Classes and Subclasses

• Berzerker
A short-tempered warrior who's rage makes them stronger and more powerful. They are not to be trifled with and often hold little to no qualms about bashing your head in.

→ Advantages are
• Increased Strength When Enraged
• Higher Constitution/Health
• Profficiency with Blunt Weaponry

→ Disadvantages are
• Decreased Strength When Calm
• Lower Intelligence
• Prone to MORE Scarring and/or Injury


• Paladin
A religious knight who was taken vows to force everyone to uphold laws and often justice as well. Many believe that they are the hands of justice and are often well respected in human communities. Paladins tend not to favor non-humans.

→ Advantages are
• Higher Charisma Amongst Humans
• Slight Immunity to Dark Magics
• Profficiency with Blades and/or Maces/Morningstars

→ Disadvantages are
• Decreased Charisma Amongst Non-Humans
• Must Always Uphold Their Order's Laws, most of which involve CELIBACY
• Sacrifice Slight Constitution and Strength for Speed


• Duelist
Fighters with an unusual bit of elegance about them. When they are in melee combat, they look as if they are dancing. Many of which actually work as dancers, although this isn't necessarilly a requirement for this class.

→ Advantages are
• Increased agility, making them harder to hit
• Slightly higher charisma than most.
• Skilled with thinner blades

→ Disadvantages are
• Sacrifice strength for speed.
• Slightly lower health than most warriors.
• Cannot wear heavy armor.



↕→ ☼ Mage ☼ ←↕

• Healer/Priest(ess)
Light mages who are extremely talented with the healing arts. Most often they are religious figures of some sort, but this does not have to be.

→ Advantages are
• Able to use healing magic.
• Immune to curses
• Make Money Quickly and Easilly - People are violent dumbasses, so this isn't hard to understand.

→ Disadvantages are
• Usually physically weak.
• Cannot use elemental magic.
• Suck at physical combat.


• Elementalist

Your most common type of mage. Unlike the white mage who does healing and teleportation or the black mage who specializes in the unholy arts, elementalists mainly use magic somehow involving nature. The extremist elementalists can become Druids, though more often than not druids only use earth and/or water magic.

→ Advantages are
• Depending on their major element, they cannot be harmed by that type of magic. Water mages cannot be hurt by water, fire mages cannot be hurt by fire, earth mages cannot be poisoned, ect. ect.
• Animals like them more
• Can use their magic as a weapon

→ Disadvantages are
• Suck with weaponry, as do most other mages.
• Cannot use light/dark magic
• Usually physically weak. Druids, however, are never physically weak.

• Black Mage

Necromancers, Demon-handlers, ect. ect. These mages excell in the dark arts, most often having their magic fuel off of the lives of others or their own inner hatred.

→ Advantages are
• If Necromancers, can cheat death by becoming liches if powerful enough. If Demon-Handlers, they can summon and sometimes enslave demons from the deepest depths of hell. If simply Hex-Handlers or other dark magic users, they are immune to hexes.
• Their magic more than makes up for any lack of fighting experience/ability.
• Can keep lesser demons/sometimes moderately powerful demons as familiars.

→ Disadvantages are
• Light magic can kill them in higher doses. Black Mages must either heal naturally, suck out the lifeforces of others to heal, or use other black magics to regain their health.
• Not very physically strong. Like most mages, they rely on their magic to get by.
• Frowned upon by most societies. Entire guilds exist to hunt Black Mages, so revealing yourself as such isn't all too wise.

• Assassin
Cold-hearted killers who stalk through the shadows, murdering the targets they were paid to slay. The smarter assassins tend to use dirty tactics to slay their targets, such as back-stabbing and poisoning.

→ Advantages are
• Stealth
• Poison-making isn't difficult for most assassins.
• Healthier overall, since many have at least a basic understanding of the medicinal arts

→ Disadvantages are
• Sacrifices strength for speed and dexterity
• Cannot Wear Armor
• Lower Stamina

• Pirate
Raiders of the sea. They steal, plunder, ravish gorgeous people, and are raging alchoholics by steriotype. Not all of the above has to be true, but they must steal and plunder on the seas to be a pirate.

→ Advantages are
• Find it easier to locate/obtain gold than most
• Don't Get Seasick
• Great With Blades

→ Disadvantages are
• Cannot Wear Armor
• Weaker Against Charm Spells
• Authority Figures HATE Them More

• Thief
Your typical rogue. They tend to be the charming bastards who pickpocket you, steal away your hot wife, and other fangasm-worthy dastardly deeds. Not all are evil, but every thief has at least a tiny bit of greed in their kleptomaniac paws.

→ Advantages are
• Find Gold/Treasure More Easilly
• Stealth
• Higher Charisma

→ Disadvantages are
• Authority Figures HATE Them
• Restricted to lighter armor, if any, such as leather
• Sacrifices strength for speed and agility.

Story

Possession is nine-tenths of the law, right?

