On the far side of the local beach, one can find a cluster of rocks, covered in moss and smoothed over from the years of erosion. If one were to work their way around this mass, managing not to slip or be frighted by a passing crab, they would come across a quaint cave. The sand slowly transfers into sleek, round rocks underfoot and the dank walls give little holds to allow one to walk through. Crawling appears to be the easiest method, but be cautious of any creatures.. They tend to be the most aggressive here, preferring to defend their home than allow an intruder inside. When the shore is reached and one scrambles onto the dry land at the end of the pool, do not be surprised to find one or two seals lounging the day away in solitude. The occasional bully will try to chase someone out, but they are usually a docile bunch as long as one minds their own business. Passing by them, deeper into the cave, there is no opening to shed light, but farther in.. Somewhere in this maze of dead ends and dips, a seemingly luminous stream leading to a small shrine can be found. Here, we give worship to the Water Fairy and all it's past followers.

Amaya looked around the area she had just arrived in. It seemed peaceful enough, then again most anything seemed peaceful compared to sitting in the study while Ai was running about the house and coming in the room every now and then to tell Amaya something pointless. The woman sat upon a rock just outside of the cave while she held a notebook and pencil in her hand to jot down any ideas that may come to her mind.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ An average looking young man was taking a nap inside of the cave, when he quickly awoke with a fright! The night terrors... it was that dream again, where he was Mothra and was trying to destroy Tokyo, but then Godzilla showed up and started kicking his a**. Godzilla always showed up, that oversized fat b*****d... The young man looked around, no one here... but there was a woman outside! In a lovely kimono. No... not a woman! A mermaid perhaps?! Yes! Mermaid! After all, Niravni Island was famous for it's mermaids and sirens and weird fairy sex! He quickly scurried over to her, and popped out form behind her.
"Hello young mermaid! Young beautiful mermaid, what are you doing here hmmm?!" He asked quickly and excitedly. The boy quickly stood in front of her, bending down a bit to be on eye level, as she was on a rock and all. "What is your name?! Why are you here?! Are you trying to hide a body?! Am I the body?! Hmm... no no, doesn't make sense at all! Oh wait! I get it now, you're probably a scout here to investigate us landwalkers so that yo may inform your fellow troops down in Atlantis that we are defenseless so that you may attack us for polluting your waters?!"

Amaya looked up from her notebook as she heard someone speaking to her. It was a young man though Amaya had no idea where he had come from, no one was here a moment ago. She looked back down to her notebook, not paying much attention him or to what he was saying, it didn't seem all that important anyway. From what she did hear it sounded like he was going on about her being a mermaid or something. She sighed and looked up once again after he finished, "Do you need something?"

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ "YES! I WANT ANSWERS MERMAID!" He said, as he continued to rant on about her plans to enslave all landwalkers into being their bitches. Sure it would just be considered decent if all of the merpeople were mermaids and not mermen too! That would just be creepy! "You cannot play dumb out of this one mermaid slash siren!" Yes now she was a mermaid mixed with a siren. "But you cannot hide..." The young man quickly grabbed the bottom of her kimono and pulled it up, seeing her nice smooth legs and - ahem - under garments. "Your nice legs... ILLUSIONS!" He said as he quickly put his hand on her legs and rubbed.
"Weird, your illusion's scales feel almost like skin." He said this as he just stared at her in the eyes, thoroughly confused. He had a blank expression, but didn't stop rubbing the girl's legs! He knew they would turn back into a mermaid tail if he did this enough, it was what his paranormal magazine told him happens!

She attempted to ignore him yet again as the young man continued his ranting, it wasn't like he had anything useful to say anyway. It was working out alright until he pulled up her kimono and started rubbing her legs.
"That's because it is skin," she pointed out to him quite bluntly, "Now will you stop that," she said as she turned her legs away from him and pulled her kimono back down. "Now if you'll excuse me I am trying to work on a script for my play," she said, obviously annoyed with him.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ "Ah. Well. It is very nice skin. I see that you take care of yourself well. Very soft and nice." Frederick commented. He was trying to make it less awkward, but it was obvious that he was blushing madly. The young man tried looking past her shoulder, and eventually set his head down on her shoulder, reading what she had there. "Hmm! I see you are! Let me offer my assistance, yes?!" Before giving her time to decline his offer, he started speaking again! "Your characters are too bland!" He took the notebook and looked it over, reading very quickly. He then turned around and pointed at one of the character's name.
"He should be a transvestite!" He then pointed to the other one. "And she should be an alien with a razor sharp v****a! THERE. PERFECT STORY! BOOM!" He handed her back the notebook with an accomplished look. As if to say that his help was free. He then sat down on the same rock as her - or a least tried to squeeze himself on it - and put an arm around her. "So! Are you single!? Want to go out?! We shall go to your Atlantis' best restaurant, right?!" He only paused for one second, which to him was forever. "Just testing you! So dinner?! Lunch?! Brunch?! Coffee?! Want to get married?! Go dancing?! Karaoke?! Have my first child?! Show me more of your stories perhaps?!"

