What we're about to read is the situation for those who have been sleeping. On August 14th between 3 and 4 am Tila Tequila was a victim of a pelting/bashing/ECW Style rejection at this years Gathering Of The Juggalos on August 15th before ICP's set Method Man had a full can of beer thrown at him for no reason. Lawsuits have been filed, Juggalos and Juggalettes have started fighting... This is the story of the 2nd..
This years Gathering Of The Juggalos has raised the bar once again for excitement... as well as even more critics labeling us "gangs" and "cults" and other words that none of us are. The end result was a Civil war between the fam who thought it was funny that Tila Tequila got what 87% of America really wanted to see happen to her. And the fam who thought it was wrong that a woman got treated the way she did (yea it sucks she got beaten up i know).
The People involved Legaly:
Tila Tequila: Her past work was posing nude for Playboy and Penthouse, Appeared in 2 Hardcore adult films before releasing a very terrible rap album. Was the host of a short lived bachelor rip-off called "A Shot Of Love", She first appeared on the Outdoor Life/VH1 Reality Series Surviving Nugent hosted by Ted Nugent. She's lived a pretty high publicity style life in hollywood and the lawyer she has has jumped thru more loopholes than Congress (it's the same lawyer who got Linda Hogan half of Hulk Hogan's everything even tho 99% of his everything was copyrighted by Eric Bisshoff, Marvel Comics, and WWE Chairman Vince Machmon.. Yes he's that vindictive). She had bottles of piss, balls of s**t, bricks, rocks, chairs, and god knows what else thrown at her at this years gathering of the juggalos. her lawyer is sueing ICP (not psy nor Gathering LLC) for an unknown ammount of money but according to E! and TMZ.. It's expected to be as high as $10 million dollars... Jesus!
Method Man: A founding member of the legendary Wu Tang Clan. Method Man Is known for being one of the most venomous freestyle rappers to come out of the New York Area. some compared him to KRS ONE in his early years. 5 albums with the Wu Tang Clan, 4 solo albums, The Wu-Massacre CD with fellow Wu Members Ghostface Killah and Raekwon. and 2 alongside Redman. At this years gathering of the juggalos a member of the crowd threw a full can of beer at Methodman's face. He continued the show unphazed, but afterwards he confronted ICP with words of "that's bullshit son, i gotta go home to my little girl like this! i'm bleedin' from my face!" Method man is filing a lawsuit as well.... Nobody knows how much that'll be for. Rumor has it Johnny Blaze might be dissin' the clowns on his upcoming 4th solo album "Krystal Meth"
ICP: The men who envisioned the Gathering Of The Juggalos and the 2 men caught in the middle. Sure it's helping their latest record but this whole controversy is overshadowing the release of their latest motion picture Big Money Rustlas. They spent a month on radio, youtube, and on the internet telling the juggalos not to throw s**t during the gathering period! Little would they know that their question would be answered with a big no as 2 now high-profile cases have been reported that could possibly be the end of the Gathering (I hope not!) as we know it.
There have been people out there that have been defending the events as simple case of misunderstanding.
Tom Green: Comedian. He was the first to try to calm down the situation when Tila's set went out of control. He got punished with getting hit. He didn't sue. Matter of fact he spent a few extra hours at the gathering kickin' it with the fam. It's on tape... It's on tape.
Bubba The love Sponge: Shock Jock and Pro Wrestling Interviewer. Bubba was the 2nd show that had ICP talkin' about the whole situation. Yea he as always made it a funny moment but he did help defend the duo and made sure that at least the overshadowed movie got promoted. However he might have also caused more harm. But he's publicly said he's defending the duo in this situation.
Bam Margara: Famous from Jackass the tv show all the way to the recent Jackass 3D. One of the first radio shows to talk about this was Radio Bam. Bam Margara, Brandon Novak, and Brandon DiCamillo had their 2 cents on it (including Dico imitating Method Man crying to ICP about being hit in the face with a beer can). They also attempted to get ahold of the clowns to get their side of the story and show their support... To now answer.
Kevin Smith: Writer/Director of films such as the Askewenverse saga (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks II), Jersey Girl, and Zach & Miri Make A Porno. The most recent person to defend ICP during this situation. On his recent Podcast he said and i qoute "just leave em be. let em do what they want. don't expect it to be your type of show or lifestyle." Than he and his co-host went on to make fun of her for like 3 minutes. It was pretty funny.
And with supporters. Theres still the hater community that is as always giving us a hard time:
The News Media: Everybody's taken over this whole story. From Tabloid shows like the E! Network, The Insider, and TMZ. to major news outlets like CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, and FOX. And everything they've mentioned thus far has been nothing but bad news on our end.
The Juggalo Holocaust: Their message board has once again lit up with "juggalos are racist" threads and "tila's a member of jh threads" pretty much s**t that is a big waste of bandwidth on the internet. They're still lurking on websites (this one included) looking at everything we say about it and are laughing at the Civil-War the "south philly" salute to Tila Tequila started. Last time i was there there was a post saying "I hope they all implode and we don't have to hear the name juggalo anymore". It's gotton sad.
CONCLUSION!
So to wrap this bad boy up. What happend to Tila Tequila sucks balls. What happend to Method Man sucks as well. It's cool we got quite a few people defending the decisions ICP mad. And it sucks that ICP might lose a s**t-ton of money (which in these times. it's a bad thing). I don't think we need to talk about what happend at the gathering anymore. We should talk about the good things that happend this year like the new albums coming out from Rydas, Golden Goldies, Twiztid, ABK, and all the cool tours and s**t that was announced. Not about a rejected porn star thinkin' she was gonna get greeted because she was naked in 2 porno mags and is bi. no.
