Physical Description: Nishoba is a thin, wiry, and athletic individual with smoky white hair and deep blue eyes.

Personality: Nishoba is carefree and laid back, usually going off on his own, rather than studying anything. His casual attitude drove his instructors at the academy nearly insane, but he was still able to graduate with fairly high marks. The only ability he showed real potential in was sword fighting, even knocking his instructor out a couple of times. Since he lost the companionship of his gang, he has tended to keep mostly to himself. He didn't have friends at the academy, since most people viewed him as unreliable due to his shrugging off of studies. When he is in combat, he tends to get lost in the fight, focusing only on the enemy in front of him, hence why he had knocked his instructor out in sword training. He takes his combat very seriously, and it can be dangerous interjecting into one of his fights.
Zanpakutou: Kagehebi is his Zanpakutou's name. (Means Shadow Serpent)
Zanpakutou Spirit: When appearing in spirit form, Kagehebi will appear as a wispy, thin black smoke cobra, roughly 12 feet long. (I say roughly because it is, after all, made of smoke and shadows.) He and Nishoba do not always get along, and more often then not Kagehebi will go for extended periods without speaking to him, much to Nishoba's annoyance. When he does speak, it's usually in an arrogant manner, usually laced with insults at Nishoba's abilities. There does seem to be some caring, though, whenever Nishoba is in trouble, Kagehebi will generally give helpful hints as to what he should do.
Inner World: The Inner world is an inky, black cavern. It's cold, and quiet there, with mist swirling about. Seeing in any direction would be impossible, if it weren't for a single candle directly in the center. The flame sways and sputters as if blown by a breeze, except there is no wind at all. Because of the shuddering flame, long and irregular shadows. Kagehebi likes hiding in these shadows, the only hint that he's there being his blood-red eyes. He only fully reveals himself when he has something serious to say to Nishoba.
Sealed Form:In it's sealed form, Kagehebi is a 5 1/2' long Nodachi that Nishoba wears on his back.
(Not obtained yet) Shikai Name/Release Phrase: The release command for the Shikai state is "Marudashi no Kiba......Kagehebi. (Marudashi no Kiba= Bare your fangs)
Shikai Description:
When Kagehebi is released, the Zanpakuto blade becomes a long, 6 ft. bladed whip with a paralyzing poison in the blades. The poison has varying degrees of effect and duration, depending on who/what he's fighting, and whether or not he's fatigued at all.
Shikai Powers/Attacks:
[ Barrier ] By stepping on the tip of the whip, Nishoba can spin it around his body, creating a defensive barrier.
[ Molt ] - The individual blades on the whip can be disconnected, and replaced with a new one. (Can only be done twice in one battle)
[ Snake Charmer ] - Nishoba detaches the entire whip from the hilt of his sword, controlling the motions with the hilt. This way he can attack from a distance without using one of his Molt ability. (Uses Reiatsu quickly)
[ Fang Shuriken ] - Fang Shuriken uses the individual blades taken off during Molt as projectiles. Controlled by the phrase "Kokoro o Sasu" (Pierce the heart) When this command is spoken, each blade will rise in the air, and fly at different angles towards the opponent, each seeking out the same spot.
(Not obtained yet) Bankai Name/Release Phrase: The release command for Bankai is "Shako no Shi, Kagehebi" (Shako no Shi=Shade of Death)
Bankai Description: When released into Bankai form, Kagehebi's form changes to a large black and crimson Kama. In addition, even if the day were cloudless, it will become as dark as a moonless night in the immediate area. Nishoba's outfit and appearance change as well, his eyes going from blue to crimson, and his attire becoming a long, black hooded snakeskin cloak.
Bankai Powers/Attacks:
While in Bankai, he can summon snakes from the shadows, each armed with the poison in his blades. While his enemy is within the boundary of his Bankai, their ability to see is greatly reduced (They can still see, but only about 5 feet in front of them. The boundary has a few drawbacks though. The boundary extends only 100 feet, and should his opponent get out of it, he's easily open to counterattack, and the snakes he is able to summon have a finite limit, since summoning them rapidly consumes his Reiatsu. They are only able to exist inside the boundary, this being due because any light source would cause them to vanish.
Special Accessories: Blue earrings. The earrings are small vials containing concentrated amounts of Nishoba's Reiatsu in liquid form. Used for emergency healing. Once put in, they slowly draw Reiatsu from the wearer until full. They were given to him by one of his instructors with the words, "Since you're so reckless, and don't listen to others, you may wind up hurting yourself. With these, at least you can make it back alive enough to be treated should you be gravely injured." They can only heal enough to keep the user from dying. After that, it takes 4 weeks before they're able to be used again.
Skills: Agile and light on his feet.
