Faction/Race: Monsters - Behemoth/Bahamut
* Bahamut is the Arabic version of Behemoth. For the purposes of this app/character, I am going with standard Behemoth myth/legend/lore but I have no problems with dragon/Bahamut physical influence. I am going with Behemoth as a giant dragon, not some other giant land creature (some versions mention Behemoth as a massive ox-type creature and Leviathan as a giant whale-type creature, which is frankly far too boring, I like my giant land- and sea-dragons).
Personality: Kai is a pretty simple-minded beast - rather literally. He hasn't graduated past the child-like "want, have" mentality. Everything can be divided into "want" or "do not want" categories, and what he wants, he immediately tries to have. Social niceties and the opinions of others don't really filter through - not in a mean or ignoring-you fashion, it just doesn't occur to Kai that they should count. He's a pretty happy kind of guy, if only because he lives his life that way, doing what he wants and taking what he wants (or trying to). He not one for boundaries, whether that means forbidden areas, personal space, privacy... If he likes you, he will be in your face in an enthusiatic, probably very annoying manner. (PS. Please don't feed the animals Behemoth, it will follow you home.)
Very active by nature, Kai comes off as an unstoppable force (at least until meeting the proverbial immovable object). He will happily drag people along with him, or use his size to forge a path for himself. He likes physical fights, but it's usually all in good spirits (at least on his part). He's not interested in fighting those he judges at his own level - he'd rather pick a fight with something bigger and stronger in the hopes of proving he's top dog, and has nothing against squishing those he judges too far beneath him. Of course, since he's not the brightest, he often misjudges and tries to flatten something that is actually much more powerful than it looks... If he doesn't appear interested in a fight, it's not that hard to provoke him. Insults work well, as long as he understands them. Some go over his head, and others may be misunderstood to be compliments ("you stupid, barbarian brute!") and receive a huge, fangy grin and "thank you!" in return.
Kai has a soft spot for his family, which extends into preferential treatment for dragons or dragon-like beings. Countering that is a deep-seated wariness of water creatures (and large bodies of water since water monsters may inhabit those), which he tries to hide but isn't so successful considering his face is an open book.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Kai is... a rather useless Behemoth. Or rather, a very stereotypical one - all brawn, no control. With him being such a throwback, it was decided by the dragons who raised him(*) that he will be Properly Educated. Goddamit. Though he is very motivated to learn how to transform into a less-puny Behemoth form, so classes that focus on control have almost as much interest for him as those about more offensive subjects.
* Kai has never known another Behemoth, and has no idea if any others exist, or if he is the only one alive. He was found as an egg and raised by a clan of dragons, so he does tend to think of himself as more of a (failure of a) dragon at times than a Behemoth.
FEAR: Spitfire
Kai would like to say that he has the ability to spit out flaming meteors at his opponent. That would be a lie. Instead he can hack up a fiery spitball - somewhere between the size of a golf ball and a tennis ball on a good day, and on bad days more the size of a marble. He can spit it further than a normal being can spit, but more than a few metres is pushing it.
Weakness: Being somewhat magical in nature, it takes Kai a while to build up to this attack. He has to stand there for a full minute or so, hacking it up before he can launch it at his opponent. Hitting him during that time will lose him some progress - though not all of it, unless you manage to knock him out or incapacitate him completely.
Natural Ability: Behemoth Shapechange
Kai can assume a more natural Behemoth form at will, though he doesn't have much control over it at this stage. Instead, it is a mostly randomised process as to what dragonic form he can assume - initially you are faced with... tiny dragon of epic uselessness, sometimes randomised into tiny dragon of slightly less uselessness, and if you are uber lucky or high levelled you eventually randomise in Giant Dragon of Badassness.
He is nowhere near achieving Giant Dragon of Badassness. Mostly, Kai is a fairly useless baby dragon around the size of a large dog - and sure, he has claws and fangs, but there's more strength in his forced-human form. At this stage, there is a rare slightly-less useless form, the size of a horse, covered in spikes and spines that may be recognisable from his humanoid form... Baby dragon form can glide, but not fly. Spiky dragon form has spiky, useless wings - though if he falls, he is more likely to damage whatever he lands on than he is to injure himself, yay?

Hair Colour/Style: Fashionable mullet, spiky on top, long at the back - by "fashionable", I mean, think Koujaigi or Seiten-Taisei-mode Goku from Saiyuki or something like that, not ugly human mullets *shudders* Rust-red in colour.

Clothing Style/Colours: (remember everything is Halloween-ish)
Extra: I am up for a less glamorous dragon appearance, so feel free to have spikes or spiny bits poking through his skin, random 'dragon' bits on a humanoid, you know? I am all for some form of horns on head. Wings and/or tail is a maybe, up to the artist. I am all over small fangs (anime style for wild characters, not long vampire fangs).
