So I went to an 80's club last night with my boyfriend and a few of his friends. Haha, it was pretty awesome. We were like one of the few people under the age of 40 in there. Needless to say, we were the worst dancers. I wish more people danced like they did in the '80's today. Everyone would be waaaay happier. Because I know I had a blast dressing up and using copius amount of hair spray. I dont think my bangs EVER had a lift like that. HAHA.
I'll post some pictures once Nate uploads them to facebook.
My advice: if you have an 80's night or an 80's club near you, go. It will be a LOT of fun.

I don't know if I'd like an 80's night, seeing as how the only good kinds of music coming out then was Goth Rock, Punk Rock, and Industrial. And I know they wouldn't be playing that....

My musical snobbery can't be put aside, it always comes first, I can't ignore it.
I don't know how to have a good time if I dislike the music being played. I know, it sucks.

Well, I can if its like some party with a shitty sound system and I can move away far enough so that I can ignore the music. But at clubs the music is always really load and noticable, and usually annoying.

I think we're all forgetting the greatest thing to come out of that decade: this.

And I know they wouldn't be playing that.... You are SADLY mistaken. Nope. Well maybe, there were some other good kind of music around, but none they'd play on an 80's night at a club. The popular rock and metal were very terrible, just as the popular rock and metal are now, and were in the 90's and so on. They only play popular music at clubs, especially on themed nights like the 80's, 90's and the 70's and such.

Ironic that I've been defending this whole 80's night thing, because I just found out a local bar is having one this Saturday, and I have absolutely no intention whatsoever of going.
