 4☆ -C o l o u r s o f t h e h e a r t - ♡ 4☆ The story so far. . . . The Winter War finally ends with many casualties. Inoue Orihime is back in her Karakura Town apartment, but this time not alone. She has resurrected the former 4th Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer and spared him from a sure black void of a Hollow death. Now they must live together in the same household in secret. If anyone finds out of the ex-Espada's existence, the two of them will perish under the hands of the Soul Society. "Ring, Ring!" the alarm clock beeped relentlessly. Soon, Inoue Orihime was jarred out of her slumber. "It's time to get ready," she thought."Another day of school!" Inoue did her regular morning routine as usual: run into the bathroom, take a shower, brush her teeth, dress into her school clothes. After 15 long minutes, she was finally ready to attend another colorful school day. She skipped to the couch excitedly. There, the former fourth Espada laid there in deep slumber. She examined his features while in a state of slumber. He didn't have that frown he usually wore, instead a neutral expression. Ulquiorra had the book, Wuthering Heights in his hand, and to her amazement, he was already on chapter twenty-two. "He must have stayed up last last night." she thought. Orihime could not keep her eyes from staring at his face. She didn't realize how handsome he was before. I mean - why would she think of how attractive he was at the dome while being in a state of shock? His appearance was different from the others, and in a good way. He had raven black hair, big emerald eyes, black lips, a trail of green markings starting from his eyes to the bottom of his face, and flawless skin as white as the moon itself. Inoue blushed at the thought. Five minutes later, she snapped out of her trance. "Bad Orihime! Why are you thinking of this stuff?!" she mumbled to herself in a low voice. She extended her hand to tap the sleeping chiropteran on the shoulder, but stopped her hand in the process. "Ulquorra needs his sleep," she thought to herself. "It would be really rude to wake him up..." Instead, Inoue just raced to the kitchen, cooked a breakfast for two, and packed her own bento while leaving the second portion atop the table on a covered plate so her roommatewill have something to eat. She left school in a hurry, not even saying good bye.

"Because of the heart, I lust for everything about you" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The otherwise indifferent person at the couch moved slightly when the sound of the front door closing, cut through the otherwise painstaking silence. The former 4th Espada had been awake the whole time; listening to every hurried step the woman had taken across the floor, how she had been fumbling at the kitchen with what was supposedly her breakfast, and how she had stopped close to him in a moment of silence… That, he didn’t understand. Slowly lifting his body from the couch, noticing how the alluring state of sleep was hard to shake off, before he allowed his green piercing eyes to drift towards the kitchen where a neatly packed breakfast immediately caught his attention.
A deep sigh left his lips; but only because he was alone. He had never been too fond of human food… but perhaps that had something to do with the woman’s unusual taste buds. After he had been resurrected, a lot of things had changed inside of him; pleasant and unpleasant things. He didn’t know if the woman had noticed it yet, but underneath the brown sweater he wore, was just a white firm surface consisting of muscles and skin; no hollow hole.
Lifting his fingers slowly, tracing the fingertips at where his hollow hole was supposed to be, he allowed a slight frown to form across his features. He didn’t know how or why such a thing had happened; if it was because of his sudden understanding of the heart, or because of the woman’s unusual powers, but there was nothing to do about it. He was probably the first ever Arrancar to not have a hollow hole…
Lifting himself completely off of the couch, he placed the book he had been reading at the coffee table just next to where he had slept, before he made his way to the kitchen. He stared at the neatly packed breakfast for several seconds… It would be rude of him not to eat up.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Eight long hours passed as an eternity would. Inoue trudged to her apartment while holding a morose expression. "How in the world could I have failed that test?" she thought glumly.
She opened her apartment door, neither looking at the former fourth or saying any words to him. Inoue unpacked her belongings onto a wooden desk and selected a few items to store into her knapsack to take with her. She walked towards the door, getting ready to leave once more.

"Because of the heart, I lust for everything about you" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the following 4 hours, Ulquiorra tried to consume the breakfast Orihime had made to him, but to no avail... and in the next 3 hours and 55 minutes, just before the oblivious woman returned again, he went back to the comfortable space at the couch where he gave his undivided attention to the 22th chapter of the book he was currently reading. First when the woman returned, seemingly very busy, he rose from his sitting position and approached her just as she was about to leave again.
Placing his hand at the doorknob, he denied the woman her only way of getting out of the house, before he turned his deep green eyes to hers.
"Woman." The one word he hadn't forsaken even after she had ressurected him. "I request an explanation for why you're making such a fuss." Honestly, he just wanted to know why she went from place to place, not even bothering to notice him whenever she returned to her appartment. "Explain yourself."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