Dark spirits, demons, animalistic spirits, and gods all take this rule very seriously. One such god who took this seriously was the god of thievery, a devilish god who believed that everything belonged to him and him alone in some shape or form. What he wanted most, he would take by any means necessary. What he didn't want for the moment he would simply 'lend' to everyone else. (More often than not, what he 'rightfully claimed' were important peoples' wives and their most beloved treasures) Tired of dealing with him and his arrogance, he was sealed away by the other gods and goddesses in a small and seemingly worthless ring. This was his own personal hell, alone and trapped with a worthless ring as his only treasure.

One day, a poor peasant child came upon the ring. Having never seen jewelry more expensive than this in their entire life, the child grew to be rather enchanted by it. Instead of wearing the ring, the child kept it as their secret treasure. That, plus, the ring wouldn't fit onto their tiny fingers. Upon the child's sixteenth birthday, their coming of age, they tried on the ring to find that it was now a perfect fit! Unfortunately, the child was no longer able to enjoy this. For you see, the god of thievery had taken control of this weak mortal's mind the instant the child was able to slip on the ring. Now, thanks to the child's carelessness, the God of Thievery has returned to take back what is 'rightfully his'. Of course, the child's older sibling has something to say about that!

While the God Thief has left to take control of great lands once more, the child's elder sibling is on a journey to stop the Thieving God and to get their little sibling back! Of course, there's nothing saying that there aren't other dangerous foes along the way...

Bio: Riley was raised by his elder sister, Mala, in the slums of Atanus. He was often told stories of grand mansions and gorgeous treasures, each of which Mala had told them that she would work hard for so that they could have such luxuries in the future. After hearing one such tale, he found a pretty-looking ring and decided to keep it as his secret treasure. Badly, he wanted to wear it. However, it just wouldn't fit until his sixteenth birthday. Unfortunately for Riley, he was possessed just as Mala was able to get some of the fortune she desired for them both as a High Priestess. Now Van Dieux's in control of Riley's body and isn't too keen on giving it up - especially since he'll likely be stuck back in the ring unless she can somehow find a way to lift the curse. The main reason why he hasn't fled Mala's company is that he thinks she might prove useful in getting his old body back.
Personality: Riley is optomistic and slightly naive. Van Dieux is sneaky, sly, a smooth talking klepto, and has a wandering eye for girls.

Bio: Mala grew up dirt poor, taking care of her younger brother/sister in the slums of the great city of Atanus, which had been named in honor of one of the many goddesses worshipped in the area. Unlike the beautiful rich ladies who were lathered in expensive perfume and spoiled by all, Mala had to work for a living. Instead of sitting in the lap of luxury, Mala was outside most of the day watching over her baby brother/sister while doing backbreaking labour or more unmentionable career choices. Eventually, she grew to be weary of her life. Somehow, the church of Atius helped ease her pain. Especially since the priestesses there were so kind to her and her brother as well as offering them shelter when they could. Whens he was old enough, she was able to come into service as a priestess for the Goddess of Fertility. From then on she grew in rank and eventually became the High Priestess. It was only a day after this that she had discovered that her younger sibling was acting strangely. When she discovered the cause, she was horrified. The goddess Atius and the god of THIEVERY never got along well. Since then, she has vowed to get her precious sibling back by banishing the not-so-beloved god from their body.

Mikhael, of course, joined in an angry sense of vengance. this is where he got the nickname, the puppeteer. he utilized his necromantic prowess, throwing several knives at a wounded enemy, and taking control before the body could even hit the ground. eventually, his townsfolk became afraid of him, and ousted him, by bringing the miliitia agianst him. though he was a ruthless killer, he couldnt go up agianst his own people. he's wandered around, without a specific destination since. he's since nearly mastered using dark energy and necromancy.
Personality: can be friendly and approachable, until you make yourself his enemy. then he becomes ruthless, and sometimes sadistic.

Bio: Akira is a shigofumi mail deliverer. A shigofumi you ask? A letter, fumi, delivered from the afterlife, shigo. Hence shigofumi. It’s the final message left from one who has died be it either a hate letter or a love letter, a will, or a few words of advice, Akira sends it all. She was sent from the Gospel department to send these shigofumi’s all around the world to people in the living. Akira herself is immortal. Has she had a life other than work? No. But that doesn’t stop her from having fun.
Personality: Akira is very naïve, though she is very strict with her work. She tends to get a bit hasty and impatient, but her bluntness always adds humor.
Other Information: Akira is practically useless in both magic and physical strength. That’s why she has two helpers which were picked up by the Gospel department to defend her. A shigofumi mail deliverer is hard to come by which is why she is well protected. On another note, Akira has wings and the ability to fly.

