Not only is it pretty-looking, but businesses are catching on and learning the economic and environmental benefits of having goya or Morning Glory growing over your windows.

Wouldn't this be nice to see in US cities?

Discuss.

Oh wow; that is really neat!
I would love to have something like that growing outside of my house. >3

Cleaning the dead plants off every winter may be a chore.

But yeah, morning glories are pretty if you're up to see them.

That... is... so.... COOL!

Netting would be hard to clean em off but a wooden trellis could be significantly easier to clean.

I WANTS. xD

We have grown plants this way to shade a porch in the summer. For some reason, I've never been able to get morning glories to work here, but scarlet runner beans and hops work well---cucumbers, too.

My parents have an absolute ton of morning glory in their yard. It grows wild and has pretty much taken over (although admittedly we said, "Yes! A volunteer! And one that won't die!") but I never thought about trying to grow it into a green wall. May actually try that sometime. 3nodding

You have to be careful with which plant you use. I don't think the benefits are worth introducing an invasive species.
