 Resting upon his front paws, Zarion looked his fill into the night sky. Many stars shined down upon his current laying area, though you couldn't tell he was there as he blended real well with the dark. Deep in thought Zarion wondered about his lot in life. Many of his companions had moved on, wheither it were from mating to finding prides of their own. While he... he was still continued the same way from cubhood. It was rare to spot him smiling or laughing as according to him, he had nothing to be happy about. His golden eyes gleamed into the night, like little beacons of light among the darkness.

 Weaving his way in and out of trees, Kiros ran his heart out. This was his favourite time of night, the earth was cool and the air even cooler. Letting out a loud laugh, he jumped into a puddle of what appeared to be water. Well at least he hoped it had been water. Slight shimmers bounced off his fur from the stars up in the heavens. Picking up speed, breathless from the speed in which he traveled, Kiros couldn't seem to get enough of the rush. Not playing attention to where he was going, he tripped over a giant lump that somehow appeared out of no where.

Flicking his tail contently, he zoned once more enjoying the peace and quiet. If he had been paying the slightest attention, he would have realized the danger heading his way. Here he was minding his own business when a blow to the head stunned him and nearly knocked him out. Once the shock wore off, Zarion let out a loud and annoyed roar to whom ever attacked him. Claws extended, intent on murder but that all stopped when he spotted a leopard such as himself stumbled and fall arse over head. Skidding to a stop, the other lay motionless for a few minutes before shaking his rainbow colored spotted head. Zarion stood then, the fur on his neck stood up in anger. " Who are you sir to disturb me from my resting?" Zarion hissed out.

Kiros lay still for a minute, just having the breath knocked from his lung and bumping his head on hidden rocks inside the dirt placed ground. Once able, he shook his head to dispel the stars currently circling his head. Blinking rapidly seemed to help clear his vision. What he saw wasn't such a welcoming sight to behold. Infront of him was a what appeared to be darkblue furred leopard with a... squinting his eyes, was that a butterfly? Another low deadly growl brought him back to present and the repeated question. " Ah, sorry. The names Kiros, mister-tude." Kiros personality present in his tone of voice. Ever the melow feline he was, never afraid of anything. Some would call it stupid but he liked to challenge danger.

Bristling at Kiros' attitude and behaviour Zarion's ears lowered and pupils turned to needle thin with mounting anger. " Kiros is it," Zarion huffed out. " So reckless for someone your age. Bumbling about like some uncoordinated cub." Zarion knew he was begin a bit unfair but really, it was a bit much to get knocked down and then getting a smart aleck response in return. Or at least that came off as the impression. Licking his paw to get the dirt off of them, therefore giving the impression that he wasn't feeling threatened at all by the young upstart. Pausing in his cleaning, " My name if you must know is Zarion. "

Kiros grinned with amusement, it was so easy to get such a reaction from the grumpy sometimes. Though he knew he should tone it down a bit, teasing was okay but bloodshed? Not his style really. " Nice to meet'cha Zarion ol' buddy." Coming closer watching the other clean himself, curling his tail around in the air Kiros spoke again in the same friendly tone. " I'm new around here. Care to show me the best feeding grounds or resting places?" Kiros waited patiently, ignoring the disbelieving look currently plastered on Zarion's face.

Sitting up regally Zarion looked this semi-bright creature, shocked that he would suggests such a thing after what happened. A surprised chuckle escaped his mouth before he could prevent it. " You sir are an interesting fellow. " Zarion shook his head with wonder. " How do you know I am not an enemy? I could have attacked you and had shown no mercy. Show you around you say?" Pausing, he thought about what he had to do. Which technically was nothing, but he didn't want to give off that impression. " Well, if I must then I shall show you around. Come follow me, I know this great place that is relaxing and fun. "

' This is fun?' Kiros turned to look incredusiouly at Zarion. ' Taking me to a hot smelly spot, with nothing but water and bugs as far the eye can see?' Kiros snorted and said. " Dude. You don't take another brother to a romanitic spot such as this! Zarion ol' buddy, are you living under a rock? " Shaking his head, Kiros didn't see darkening face of displeasure or the raising paw of claws.

Eyes twitching at the youngers audacity, claws poised to kill and took a deep breath that seemed to curb the killing urge for now. " Don't dismiss things so easily boy. I was showing you what I found last night on my own. Also gender has nothing to do with love. Nothing wrong with romance between the same gender. Sit back and watch the magic that nature has provided us." Once that was said Zarion got comfortable on soft warm grass, eyes focused outward in anticipation.

Kiros watched the older leopard out of the corner of his eye before turning his attention to the sky above. " Hmm I guess you're right, nothing wrong with that..." He felt a little chastised at the verbal beating he got and let his cockiness melt away. He watched as Zarion made himself comfortable and about a beat or two after, Kiros did the same. " You know the sound of the crickets are kinda nice, calming even."
Smiling when he heard the soft grunt of acknowlegdement, Kiros watched as little lights of fire danced across the sky. They were neat little things, that was for sure. " Thanks for showing this to Zarion, it really is nice." Kiros almost missed the soft words of 'Your Welcome' but heard them he did. Yeah maybe Zarion wasn't such a stick-in-the-mud after all.
