Mortals. They were disgusting. Trudging around for such a brief span on their little patch of dirt, struggling just to hunt and eat and survive. And in the end? They died anyway. So fragile...The god snorted and stamped a paw. He should crush them all out of existence now and be done with it. They were weak, worthless. Only their ire at each other did him any good, and even it paled in taste to the hatred of the immortals. What use had he for the brief little insects that crawled? Once they are gone, the other gods will wane in power as well. A voice whispered in his mind. Yes, yes, he knew that. Gods drew their power from the mortals' beliefs...but he? He could live on pure hatred alone. The gods will despise you for what you would do. They have grown soft too, these past decades...

A splatter of molten rock punctuated his revere. He stretched and flexed his massive body. Soon, soon, he comforted the voices. The plan was in motion, but his pawns were yet moving into alignment. His children, his generals, were but younglings yet. A bit more time. What were a few paltry mortal months to the everliving, the immortal, he who could not be harmed by time? And yet, he was eager...so eager... But not yet. Not quite yet...

He burned with loathing, he ached to feel flesh torn under his claws and teeth. To see the fear in their eyes, the knowledge that this was their true and final end. Some would bow to him, tithe themselves to him. Those he would spare, if they proved worthy. Many, he assumed, would come to join him. It was that or death. But he would take only the best, the strongest and smartest, those who knew better than to go against him. He could see it all in his minds' eye. The mortals would flock to his great crusade. But...would the gods too, submit and follow him? They remained his only concern, a paltry one though it was.

Shinda was a rather neutral god when it came to alignment of good or bad. She just wanted to win everything. She met others who had something to conquer, some was just simple, getting over a fear something like that. Others were somewhat different but she hadn't the opportunity to help conquer anything big and part of her wanted it so bad especially after talking to Dath. She had liked that god.

The blue goddess stuck out as she moved through the grass, her colouring and large wings meant that she was one of the most obvious things around. Apparently she wasn't he only one around though, she could sense the other creatures, the ones that wanted something to conquer but she sensed some ambition larger then the others. Someone wanted to conquer something big and she could feel it.

Intrigued she started to head in the direction she was sure this creature was in. She had no idea whether they be god or mortal, they just had the ambition to conquer and that was all she was interested in.

For a while more Neltharion had sat upon his perch overlooking the surrounding areas and let his mind wander over the various scenarios of his triumph. He would win, for sure, but he wasn't exactly sure how he would go about doing it. Certainly the mortals would fear him and bow down to him, but they always seemed tho think they knew what was best, or that they should be able to think and act independently of him. Such nonsense. Certainly his minions would do things that he could not anticipate. Not unless, not unless, we're prepared for EVERYTHING...

And so he sat and thought, going over every stupid idea he assumed his mortal minions could come up with. The list was long, and he grimaced to himself. How he yearned for the day when the world was brought to its knees, its remaining mortals cowed and bowing to the gods as they once did, and should again. A lovely thought...but we have company. There, there, see? A goddess...

His eyes flashed as he spotted the blue creature heading his way, and he rose up onto all fours. Many of the gods he had met since his awakening had been pathetic, cowering like mortals before him. What had become of his breed? They'd become soft and weak...but this goddess seemed promising. Even at a distance he recognized confidence and purpose in her stride. And she was making a beeline for him. Hmm. How interesting...He called down to her from his perch, "Why who is this that comes before me, I, The glorious Hate? Speak your purpose or be gone!"

Shinda hadn't spotted the god before she spoke, not expecting him to be where he was. Then again she wasn't really one to care, generally whoever she seeked found her first it was just how it always seemed to work. The voice made her raise her head and roll her eyes.

"Hate? Well that would make sense. What you wanting to do? Take over the world?" She sat down not the slightest bit afraid of him. He looked menacing but then he was full of hate, it made sense. She looked rather bored really, as if this was just something she probably expected, though of course a God of hate, well could be different. She sometimes wished she knew what it was people were wanting to conquer before she reached them would save the odd difficult conversations but she was pretty sure this wouldn't be one of them.

"Oh and does Hate have a name? Or are you the second god I am to meet who doesn't use names." Shinda flicked her tail behind her and shuffled her wings a little. She showed no fear or signs of being nervous, in fact she was feeling rather calm and relaxed.

Oho. She seemed unimpressed, and worse, unafraid of him. Well he'd seen gods before with that attitude. They'd all changed after he'd had his way. Admittedly, they had all been males, and with weak domains. He scoffed at her, then raised a brow. What did he want to take over? How had she known...? She knows, she'd stop you! KILL her! NOW! Now before- Hush! I will not...yet. She may be of use...

He took a step towards the goddess and grunted. He was not used to being disregarded so. She was disrespectful, ignorant...but bold. He would spare her yet. "I give my name to those who earn that honor. And I use the names of those who've proven worthy of my respect. In this day and age, many of the gods have grown weak, soft. Nearly mortal-like. Pathetic fools."

"You are astute, for one so unwitting. The world has fallen out of the order it was created to exist in. I shall raze it and bathe it in fire and blood, to be reborn as it should be." He eyed her up and down. "Gods that stand in my way shall face the same fate as the pitiful mortals they would champion. What say you then, Goddess?" Would she join him? Try to flee? Fight? He was prepared to handle all situations.

"So you are trying to take over the world then." Shinda just stated and then let out a yawn.

"If you are threatening to kill me, go ahead, I will come back again and my good for nothing father enjoys a war or two, I am sure if he got wind of it would avenge my death." Granted she wasn't related to her father anymore but she hoped somewhere in that great blue body of his he might still care for his kids of past.

"Also I only join a cause I know is worth joining. However you wouldn't want to be against me. You would probably loose, shame isn't it?" She smiled, feeling incredibly cocky but he didn't scare her one bit. Even mortals would actually stand a chance with her on their side against him. Granted they might still loose, but they had a greater chance of winning.

"So are you going to tell me your name or are we going to be here all day playing word games?" Shinda just looked at the god wondering why all these domains were all in some way the same. She supposed it was somewhat obvious but at least Chaos has actually been up for talking a little.