Bio: Remus grew up learning the dark arts. His aunt was very into it and owned a magic shop. His mother and father had their own business with it as well. They lived in a small farmland where only a few houses lived by. The neighbors grew worried that the Fortuna family was mustering up trouble. They blamed the family for having bad crops and giving bad luck. So, the neighbors grew into a mob and burned away the house and their shop. His father died in the fire. With only his mother and aunt, they were driven out of several villages until his mother and aunt could no longer afford to feed and care for him. So they sold Remus as a slave. Remus’ hatred for life grew and he murdered his master and escaped. Soon, he began to summon horrible monsters and terrorized the villagers. By several years, the Gospel department overlooked this until Remus ended up killing a shigofumi message deliverer. The Gospel department ended up punishing Remus for his acts and then sealed most of his powerful magic. He is now serving his sentence guarding another shigofumi deliverer by the name of Akira.
Personality: Remus is cold and unforgiving, but always one to think about his actions. He has the brains in his small travelling party and is also the one with the temper. He doesn’t say much but when he does, it’s usually an insult. Yet there’s a soft spot somewhere in there.
Other Information: Remus does have magic to summon and to heal but most of his most powerful magic was sealed away. He has a revolver if he needs it yet he no longer isn’t as violent, so he doesn’t use it as often.

Bio: Vincent grew up in nobility, always one that was spoiled. And he was for that matter. He always played around, flirted with the maids, and neglected his duties as a son. His family was tired of his recklessness. So, as to punish him, they kicked him out. Vincent was a shame to the family. And, as if to further punish him, sent him to the Gospel department. He was assigned someone to protect by the name of Akira and has been with her ever since he turned twenty.
Personality: Vince is a goof off, yet his loveable personality has won him several escapes from a beating. He can be serious but that’s rare. His optimistic point of view always seems to cheer people up and if it’s one thing or another, Vincent loves making people happy.
Other Information: Vincent has had experience in fighting and carries a blade with him. He’s quick on his feet and his mouth and is constantly being told to shut up.
He also knows that Remus has some underdeveloped feelings for him and always teases him about it. It's a love hate relationship with him.

Obvious? In her true form? Yes. To be fair, though, one who isn't a dragon would have extreme difficulty distinguishing a male dragon from a female. In her human form? Not so much.
Sexuality: Heterosexual.
Crush/Lover: Argamorne does not normally grow romantically attached to any man, especially since she switches mates often. This is not uncommon amongst younger dragons, especially Red Dragons.

Bio: Argamorne was once the proud daughter of two powerful red dragons in the clan of flame. Unlike today, she was very arrogant and wreckless. She had a falling out with them, and as a result, she was banished. Before long she found a large and cozy cave to call her own. Since then, she has been trying to make her own clan - as many banished dragons do. However, there aren't any male dragons around. Who would she be able to mate with, then? Due to nearly being desperate, she has begun to abduct hansome humanoid gentlemen every now and then in order to try and reproduce. Unfortunately, it's difficult for dragons to reproduce - especially with 'lesser beings'. She hopes that her only daughter, Argamene, will help increase the population of the clan she is founding.
Personality: Calm, Not All Too Outspoken, Prideful
Other Information: Argamorne has the scar on her face both in her human form and her drakonic form. She had recieved it during a battle with a powerful dragonslayer. Whether or not he still lives is currently unknown, but she knows she didn't kill him upon his defeat.

Bio: Gage was and is a demon. Many years ago he was summoned by a powerful Black Mage to be used in battle, sadly for those in he battle, well Gage just so happened to eat them, And thus by eating his master he gained freedom of the human world. As a bonus he gained the powers of a Black Mage. Now this Demon wonders the earth. Simply eating living things to stay alive and occasionally killing off a entire village when bored.
Personality: demonic, crazy.
Other Information: Gage, due to eating many people over many years, can perform the basics of warrior and other types of mages, though he cannot do light magic because he is a demon. He does not have 'super' strength either, only enough to lift a knight in full armor. His mastery is with the dark arts.

Bio: Damian was born a rich man, he had everything he wanted, except a sister. His parents were willing to give Damian anything he wanted, but not this. Damian was lonely as he was younger and grew up as such, upon his 17th birthday he began to dabble in the dark arts in his desperate state. after a year of searching and practicing he finally managed to call upon darker powers to make his wish to come true. He met with what appeared to be a dark god. The god made his wish come true, but not as he expected, the first being that he got 2 sisters. The second was they weren't normal at all. The first he named Mary, she was a mute who wore masks upon her face. The second he named Red, due to her likeness to Little Red Riding Hood. Though the pair of girls weren't human, both were demonic beings. Now Damian takes care of his sisters, but when push comes to shove, they take care of Damian.
Personality: Damian is rather calm, friendly, means well, but is many times not the most social person. Mary is a kind girl, who enjoys entertaining others. Red has a sweet look, but she gets jealous easily and resorts to violence quickly.
Other Information: (on the right)Mary seems to have an infinite amount of masks upon her face, for whenever she pulls one off another is beneath it. Her power though is in her true face. All who look upon it experience pain like they have never felt before or death. (pain for RPCs and death for NPCs) (on the left)Red has incredible speed and seems to carry a near infinite amount of weapons inside her picnic basket.
