Nintendo DSi Price Drop! __________________________
Nintendo announced on August 30 that they are lowering the price of the Nintendo DSi & DSi XL. In approximately two weeks, DSi will be selling for $149.99 and the DSi XL will have the pricetag of $169.99. Sadly, the DS lite will remain the same price.
Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing, said "We know shoppers want to get the maximum value out of every dollar they spend," … "Our new Nintendo DSi prices make it easier than ever for consumers to access the tremendous variety of games, applications and social tools on the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL systems."
I can’t help but think that the 3DS’s impending release has something to do with this. No release date has been set for this magical piece of hardware yet. However, perhaps Nintendo has one in mind?
Nonetheless, this is very good. What with all the upcoming releases launching these next couple months, consumers should appreciate the extra money. Especially if you’re planning on getting Golden Sun: Dark Dawn this November
