, you wanna play a game? That'd keep you from being bored, right?"
"Mzuka! That's a nice name. I bet you can't guess what mine is!" He grinned eagerly. He could help with boredom! He did wonder what this nice girl was doing out here by herself, but he could save that for after he made sure she was really happy.
