Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be a 16 year old female; horribly fickle age.
Faction/Race Monster -- Harpy
Personality:
Pros: Aldara is fiercely loyal. Her friends, what few she may have, are her flock, so to speak. They are what she has while she is enrolled in Amityville Academy and she will do anything within her power to stand by them and support them... As long as it doesn't interfere with her own goals, that is.
Cons: Aldara is just a little bit... Blunt. She tends to speak her mind freely, rarely pausing to think about what sort of an effect that might have until after it's already happened, which tends to result in more conflicts than it does anything else.
As a teenage harpy, this blunt tongue is often combined with a good bit of brashness. Not only does she neglect to think before she talks, she also forgets to look before she leaps. Joy.
Quirks: Aldara likes shiny things, more often than not in the form of pretty jewelry be it necklaces with attractive beads, bracelets with pretty charms or bangles... Lovely human things that make most of her harpy family scowl. Her mother's mother often attempts to shove this attribute off on her father, whom she swears is nothing more than a magpie.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Aldara has been enrolled in Amityville Academy in hopes that it will somehow force her to embrace her inner monster... Or at least help to bring it out a little bit more, despite being forced to take on a more humanoid appearance in class itself. She needs to mingle more outside of her clan and find out how to truly scare.
FEAR: Shriek: This harpy has learned how to use her voice to strike fear into the heart's of men irritation into the ears of teenage boys.
Aldara's battle cry is unlike that of other harpies. When backed with fear it carries the ability to disorient an opponent for a short amount of time; just long enough for Aldara to take advantage of it and, hopefully, assume the upper hand.
Physical Description: Curvaceous; leggy. She has the sort of body that could reel men in from a distance and send them screaming once they get close enough. [ Note: The following is Aldara's in school appearance. During battles and/or when enraged, Aldara assumes her natural harpy appearance which includes the following while also adding on clawed fingers and taloned feet along with bird scaling from elbow and knee down to claw and talon respectively. This leads to a good many outfits being completely ruined... Especially shoes. ] Eye Colour: Stormy blue, like a perpetually angry sky.
Hair Colour/Style: Blueblack, worn in long, loosely falling curls.
Skin Colour: Milky white with a bit of rose at the cheeks.
Clothing Style/Colours: Colorist choice! Although I'll include a few reference-type things in the appropriate section for inspiration. Colors would likely include blacks, blues and a variation of other stormy/smokey colors, save for where it comes to jewelry/accessories, in which case the more gleam/shine the better.
Extra: Crow colored flight feathers/wings running along her arms, along with a few feathers intermingled with her hair... And tailfeathers. It's best not to ask if you can see her shake them. (At the artist's whims, Aldara may also be drawn with her more harpy features as opposed to the more 'normal' traits. It's really all up to artist preference and comfort when drawing those traits. <3 )

Aldara is meant to be an adaptation of this character. Cordelia, on the other hand, resents being likened to a Harpy.

xxxxxReality- Fierce, ill-tempered monsters with the lower body, wings and talons of a bird and the upper torso and head of a woman.
xxxxxThere are often two variations; one in which the flight feathers are attached to the arms directly vs. having wings in a separate addition to arms, as well as one in which the entire lower-half is bird-like vs. just the legs from the knee down. Both are considered harpies, although there is some debate amongst clans as to which are the more terrifying brand.
xxxxxNatural Ability:
xxxxxxxxxx • Screech: All harpies are born with the ability to throw their voice loudly in a bird-like manner. It is, more often than not, the sound that can be heard prior to a harpy attack and generally signals bad omens (as though being attacked by a flock of harpies wasn't bad enough).

Mailman Mike stopped by Hellma's desk and stared at the paper in his hand in confusion. Was this for her?It didn't really say her same...but seemed fairly apt. But if it wasn't, she might get offended. But what if she was expecting it? But it could be a bomb! Mike pondered this for a moment. To be honest, if it was a bomb he'd rather it stay with her, all things considered.
Dropping several papers in the administration office, Mailman Mike strode away whistling a jaunty little tune. The first person to see the mail was esteemed school secretary, Arel. Noticing that the pile was a bit large, he made it much smaller by pushing it into the garbage can! How efficient!
It so happened there were several applications in that stack, but no worries! The clever Acceptance Bin had been snacking on mimics earlier, and ate the whole lot of them! What fun! That day many harpies, shrews, hags, and hellbeasts were accepted into Amityville Academy! Congratulations! Your time spent here will be both pleasant and rewarding!