She turned to look at him as he set his head on her shoulder, "I would appreciate if you wouldn't do that," but by the time she had said it he had already begun talking again and had even decided to offer to help her. She didn't have the chance to decline because the young man had already began speaking yet again.
"I highly doubt anyone would pay to see that," she said to him as he handed her back the notebook. She decided to let him sit on the rock with her knowing that if she asked him not to he wouldn't listen. It seemed that as soon as he sat down he started going on about something else. She took a deep breath to calm herself, did this guy really just ask if she was single. "Yes I am single, however I choose not to waste my time dating idiot men. I have more important things to tend to anyway," she stated.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ That insult flew right over Frederick's head. "Well! Good thing I am not an idiot man, just a really brilliant man with a really weird hypersomehting WHATEVER come on! TO YOUR HOME!" He got up and quickly took out a thermos, drinking down what was obviously coffee. He put it back and grabbed Amaya's hand! Lifting her up and quickly started to lead her into the deeper water! Before quickly stopping. "Guess not Atlantis?! Alright your LANDWALKER place!" He then walked right a bit before stopping... then walked left... then right again, all while holding her hand tightly. "Uhhh! You lead the way to your underwater palac-ermm... home!" Clearly he wasn't going to quit anytime soon!

Wow, was he really that slow. Amaya shook her head, "That's what all men say," she pointed out to Frederick. All of them were obviously idiots, though none of them would ever admit it. As he lifted her up a shriek of surprise escaped her lips, "Will you put me down," she said angrily. Was this man crazy!? Once on solid land she quickly brushed herself off with her one free hand as she pulled the other one away from Frederick. She didn't really want to lead him back to her home but if she did then she could always get Ai to entertain him, "Follow me," she stated with a sigh. -Exit to Sayuri Residence-

"I don't think this is your house or the inn." She said somewhat sacrastically, "Unless you live in a cave that is. You don't happen to live here do you?" Why had he let her lead anyway? She kept telling him she was bad at this. She had obviously chosen the wrong path. And know they were at the beach! At a cave at the beach, and to make things worse, they had found another shrine back there in the field.
Celeste had heard of Gladice, but why would she put the shrine's up? And besides, wasn't that a question for Robert to answer? He was the PI after all. At least he was finally starting to seem as fed up with these horrible little things as she was. Course, how much do you want to bet Robert was going to venture into the cave and find another shrine? Oh well. If they were doing this they might as well get it over with. Reaching out Celeste looped her arm through his, no way she was going in a dark cave alone. "Let's just get this over with. I have a feeling after we find this last one I will finally be able to go home and get into my nice warm bed... or maybe a bubble bath... mmmmm...." Okay, so she was pushing her problems away, who didn't?

Celest was right. She had potential to be a PI. This was neither my house, not the Inn. Unless, of course, the fairies had found a way to fuse the Big Shoe House and the Inn together, creating a beach cave... No, no. That was so complely ridiculous, that even my brother wouldn't have approved of it. The best solution was... that there was a shrine in it and Celest had guided me to it. I looked at the orange hair woman... no, not woman, fairy. I had to keep reminding me this. I looked at Celest as she wrapped her arm around mine. We walked into the cave in unison. Of course, in the middle of it, was a shrine. I left out a sigh. "I hope this is the last one... come, let's look." I pulled her with me. I didn't want to leave her behind, and she didn't look like she wanted too either. We stopped infront of the shrine. The dark made it difficult to read. What was it? there were some names... Ko... somethign. It was even worst than the one in the shrine! Oh, here was another one... Unaderson... what did that mean? Was it even a name?

Tiny, little, wings flickered out of dreamland as the presence of people came near and the voices startled her awake, and not just any people, but a certain person. Were people actually in her cave, coming to her shrine? Quickly, she pushed her way out of the crack she had snuggled comfortably into, and poked her head out. Her blue eyes searched, open wide, peering through the familiar darkness with decent accuracy. It wasn't hard to find the people, seeing how she practically lived in the dark waters, but of course these creatures weren't used to it! So their approach was slow and cautious. The girls voice, Lavender could recognize in seconds, was her follower Celeste, the fairly attractive girl with the pretty orange hair. Now who was she with? Was she making an offering? Is that her boyfriend? Is she here to give the shrine something? Does he plan to do something to the girl in her cave? Does she have a gift in her hands? Her wings fluttered in hopeful excitement and over whelming curiosity to what the couple had planned to do here.
The male and girl were close together, hooked arm in arm. They could have been frightened of the not so welcoming cave, or a couple. The idea was delightful, the love would be thick in the air if it was true! Somewhat shy, the little fairy watched, hidden, from a crack in the shrine watching the two as they drew nearer.

Celeste stumbled a bit as Robert pulled her deeper into the cave, but, with her arm through his she didn't fall and regained her balance quickly. Once she could walk normally she huddled even closer to Robert. For some reason she had the eerie feeling they were being watched. The little hairs on the back of her neck were standing up and Celeste could feel goosebumps raising the skin on her arms. While Robert read the shrine Celeste looked around... maybe there were bats in here that were silently watching them from behind their leathery skin like wings.
She shivered at the thought and looked back around at the shrine. Robert seemed to be waiting for her opinion, so she leaned forward trying to make out the names. "I don't know any of these. They don;t even sound familiar... but you know..." And she looked around again. "This place reminds me of this really beautiful shell I found on my bed one day last year..." She turned wide eyes to Robert. "Do you get the feeling we're being watched?" She asked in a whisper.

I looked at Celest as she was speaking. Was there someone really watching us? I didn't want to admit it, but I was feeling it too. Call it my spider-sense, but it was somethign that came with being a detective. You could tell when someone was watching on you. However, I couldn't see who could be in her other maybe than an animal. Maybe a seal? I hopped so. "How does a shell find it's way on a girl's bed?" I asked her curiously. Then, it hit me. She wasn't telling me about that shell she had found, she was giving me a clue about what to do. I lowered flashlight on the ground, looking for something that might look like a seashell. Ah-ha! I was right! Right there was a small pink collored shell. I picked it and showed it to Celest. Was that what she wanted me to find? "This seems to have fallen off the shrine. You should put it back on it" I told her after putting the shell in her hands. What this was going to do... I had absolutely no idea.
