Mental Stats
Friends:
Foes: His captors
Likes: Being around people
Dislikes: The dark, being ignored, mages, thunder, being alone

Description: Despite his history, Oraeryn is shockingly gentle and patient. He loves people, though his past has instilled an instinctive fear and hate of mages in him. He cannot stand to be ignored, it brings up vivid memories of the mages' fashion of ignoring him, and can terrify him into thinking whoever's ignoring him at the time is thinking of treating him the same way.

He enjoys physical contact, loves to be touched and to touch others, though thanks to his experiences in captivity, he's gotten a lot more hesitant to initiate contact with someone he's just met.

Abilities:
Physical: Oraeryn has average strength and stamina. He's easily outmatched by anyone with decent martial arts training. He's just a tad bit faster and more agile than the average man his size though.

Minor injuries regenerate within a matter of minutes, and larger ones heal just a bit faster than the average human's. He is just as easy to fatally wound as the next human, though thanks to his experiences in captivity, he's very accustomed to pain. Because of this, he'll keep going far longer than the average human, even when fatally injured.

Mental: Possessing a great deal of magical energy, Oraeryn is very limited in how he can use it. Healing is his strength, and just as he heals rapidly, he can heal others. Though he himself can come back from the dead, he's unable to bring others back from death.

He can sense whether or not individuals around him can use magic, though it's a very short ranged sense, and requires a few minutes for him to get a sense of the individual.

History
Summoned into this world by a cult of mages, Oraeryn quickly learned they had bound him to a human body, that was apparently a physical incarnation of their god. Chained to a mural of the god, they believed him to be the embodiment of their god's powers.

Whenever interacting with him, the mages addressed the god on the mural he was chained to, and for Oraeryn, it was as if they looked straight through him, never acknowledging him.

Life on Gaia quickly became hell for him, as the mages repeatedly gathered his blood and used it in their spells. Thanks to the way he recovered from the blood loss, and never retained any scars from the cuts, they believed him immortal. Eventually, they grew careless in their treatment of him, and Oraeryn died from blood loss.

For Oraeryn, who knew beyond a doubt he was dying, this was wonderful news. It should have been an escape from them, a return to his own realm.

It wasn't. He spent some time in a place of nothingness, and for him, it was wonderful just to be away from the constant torture. After just two days had passed on Gaia, his body had regenerated, and his soul returned to it.

The mages were astounded and delighted with the powers their god had bestowed on the vessel, and continued using him to fuel their magic. Years of this torture, and more deaths than he could count, and Oraeryn finally snapped.

In a bloody rampage, he broke free and killed many of the mages. After escaping their den, the madness passed, and Oraeryn spent several weeks in hiding before daring to venture out in the cities.
